I found Dr. Dunlop on Instagram from all places, I live few hours away from his clinic so you can imagine it wasn’t easy coming to treatment and coming back every time. Some treatments like my surgery required an over night stay in Fresno so I can make it on time for my 8 AM appointment. I wore a denture for 18 years, mostly due to having seen dentists with no integrity after diagnosed with juvenile periodontitis. What differentiates Dr. Dunlop from the rest are two things (mostly) 1. He has integrity (which makes it comfortable to let him sedate you among other things such as offering ng you the most suitable treatment. 2. He’s offering an in-house lab, now, if you didn’t need a lab before you do not know why it’s so important, price-wise, and comfortable on a whole new level, not to mention the materials and technology invested in his clinic. 3. He’s truly talented. I’m very happy with the results and with the care and aftercare, I received. The doctor and staff were there to help me find a hotel when needed, send medication to my preferred pharmacy. The treatment coordinator was always there for me to go over everything as many times as I needed. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Fast, friendly and a lifesaver. My surgery date is in October for a dental procedure and I recently had 3 crowns fall off with 2 weeks, 2 of them being in the front 1 day apart. I work in public service and my smile is the first thing people see. I called yesterday office staff was able to get men in the next day at 4:00 I walked out 2 hrs later with 2 teeth added to my existing partial. The office closes at 5 and they stayed just to get this done. I love this practice!! The whole office is filled with the most professional workers who want you to feel safe and comfortable. I am a full time college student who needed to get in as soon as possible because once I go back to school I wouldn’t have time, they found time in their tight schedule to help me. It’s been over a week since my implants were delivered/placed. And again Dr D was right on the money. Due to the fact of not having any lower left bottom molars, things took a while to become natural. Like not biting the side of my tongue and cheek, just little things in the big scheme. So my story! I had been let down, over promised, not given complete information therefore making what seemed to be good decisions however in the long run they were bad from several reputable dentists’ in the last 20 years – that happened for 12 years. The remaining 8 years I just refused to go to the dentist, no cleanings nadda! First meeting Dr D, he was very direct, knowledgeable and confident stating his skills with no problem saying where he draws the line. Right there, that spoke volumes to me, and no it’s not that easy to win me over. Together we set a game plan, he answered all my questions on my level and professional. Not as a Dr. speaking down to me with words that left me wondering what the hell are we talking about. Dr D and his entire staff are open, truly kind, compassionate & caring individuals. I actually have felt, they want to know the answers to the questions they ask. Unfortunately that is not found easily, however it is in abundance at Better Life Center for Implant and General Dentistry. I feel I received extraordinary service and if you are looking for a better dental experience, what are you waiting for?!

My father needed a full mouth restoration with implants and spent nearly a year extensively researching reasonably priced and competent dentists throughout the Central Valley and Southern California. Fortunately, he found Dr. Ryan Dunlop at his new practice in our hometown of Fresno, CA. After an initial thorough consultation, we were able to work out a solid treatment plan for a reasonable price. I have never seen such a compassionate, caring and talented dentist like Dr. Ryan DUnlop. His staff consists of the most caring and efficient office staff I have ever encountered. They really do put the patients first in every way. I had a 9/10 difficulty case with jaw misalignment, root resorption in numerous teeth, and some chipped/broken teeth. I went to a local dentist who said the case was too difficult for him to handle and he researched the best option for me which turned out to be Dr. Dunlop. I ended up traveling across state lines numerous times for consults and appointments and ended up having a full upper arch reconstruction with an all on 6 surgery as well as two lower implants on teeth that were resorbing. It was a tough process with a lot of moving parts, especially traveling and having surgery, but luckily the end product made it all worth it. I never actually thought I’d have a perfect smile with all the issues I had, but Dr. Dunlop did a great job with the surgery and the making and fitting of the prosthetic. My only negative criticism would have to be that it seems like the offices administrative staff can be a bit difficult to work with at times and they don’t always seem to communicate with Dr. Dunlop when you ask them questions, or if you have been told one thing by Dr. Dunlop and his staff isn’t aware of the situation. It’s not something that deserves a reduction in rating, because at the end what matters is my satisfaction with the work I had done.

