I’ve been to quite a few dentists over the years and let me just say Dr. Lieu is, by far, the best. Probably most importantly, she gets the job done while being gentle about it.  Who knew a dentist would pay such attention to patient comfort?!  ::) Second, there was no up-selling.  I’ve been to more than one dentist where I felt like I was buying a used car.  Between loading up on services and smooth (so they thought) finance departments, all you want to do is run.  Dr. Lieu and her staff are straight-forward with no games.  Very refreshing. Yes… as good as it gets

I’ve been going here for years! I love the staff here: everyone is so friendly and efficient. Dr. Lieu is super friendly and even when I know they might be running late, I never feel like I’m being rushed out and all my questions always get answered. I’ve had rushed appointments where I needed to see someone ASAP, and they were able to see me the next day. It’s out of my way, to be honest, but I wouldn’t trade it for a closer dentist office. The ONLY TIME I’ve ever felt disappointed is when I got a whitening session done here. The whitening gel burned my gums so bad I had to stop the session early. I was told my teeth would “feel sensitive”, but I didn’t think my gums would be chemically burned by the bleach so much I’d have to tap out. And it wasn’t cheap, so I was disappointed they wouldn’t let me do the last session another day. They did give me a very small discount, since I didn’t finish. But I’ve done professional whitening before and didn’t have this issue. Maybe it’s just the type of whitening? But that’s the only time I’ve ever had a less than stellar appointment. Parking can be found on Orange, the next street over, no problem

I highly recommend Dr. Lieu! She accommodated me even though I showed horribly late for my appointment! She’s honest and doesn’t push unnecessary procedures. The best part, she helped entertain my toddler while I had my x-rays done. Both my son and I had a great experience. He even got a free baby toothbrush that he was really happy about! 🙂

Been a patient here for a few years and cannot see myself going anywhere else. The staff has always been very friendly and feel as though I have gotten to know some of them even though I only see them 2 hours out of the year. Dr. Lieu was even nice enough to offer recommendations for a trip to New York that I have coming up. Aside from their great dentistry services and “bedside manner”, great group of people all around

Been going here for years now and the staff is always wonderful but this time they were EXTRA awesome!!! I went in for what I thought was going to be emergency but turned out it wasn’t. They didn’t make me feel shamed or dumb for being preventative. They were clear and made sure I had all the information I needed moving forward. PLUS everyone was so friendly and happy and fun!!

Okay, this is my first review here on Yelp, and I feel that Dr. Lieu deserves it, tremendously! First off, I have been deathly afraid of the dentist for YEARS! But, I had a toothache that HAD to be taken care of! So, I researched here on Yelp and low and behold I saw some amazing reviews about Dr. Lieu. So, I made a call and set up an appointment. Walking into the lobby of the office is very welcoming. You are greeted by the office manager Shaunte, who is very sweet and professional. I was taken in the back and THE VIEW is AMAZING! You can see the Hollywood sign, the observatory, pretty much most of LA and Hollywood. That right there was the selling point! Dr. Lieu and I talked about what I needed to get done. As many people have said on here she does not pressure you to do anything, she recommends what she feels is right but, never pressures you. Which was just another thing that made me feel much more at ease! (Don’t forget, I was scared to death of dentists!) Dr. Lieu is amazing, and I feel that anyone who is like me, or who needs to go to a dentist. Go see Dr. Lieu, you won’t regret it!!

I love Dr Lieu and her medical staff. That being said, her over amped  marketing strategy is totally annoying. I am sure it makes her more money, but if I wasn’t a legacy patient I think I would be turned off by the aggressiveness of it all. She personally is good at her job and her hygienist  is totally painless. I have had a ton of dental work done over the years so I know the difference. I say go there.. and tell them to just cool the retros. I got 10 appointment reminders. LOL … about 9 too many. At this point I think she has enough good reviews to take down the fake ones

I’ve been going to Beverly Grove for about 1 1/2 years now. I had the same dentist for 23+ years back in NY and loved him. Since moving out to LA 6 years ago, I tried 2 different dentists that I was very unhappy with. I’m so happy to have found Dr. Donna Lieu and her team. Everyone I’ve talked to in their office is very friendly and helpful. They have Netflix in every room while you’re getting a cleaning or dental work. Once they even gave me a lavender scented, heated shoulder wrap which was very nice. After each cleaning they give you a dental gift bag which is great for travel or to keep at work. They have a great referral program where you can give a gift card to a friend, they’ll either get credit on their account (and you get credit too!) or a free sonic toothbrush. They’re all very thorough and gentle, and have never pushed me to get unnecessary work done. They do digital X-rays for instant results and explain what they’re looking at. They also keep notes on your file for a personal touch. For example, I got engaged last year and they noticed my ring and asked about how he proposed, when we are getting married, etc. When I went back today they asked how wedding planning was going. It’s a little step but goes a long way for a personal relationship with their clients. Highly recommended

I have been coming here several years and the team at Beverly Grove are fantastic! I have never met a kinder, gentler group of dentists and hygienists!! I have been coming here for cleanings for years, and even had periodontal surgery through them. They are very reasonably priced and super painless! Plus, you can watch Netflix while they clean your teeth. I’m a super big dental wimp, but Beverly Grove is the BEST!!! Highly recommend!

I was really excited to find a new dentist in my neighborhood that came highly recommended by a friend… until they told me that the only way to fix my chipped front tooth was to spend $5000 veneering all 4 of my front teeth. Yikes! So i turned to yelp and had a couple of consultations and ended up deciding to work with Dr. Lieu. She became my choice for several reasons.  First of all, her staff was extremely responsive, accommodating, and informative throughout the appointment setup process. They were also warm friendly upon arrival and I waited maybe 5 minutes to see the doctor (who apologized for the “wait”.) Dr. Lieu was the only dentist I’ve ever met who I felt gave me honest opinions without the motivation of up-selling. She wasn’t the least expensive but she also wasn’t the most expensive. I decided she was the only one I trusted with my smile. My appointment for the veneer fitting was one of the better dentist experiences I’ve had in my life. Their equipment is state of the art and I was even able to watch a movie while she worked, making the hour and a half go by so fast! The day after I got a voicemail from Dr. Lieu checking to make sure that I was ok. Two weeks later, my permanent veneer is on and my smile has been forever changed. My search for the perfect dentist is over!
