I have been going to Dr. Richard Bowen since 1972 and he taken such good care of my teeth for that long! They are always very friendly and accommodating and while I am being treated, they make sure I am comfortable as possible and even go out of their way to do so. I recommend this dentist very highly!

I recently started going to Bowen Legacy after trying to find a holistic dentist that focused on overall health. I’ve been so happy with the experience so far as the staff is so helpful, positive, and transparent. I feel like I have time to ask questions and get a true understanding for what’s going on and what the next steps are.

After 3 different round of braces and jaw surgery years ago, I did not want to go down the same route again to ease my jaw pain. I researched other options to get to the root cause of the problems. I found Bowen Legacy offered the care I was looking for. I am currently working with Kristen who is helping me with therapy for my jaw. I appreciate their efforts to help me avoid surgery again if possible. Each time I’ve been in the office, I have shared other concerns with my teeth. Dr. Bowen always takes the time to listen, make suggestions and help me with my concerns. I am very appreciate of the care I’ve received at Bowen Legacy Dental. Thank you, Dr. Bowen, Kristen and Jackie for going above and beyond.

My family moved to Columbus recently and was looking for a family Dentistry. I searched and asked ones in my community for help as I was facing some discomfort with one of my teeth. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment for myself and family. When I walked in today, I was greeted by everyone. The x-ray, cleaning and the follow-up appointment were all a wonderful experience. I felt cared for and not rushed in anyway. Dr. Bowen, Kara took the time to explain everything as well as the hygienist. I’m looking forward to my next appointment.

Highly highly recommend! I’ve seen a lot of dentists and had a lot of work done, but this is by far the best dentist I have been to. Friendly staff and environment, everyone seems happy to be working there. I love walking into their office, they make you feel like part of their family. Dr. Bowen is fantastic, very caring and professional. He is repairing poor cosmetic dental work I had done years ago and just the temporary repairs he’s made look 100 times better!

FIVE STARS!! I’m sure there are a lot of great dentists around but you won’t find this kind of service at other practices. I always feel like I’m catching up with friends when I’m there for my cleanings and they always remember little details about myself and my family. A special touch was when they learned that my sons both required neurosurgery in NYC. They sent a card with build-a-bear coupons, and each of them still have their animals to remember how brave they were. You really remember the people that were supportive during a difficult time.

I was hesitant to see another dentist after experiencing dental trauma but the staff at Bowen Legacy Dental were able to ease my mind. They worked through my hesitation with me by asking specific questions prior to my visit. Dr. Bowen himself reached out to me and the receptionist was very helpful prior to my appointment. The office was easy to find. There is a beautiful salt water aquarium in the lobby. I did not have to wait to be seen. Immediately I was impressed by the education of the receptionist and dental assistant. They quickly diagnosed my dental issue that has caused me to turn away from other dentists. They asked me what I was hoping to accomplish during my first visit. This a family practice that is very warm, welcoming and compassionate. They incorporate nice touches into their practice. I received chap stic and a jar of honey that Dr. Bowen harvested himself (delicious). It truly is a legacy. My only regret is not finding them sooner. Finally, I am excited about going to the dentist.

Its been a great experience starting with the phone call to schedule my first exam. All of the staff are kind, courteous, and well educated. They are all focused on what they can do for the patient, promoting the best oral health while focusing on prevention first. Due to my odd schedule I have actually seen both hygienists and both dentists. Same high quality professional care no matter who was working with me. They make sure I understand exactly what is going on and all options available to me. I am grateful for their direct and honest approach. I would highly recommend this dental practice!

I just had the best experience I’ve ever had in a dental office. This was my first appointment at Bowen Legacy Dental and the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating at all levels. Kayla was my dental hygienist today and she was awesome, and Dr. Bowen seems like a nice dentist who genuinely cares about his patients. The ladies in reception and billing were equally as helpful. They even gave me a little jar of Dr. Bowen’s honey, since apparently he keeps his own bees. It’s the little things in life…I never thought I’d write a review for a dentist’s office on Google, but they sent a follow up email with a link to provide feedback and here I am. I really just had an awesome experience.

I never thought I could truly LOVE going to the dentist until I found this practice. Dental work can certainly be uncomfortable and provoke anxiety, but the kindness, care and concern of the entire team is so genuine that you want to be there. This is a true family practice that treats patients like members of the family too!