I highly recommend Dr. Dunlop for any dentistry needs you may have. I had all on four top and bottom dental implants done with the upper all on four procedure in July 2020 and the Lowers done in October, 2020 . I had looked at several different Dentists that specialize in dental implants and wanted to pick a Dentist that had did many Implants and when I came across Dr. Dunlop’s website I was impressed by his background and his work. I scheduled a consultation and felt confident I chose the best Dentist for what I was wanting to get done. Both my procedures went very well I felt very comfortable with Dr. Dunlop doing my surgeries. His knowledge of Dental implants was impressive not only does he do implant surgery he teaches other dentists the technique of Dental implants that fly from all over the US to come and learn from him. I was blessed to meet some of them as I participated in some of his training classes. I felt comfortable with the IV sedation he used I went to sleep and woke up comfortable with teeth in my mouth. His assistants are amazing as well they definitely have been trained well and are very kind and compassionate! I’m Thankful to have found Dr. Dunlop and his team you won’t be disappointed in choosing this Office. If I had to do it all over again I would choose Better life dental each time. I went to Dr. Dunlop today after seeing his commercials on TV and being referred to him by my neighbor. To be honest my last dentist was like a Bush pilot, ramming and jamming metal into my mouth. You would think anything would be better than that. It was fantastic. This was the least painful and actually pleasant experience you could have at the dentist. Also known as Better Life Center, the proprietor Dr. Dunlop is THE best dentist I have gone to in my life. That is saying a lot since I am 55 years old and have been to 5 or 6 dentists in my lifetime. First of all, their office is welcoming with a Keurig in the waiting area. Second, my experience is that the wait time to be taken back is approximately 5-15 minutes after your appointment time, which I find exceptional. Third, Dr. Dunlop explains everything to you, using your xrays as a visual aid, so you know EXACTLY what is going on and what the options are. Fourth, Laurie explained to me what would happen regarding the steps of the procedure, how the financials would be handled, preop and postop instructions, so I knew EXACTLY what was going to happen. Oh, and because they didn’t have an opening for 3 weeks for my specific procedure, they right then and there, called someone and reorganized the schedule for a day 10 days out for me. Talk about personal service. Fifth, although Dr. Dunlop does sedation dentistry, I opted to have my extraction and implant under local anesthesia. I made it through without problems. Dunlop must have some special state of the art drills because there was no loud grinding in my head. The dental assistant was the BEST I have ever experienced, suctioning with the aspirator to where I never felt that I had to swallow gunk. This is the first time ever that I didn’t have to swallow during a procedure. My mouth was kept clean and I was as comfortable as I could be given the circumstances. I would stake my life on this recommendation.

I have had anxiety and panic attacks associated with any dentist office for at least 15 years. It is because of this reason that a lot of dental treatment I need has gone undone. My past trauma has been so high that I have blocked a lot of it out. I just recently found out that at one point I was chaced around an office by dental hygienists at some point in my childhood because I freaked out and jumped out of the chair. When I first found Dr. Dunlap I was hesitant as I always am with new dentist, but before I even went in for my consultation I researched. I watched his CBS special to get a feel for his voice because I am blind. I researched so much that by the time I went in for my consultation I felt like I knew everyone. I can’t remember a time in my life where I felt no anxiety, no panic, just calm and relaxed from the time I step into an office to the time I leave. I can’t remember the last time I smiled and laughed in an examination chair. My journey compared to what most get done at his office is relatively small and is only starting, but I think I found the perfect home for my oral health. I can’t express how much of a relief it is to know that I am in such good hands and can feel safe and confident with the care I am receiving. I recommend Dr. Dunlap and his team to anyone, and especially anyone who not only has issues with their oral health but mental health. If your mental health has prevented you from getting the oral health care you need, go see Dr. Dunlap and his team. I promise you you won’t regret it. 🙂
