The first person who greeted us was also the person who helped us work out the financials. She was super nice and made us feel comfortable. Dr. Ruth treated my son as an intelligent and capable teen and she discussed her expectations of oral hygiene and her strategies for fixing his severe overbite. This was impressive to me. She took her time and explained everything and her approach. She involved both of us and my son liked Dr. Ruth as much as I did. She was the only orthodontist who offered to help him with a few cosmetic issues that were important to him. And she did an amazing job. The braces were put on today. We called to talk about a “new brace” issue and they responded joyfully and kindly. The environment is upbeat. I also liked that she didn’t have a recent graduate Orthodontist helping us. We actually see Dr. Ruth each time.

Dr Ruth runs an excellent practice! The customer service is top notch. I was always greeted with a friendly smile from everyone. The office is well decorated and incredibly clean. I went there for Invisalign treatments and was always in and out within 30 minutes or less. I even moved to New York about 2 months before my treatment was scheduled to end. I am a fairly new federal employee. Picking insurance for us is a daunting task because we have so many choices. I knew that I wanted orthodontia, so I picked the first plan I saw with adult coverage. Little did I know, this plan only covers $1000. Dr. Ruth’s staff was so welcoming and knowledgeable! The financier knew exactly which federal dental plans covered the most for adult ortho and how much they covered just off the top of her head! So now I am waiting for open enrollment so that I can pick a better plan and get my braces covered at little to no cost to me. I’ve never really had an experience like that before. I was very pleased with my consultation. Plus Dr. Ruth told me I needed extractions and gave me referrals when I told her the first oral surgeon was too high. She advised me that these types of things are similar to budgeting for prescriptions and different doctors have different prices. It was a big help and I got my extractions done for almost half the original quoted cost.

Went for our initial consult. Arrived and the clinic was very busy, assumed we would be waiting forever but to my surprise things moved fast! Very friendly staff, on time, clean, efficient but never felt rushed. Left with all the information I needed in a well laid out plan with a level of detail I didn’t even expect. Days after moving to Nashville, my retainer was damaged and it was evident I would require a new one. Despite being a new resident of Nashville, I was able to schedule an appointment with Braces by Dr. Ruth in a short period of time for a replacement. The staff is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. There was a minor miscommunication with getting my retainer that the staff went above and beyond to resolve.
