I selected Boston Dental because they had the soonest appointment on ZocDoc and I had a time sensitive issue. They were AWESOME. Great, clear COVID policies, extremely nice staff, and Dr. Kim’s exam and explanations were clear and he showed a true interested in listening to my concern.

I had an amazing experience today with Dr. Kim. I had a root canal done and this was by far my best dentist visit in life! He was funny and very thorough with my treatment. There was no wait time and the receptionist (lady at the front) who also worked on me was very polite, pleasant, calm and efficient! They had me in and out very quickly and most importantly explained every step of my treatment plan with me. He made sure I completely understood what and why he was doing what he was doing! He earned a new patient today! Thank you all so much again! He is definitely worth every penny!

Dr. Kim was excellent! He thoroughly explained the anatomy of my teeth by walking me through my X-rays. He was very patient. Constantly checking in to make sure I was okay during my teeth cleaning. Both him and his assistant offered a welcoming and relaxing environment. Never met a dentist like him before. Highly recommend!

New patient and I arrived 30 minutes late to my first appointment. I hate being tardy, but DC traffic + torrential rains got the best of me. I was the last appointment on a Friday, and although I called at my appointment time telling them I am trying to get to the office, instead of insisting that I reschedule, the lady on the phone told me to come in and not to worry. I was deeply apologetic upon arrival, but the two assistants and even Dr. Kim told me just take a seat and take my time to fill out the paperwork, no rush, although I was the only patient in the office. To top everything off, I had to bring my one year old son with me, who normally would just sit in the portable car that I brought with us, but after sitting in traffic for 90 minutes, he was not having it. HOwever, one of the assistants took him and pushed around while I had my cleaning. All in all, Dr. Kim is extremely professional, knowledgable, patient, and kind. The facility is spotlessly clean, probably the most sanitary doctor’s office I have ever been to. They really went above and beyond for me. And his assistants are gems. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Kim to me and I’d definitely recommend him to others. You won’t be sorry.

Dr. Kim and his colleague Dr. You were truly incredible and down to earth. I have never had such wonderful care taken of me. I cannot day enough nice things about this office! From start to finish was absolutely amazing. This is my dentist from now on! Love them!!!

The dentist and all his staff on duty were very professional and they took good care of me during my appointment. I went for annual check up and cleaning. Everything went as expected even beyond. The dentist explained to me in details my teeth condition send me home with a smile and a goodie bag with toothbrush, toothpaste and floss string kit. I felt like I am 10 years old and leaving the dentist office with gifts 😀 Thank you so much for the great experience! Definitely recommended!

Dr. Kim is an excellent dentist! He explained what was happening, what he was doing, and why he was doing it with great detail and knowledge. He made next steps clear, but made sure to emphasis that I have to make the final decisions according to what makes sense to me. I have been to three different dentists in the past year who have all failed miserably. I drove 40 minuets out of my way and will continue to do so, as he is the best in the business. To top it off his supporting staff is just as amazing! They were kind, efficient, and worked well together as a team. I recommend Dr. Kim to all looking for a dentist, you will not be disappointed!

It was amazing I honestly hate going to the dentist but he already saw from the beginning that I was nervous and I usually get anxiety but he talked to thru everything step by step and made me feel really comfortable and i didn’t feel a thing so it was a great visit I highly recommend going to see Sung J Kim.

Dr. Kim and his team are quick, efficient and friendly. They offer weekend hours which is wonderful and they also provide future recommendations (orthodontics, night guards, etc) without pressuring you so you can decide when to get things done at your convenience. My husband and I both love going to Boston Dental for our dental needs.

Dr. Kim is amazing, he’s very patient and he explains you everything step-by-step. He’s perfect for young millenials, too, because he’s willing to explain insurance-related questions and stuff.He even shows you the xrays and pictures through the flat screen in front of the chair! I really appreciate the transparency by explaining to me what’s happening and steps I can do to fix it. He doesn’t push unnecessary operations because he does give you options and pros and cons of each one. I also like that he’s nice but he doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He will tell you if you’re doing something wrong with your routine and tell you how to fix it! Will definitely visit again. He makes you comfortable!

This is my second visit with Dr. Kim. I have extensive dental work to be done over time and have selected Dr. Kim to do it all. He explains in thorough detail, including showing you too on the picture monitor, exactly what he will be doing. He is also very compassionate with those who have a phobia going to the dentist. Which is me!
