Bethesda Dental is by far the BEST office I’ve been to! I recently had 3 wisdom teeth extracted and I have only taken ibuprofen for the first day. I am in NO pain, what so ever! After the extraction, I was talking to all of the amazing staff. I still cannot believe how well my surgery went. The office is absolutely beautiful and high-end with a mini bar for various types of juice and coffee. Everything is brand new and very clean, its very clear that hygiene is very important in the office. Before a procedure, they place you in a room with a full body massage chair to relax you. Dr. Lee is amazing and so gentle, he makes you feel comfortable the entire time. Carmen is so sweet and very attentive. I’ve been living in New York for about year now and am happy to have finally found a permanent dentist! They also have an amazing deal right now for a free whitening upon a FREE exam and cleaning. I recommend this place to all of my friends!!

I’ll never go to another dentist again. Found out about them through a teeth whitening groupon a year ago and after a great experience, I returned for a cleaning and some more routine dental work. Dr Lee is the best. He was extremely sensitive to my comfort levels (especially as I had never had a cavity or novicane shot). The shots were PAINLESS, the work was completed fast , and I couldnt be happier. Let me also add that the facilities are top notch. The waiting room has a very modern and soothing vibe with a fish tank and a massage chair. Bottom line: Dr Lee is the best. He’s friendly and in short, he gets it. I have never had a better experience at any medical facility.

Dr. Lee is the best dentist I’ve ever been to! I’m realllyyyy picky with doctors/dentists but Dr. Lee is awesome. He’s very honest, forth coming, patient & easy going. I appreciate this 1000% because most providers just want to sell you a dream & take your money. Not Dr. Lee. The staff is very friendly & helpful & the hygienist is super sweet! The office is extremely clean & modern. They even have free coffee & water when you walk in. I’ve been here twice so far & have never waited longer than 10 minutes .. unheard of in NYC. I will be starting Invisalign with him soon & I am so excited!! Look no further. This office is truly amazing.

The best dentist I have been to in every regard. Sam and his staff are very accommodating and his service is top notch. Appointments are always confirmed and scheduling is very flexible. Sam takes every effort to properly treat and explain the procedure so I’ve always felt very comfortable in his care. He corrected the work of previous dentists and also extracted a wisdom tooth that was sitting close to a nerve without incident and with minimal discomfort.

Dr. Sam is not only very honest and skilled but also super cool and has great bedside manner.  His cleanings are gentle!!!! It helps a lot when your dentist has a great personality! His staff is always very polite and kind as well. Awesome guy. Pretty women. I would trust him with my teeth and also my unborn children.

Definitely a great dentist. Dr. Lee is skilled, polite and knows how to run an operation. I’ve had to have 3 services over the past 6 weeks and each visit has been about as enjoyable as one can have at the dentist. Additionally, the staff is incredibly professional and talented. They’re punctual and efficient, and I always get reminder calls from reception 24-48 hours prior to the visit (with the offer to reschedule if needed). I’ve recommended Dr. Lee to my gf, as well as other friends in the area. The only downside is that they play nonstop Christian music which ain’t exactly my cup of tea, but doesn’t prevent me from coming back whatsoever.

Each time I go here I have a great experience. Dr. Lee at Bethesda Dental is the best dentist I have ever had. He’s gentle (never have felt pain here) and really thorough (gives details on what he did and give great advice for how to improve). Very clean and professional office. Have recommended this place countless times and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great dentist in Manhattan. Must go here!

As said by every below, Dr. Lee is a great dentist in all ways and going there only gets better bc he is so nice and really cares to let you know whats going on with your teeth. all the little things he does (from his recommendations after your cleanings, showing you your x-rays, etc…) go a long way. highly recommended! cheers!

Dr. Lee is an artist. He is really skilled, patient, and kind. The staff at Bethesda are just as great. Everyone is super friendly. He uses state of the art equipment. His office is always immaculate. He even has a massage chair in his office too that you can use, if you have time. I never have waited long to see him. He is prompt to attend you. I never knew what it was to have a real cleaning until I started to go to Dr. Lee. I am glad I found his office!

I loveeeee this place. I can’t wait to get my dental insurance so I can come here officially! I accompanied my boyfriend here last time for cleaning and everyone was super professional and friendly. I know I know, it wasn’t my personal experience with Dr. Lee, but I made sure to ask for every detail afterwards. My bf has been soo bad with his teeth, I was so sure he had at least 10 cavities and 5 root canals. Turns out he didn’t have any root canals and only a few cavities :p Oh well. Lost that bet. Anyway, I first went there alone to see if they accepted his insurance. They were completely fine with me just loitering in their waiting area, while I tried to get more information about his insurance. After finding out that they did indeed accept it, they allowed me to make an appointment just one hour later, which was perfect. When we actually came at 3PM for our appointment, we had to fill out a quick form and then Dr. Lee brought him inside right away. From what he said, Dr. Lee was very gentle and made sure nothing hurt when he was pushing on certain spots. Since it was his first appointment in several years, a lot of cleaning and investigating had to be done. Dr. Lee was patient and did a wonderful job. The sweet girl at the front desk also offered me drinks while I waited for over an hour. They had a huge selection too, including the Starbucks Fraps that I love. Bethesda Dental has won me over. I didn’t think I’d like a dental place so much, especially based on my past experiences. While I can’t really review the dental work itself, I really did love all the little things they offered. Plus their office is beautiful, albeit small and cozy. I really hope that Bethesda will continue honoring their appointments on time since that is really one of my biggest pet peeves with dentistry. While they are not that popular now, I’m pretty sure it will get crowded in the future. But 5 stars for now!

