Dr. Ririe called to apologize they had not been clearer on the overall price. They are used to sorting out prices by codes which the dental insurance carriers will accept. I had no dental insurance and he acknowledged he should have done a better job of making the whole price evident upfront. I am not forsaking him as a dentist. I have myself a root canal and a new crown which will be required and he will do it. Dr. Robert Ririe has been our dentist for over 20 years.The staff at Baypoint Dental are friendly and professional. Their work and services are top notch. Unfortunately lately so are their prices. My wife had an abcess and had to have an emergency root canal. They got her in the same day she called. I have no qualms about the treatment she received. It was great. But I am rather dismayed, rather angry, at their pricing. After paying nearly $1100 for the root canal I was informed it would cost another $267 to seal the root canal because it was necessary to drill through a crown to perform it. I mean really when is sealing a procedure an additional expense? This experience has left a very bad taste to an otherwise professional experience.

For too long I’d avoided dentists because too many have been just “drill and fill”. I spent plenty of time researching dentists and then received a referral from my functional medicine practitioner, and decided on Dr Ririe and team at Boise Integrative Dentistry. And … I’m very happy with the professional service I received. Extra precautions were taken to remove 2 cracked mercury amalgam fillings and the results were fantastic and the procedure was virtually painless! Highly recommended.

When my regular dentist said an old silver oxide (?) filling was starting to crack and wanted to put a crown on, I wondered if there was anything less invasive that could be tried first and contacted Integrative Dentistry for a second opinion. They gave me two more options–try taking out the old filling and put a new one in or an onlay which would cut away much less of the good part of my tooth (unlike a crown, which would cut away a lot more of the tooth). I loved the fact that they did not pressure me into having one thing done, but gave me options. Very nice & professional & refilled my tooth for much less in both cost & discomfort than a crown would have been. As excellent an experience at a dentist as a person could have!!!

I’d give 10 stars if I could!! My family & I have been patients of Dr. Bruce, Dr. Dan & Dr. Ririe for years. They do such great work, answer all my question and want the best outcome for any procedure being done. Very knowledgeable, professional and kind. The front office is warm and welcoming and have done a great job working with my very busy schedule! Have enjoyed Jen and all the dental assistants, hygienist they all are great. The Salazar Family will continue being patients for years to come!

I went to Bay Pointe Dental in Boise today for my first visit. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome. I was impressed with how Dr. Ririe explained things in detail and made sure I understood what was going on. He also talked to me about a few things he felt needed to be taken care of with my teeth and showed me pictures and then respectfully gave me all of the options and let me decide what and when I wanted to get it done. I also am very concerned about doing things in as healthy a way as possible, so I’m really glad I found this dentist office that integrates some more natural things in with their dental techniques.

I cannot even think of finding a new dentist. They are worth driving the 400+ miles just for an appointment. The ladies that have been fixing my teeth, have done a phenomenal job. I have had so mand dentists mess up my teeth more then they fix them, but that isnt the case here. When they fix a tooth, its fixed for the long term. Thank you all for everything you do!

I have been going to this dentist group for about 10 years. Everyone is great. I can’t believe the negative comment about the reception desk. Junie is by far the best physician receptionist and scheduler I’ve ever come across (friendly, warm, easy going, not rushed and consistent). Anyway, Tammy is great in terms of regular cleanings. And, Brie is super friendly and helpful. Finally, Dr. Bruce is fantastic (a very calming and professional person that really makes you feel like your going to get the best care available anywhere). I can’t say enough good things about this office. And, you can trust my positive review. I’m a small business owner in Boise that has no tolerance for bad products or service and no other connections to this office other than as a patient.

I broke a crown in half and it was nearly closing time. I called the downtown location, which is where I usually go, but Dr. Ririe was going to be at the Ustick office the next day. The receptionist was able to squeeze me in the next morning for a “look-see” at that office since she had access to the schedule at both locations. When I arrived, Dr. Ririe was able prep for a new crown anyway, going back and forth to his previously scheduled patients and working me into the schedule so I wouldn’t have to come back. Since I was looking forward to having Valentine’s Day dinner with my husband this week, I was immensely grateful to get a temporary crown on! I have a long relationship with this office and this kind of service is part of the reason why.

Heather Lyons is an awesome Dental Hygienist. She always greets me with a smile, and does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth. At my last visit, she had to numb my mouth in preparation for the Dentist to replace a couple very old fillings. I hate getting shots in my mouth, but Wow, I was so pleased with the painless procedure she used. I appreciate the friendly an professional staff, and especially Heather Lyons, and Dr. Ririe at Bay Pointe Dental.

Never been excited about going to the dentist. Bay Pointe has made that experience as good as it can possibly be. Dan Bruce is great, explains options clearly and offers helpful suggestions regarding my dental care. I really like all of the staff people I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Dr. Ririe and his assistant were fantastic. Every part of the procedure was explained to me while replacing two crowns. They make the experience comfortable and painless. I switched to Dr. Ririe/Boise Integrative Dentistry after a poor experience with another local dentist. I am so happy with my decision and I am 100% confident that I made the right choice going with this office. I can’t speak to the other dentists at this practice (though I am sure they are all great), but Dr. Ririe is absolutely fantastic. He is conservative and only suggests treatment when it is completely necessary (and even then he adds things like “well technically you don’t have to do this, but it is what we recommend at this point”). He put a couple fillings in two of my rear molars, and I have NEVER in my life had a dentist put so much time, care, and effort into tooth restorations (and I have a lot of fillings in my teeth)!!! Many dentists seem to just want to get the restoration(s) done and move on to their next patient, but Dr. Ririe would not let me leave until they were as good as he could possibly get them – “I don’t want to come back here for a long time” he said as he was making sure they were perfect. On top of all that, he will always take as much time as needed to answer all your questions with detailed and not rushed answers. I have been to quite a few dentists in my life and Boise Integrative is one of the best, if not the best I have ever been to. Sure, some other offices might be quicker in some ways, but when dealing with (oral) health, quality of care should ALWAYS be of higher priority than time. With Boise Integrative, you are getting extremely high-quality care, hands down.

I took my 6 month old daughter to see Dr. Ririe and Dr. Rosa for a consultation for a tongue and lip tie revision, and it was a wonderful experience. Dr. Ririe was very gentle with her, and made me feel very comfortable and didn’t pressure me into feeling like I need to do anything right this second. When I decide to go through with the procedure, I will definitely be going back!

This was my first time to see the Boise Downtown Dental team. As a new patient, they were very thorough in understanding my personal concerns regarding my oral health and how to proceed to accomplish my goal of keeping my teeth as long as possible. This was my first visit to Dr. Ririe and it was an excellent visit. I normally hate going to dentists, but Dr. Ririe and his staff made the whole experience quite pleasant. I have never had a dentist spend so much time assessing and evaluating the general health of my mouth. A proposed treatment plan was thoroughly discussed and all my questions were answered in detail. The proposed plan with predicted cost minus my insurance was given to me at the end of my visit. Wow! No surprises here! Thanks for great service, a friendly environment and your professional advice. I never thought I would say this, but I am actually looking forward to my next visit :-).
