On the second day of my family vacation to San Antonio my crown fell out. With four days remaining in my trip. I thought to myself. I would ruin my trip if I don’t get this fixed ASAP. I yelped dentist walk ins. Randomly chose bluebonnet family dental. I called at 9 am and the person that answered the phone was amazing. I explained my situation to her and she told me to come in at 11 am. I got there at 1040am. I got to the window. I received paperwork to fill out. Got it done in 5 mins. Before I could even sit down they called me in. A nice lady took my x ray then the dentist came to explain it to me. The nice lady and the dentist engage in small talk with me while cementing my crown. They gave a bunch of places to Get good food (I went to Melendez for Mexican food ) Bbq places and pizza spots. The crown job was done(Great job by the way) but the conversation wasn’t. The rest of the staff chimed in (I even got a piece of paper with a list of places to go to). I said thank you for all the help and while walking out the door thought to myself wow what a place and experience. So I’m getting in my car and I get a call from bluebonnet family dental telling me they have cement for my crown just in case it comes off again. This office  went above and beyond for me. Very comfortable. Cindy did a great job with my cleaning. X-rays were uncomfortable but I have a very small mouth area. I hadn’t been to the dentist in about four years, partially due to Covid but also a prior traumatizing experience at another dentist. I appreciate the television above the dentist chair, it definitely helped to calm my anxiety. No issues were found and the dentist was helpful explaining my teeth sensitivity and when to call if it becomes a problem.

I love this place! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, Cindy has been my hygienist for years and I won’t go to anyone else, and Dr. Sumner was a breath of fresh air, very thorough, and answered every question I had. I definitely recommend this place!!

I had a few reservations about having a dental implant. I mainly had concerns about how painful it would be & the overall healing process long-term…YIKES!! Dr. Sumner and the BLUEBONNET FAMILY DENTAL team are absolutely awesome! They were courteous, supportive, professional, & they ensure that the patient is well informed both medically and administratively of what to expect from start to finish. During the consultation phase, they went above and beyond to ensure that I fully understood all aspects of the treatment process (i.e. gum health, ordering of temporary partial, the implant procedure, & the healing process); to include the “pros” and “cons” associated with this medical recommendation. During the recent pandemic, I have witnessed many unsafe practices in various medical settings as “the patient”. So, it was also very reassuring to actually witness quality safety practices within the clinic (i.e. hand washing, the availability of hand sanitizer, masks being properly worn, etc.). I’m grateful for their professionalism & attention to detail. I would definitely refer friends and family to this practice in the future.

Nice, friendly and welcoming environment. Each time I go, I’m treated like I’m the only patient there. They answer every question and assure that I know what’s going on. The Dentist and hygienist are gentle and very thorough. When I leave my appointment, I’m always satisfied. I recommend Texas Blue Bonnet to all of my family and friends that doesn’t have a dentist already or looking to make a change

No waiting. I went straight to the patient room without having to take a seat in the lobby. Service is professional, with consideration given to health of the patient and staff. Dental cleaning is first rate as it always has been. All the staff are friendly and greet each patient with a smile. I highly recommend Bluebonnet.

We love Dr Sumner. We had been shopping dentists closer to our home but no one compared to Dr Sumner. My husband is a big baby and Dr Sumner made him feel very comfortable. He is very gentle, doesn’t hurt me. I recently had a dental emergency and had to call him while he was on vacation. He took care of prescribing some antibiotics, to get rid the infection. And we love his staff, we have known Becky forever and she and Angela are always quick to take care of anything we need. I think you would love him.

This team is THE BEST!!  These folks have been seeing me VERY frequently over the last fourteen months (or so) and have continued to provide expert and compassionate care with a professional standard rarely experienced in today’s dental world.  I have continued to be the beneficiary of that kind of care since my very first meeting with Dr. Sumner and the rest of the team.  Anyone seeking top tier care, I strongly recommend Bluebonnet Family Dental.

Felt very comfortable, friendly staff and Dr Sumner provided good care and concern. He was not pushy, gave me options on my treatment plan and allowed me to choose. Very affordable and honest in there fees. Found my new family dentist and recommending Bluebonnet to all my family and friends.

I went for my dental appointment, and as always I got seen right away. I got my teeth cleaned by Cindy, which has always done a very good job. All of the staff there makes you feel comfortable and are very professional at what they do. They’re dental office is nice and clean. They are easy to speak to, and most of all, Dr. Adam Sumner does a great job. I give Dr. Adam Sumner and his staff a 5 star rating, and I would highly recommend Bluebonnet Family Dental to anyone!

Had to bring my two year old in! I was dreading it! But, everyone remained professional and I was able to get through a cleaning with my daughter. Only due to the staff being very understanding and friendly.The Assistant who did my cleaning did an amazing job. She also did an amazing job quickly taking my images as my daughter waited outside the room.The dentist verified my records and explain everything so well. Overall very pleasant experience. Even got some goodies to take home for me and baby.

Hands down the best dental office we have ever visited! They are excellent with my 8 year old son and make sure to take care of us at every visit! Dr. Sumner is great and very willing to educate with any issues or questions we may have. We are a military family, so if you’re looking for an office to care for you, please visit Bluebonnet Dental.