My first visit at Bethesda Dental for general visit.  Scheduling was easy and able to make appointment within one week.  Staff were very nice and called to confirm appointment.  Upon arrival, did not have to wait, except while completing my paperwork.  X-rays were done prior to meeting with Dr. Lee.  He did the cleaning himself and it was one of the most comfortable I have had at any office.  He advised me of what other work needed to be done and I did not feel pressured to do any non-urgent procedures.

Dr. Lee and his staff are excellent! As my general dentist he’s been taking care of my teeth since I graduated. He always makes sure that I understand what’s gonna happen before each procedure (the latest being a tricky wisdom tooth extraction) and explains in details about the to-do’s afterwards. Really appreciate all the good work

A friend of mine recommended Bethesda Dental to me as I’ve been looking for a new dentist for quite some time now.  I cannot tell you how thrilled I am with my new dentist!!  When I got there, I was asked if I’d like to use the massage chair for a few minutes or if I’d be interested in a beverage.  I don’t know about you, but I don’t remember ever being so well treated in a doctor’s office before.  Very pleasant office and staff.  As for Dr. Lee, I found him very knowledgeable, very throrough and most of all, very gentle.  What’s also great is how close they are located to my office.  No more having to take days off from work for doctor appts.  I just walk over during my lunch break and that’s it.  I really am very happy I met Dr. Lee.  I’ve never said this before, but I look forward to my next dentist  appt!!  Thank you to you and your staff.  You took a lot of my anxiety away.

Dr. Lee and his staff are great. Very professional and it is clear that Dr. Lee is incredibly knowledgeable. He is also really concerned with his patients’ comfort which is important – he really puts me at ease in that chair. 😉 They are also great about making sure to let you know what services are covered by your insurance. I highly recommend Dr. Lee!

Sam fixed most of the teeth and did extensive surgery on a tooth extracting Cyst. Best dentist I’ve ever have been a patient of. To date post moving to west coast, some of the best rated dentist here don’t come close to careful prognosis and treatment that Dr.Lee provided

I can honestly say that I look forward to seeing Dr. Lee and his wonderful staff. Everyone is very welcoming and his office is very comfortable like an extension of your living room with the addition of a beautiful aquarium. Dr. Lee is a warm personality and makes sure you are taken care of as both a person and a patient. I normally have anxiety going to the dentist stemming from my childhood but at Bethesda I know I’m being taken care of by the best. I had my wisdom tooth extracted and despite my tooth being very firmly rooted in my mouth, I left with minimal pain and swelling.

I am truly amazed by how professional and knowledgeable Dr. Lee is. He is truly talented and knows how talk to difficult patients like me and build my trust, as a patient of his. It also helped that he was referred by TWO people. Now my bf also goes to this facility. Fun Fact: I have fallen asleep during my difficult root canal….. At least twice during each session. The rest of the staff is great. So personable, fun and easy to talk to.

Bethesda dental is different. When I came in, their interior design was very nice. Great view, warm atmosphere. Dr. Lee was the best dentist I ever had. I had some cavities, and he took care of it without any pain. I strongly recommend Dr. Lee for people who scared of dentist. 🙂

Dr. Lee is great! My appointments always start on time so I’m in and out. He has great bedside manner and is really efficient in all of the procedures. The people at the front desk are also really nice! That’s such a change from other offices where they just bark at you to fill out a form. Additionally, he has this really cool 360 X-ray in the office.

Much to my chagrin, I’ve gotten a lot of work done on my teeth over my lifetime.  So I’ve been to a myriad of dentists.  Bethesda Dental has by far the most pleasant office and a great staff (which are important if you have or had a bit of dental phobia, like me). Dr. Lee gets the highest marks on skill, communication and care.  I am always confident in his work and decisions on procedures.  He tells you what’s going on at every step and does everything with gentleness.  I actually enjoy going to the dentist now.  Weird.

Dr. Lee truly cares of patient’s wellbeing. He sent me reminders to schedule periodic check up. (Though it kept on slipping my mind a couple of times, it did not stop.) He actually remembers the person and I feel he is one of the doctor whom one can build good doctor-patient relationship with in long term.

Both Dr. Lee and his assistant are very nice. They really try their best to make it a pleasant experience every time. I also like the design of the place, and new technologies (such as filling the forms with iPad) they use. This part of the review is written over one year latter. I am still very impressed with the service and experience there. Dr Lee is specially patient. I never had a better dentist.
