Dr. McMurtry and staff are gracious and professional.  I had my teeth cleaned by Lee, and a mouth and throat assessment by Dr. McMurtry.  The procedures were pain free.  Service was prompt, friendly and thorough.  Dr. McMurtry is a Navy veteran.  I am proud of who he is as a person and how he manages his practice.  Everyone is friendly but efficient.  I will continue to have my dental care here.

We had a great experience getting our little boys ties revised! Dr Mcmurtary’s skills are outstanding! As a pediatric chiropractor, we see lots of babies with ties and revisions and dr Mcmurtary’s patients get great releases! I appreciated my experience from the mothers point of view, especially when doc told me “remember you are not doing this to your son, you are doing it FOR him”. Those words made every time of doing the stretches much better! Thank you for the great experience!

Dr. McMurtry performed tongue tied & lip tied procedure on my 6 day old son. He immediately latched on so much better & feedings weren’t painful for me anymore! Dr. McMurtry & staff was very professional & down to earth & explained every single thing that was done. It has been almost 4 months since this procedure & We know we made the right choice to have it done here!

If you are looking for a dentist this is the place to be.  Dr. McMurtry is a very caring and personable dentist.  My dental hygienist is Tessie and she is great.  No one likes to go to the dentist but we want to have pretty teeth.  They make it as painless as possible.  The office staff is very warm and greeting when you arrive.

Dr McMurtry and his staff are amazing. They made me feel comfortable immediately and explained the entire procedure to me from start, finish and post op procedures. I felt very comfortable with Dr McMurtry and would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for dental work. The staff was friendly. The environment was clean and the experience was great !! We drove all the way from Knoxville, TN. After much research, we knew Dr. McMurtry would be top notch for lip/tongue tie correction. My five month only baby needed both. He’s everything I hoped he would be…professional, knowledgeable, caring, and gentle. His staff is amazing!!! He was done with the procedure before we could even finish making the follow up appt. (which is included in the cost!) I’m so glad we took the time to make the extra effort to go to Charlotte. He was worth it!

I took my 20 month old and my 9 year old to Dr. McMurtry expecting both of them to have tongue ties released. He only recommended my 20 month old needed the procedure. He did suggest my 9 year old might need a lip tie released, but for now the orthodontia care she is receiving might be enough to keep her teeth from separating. He suggested a “wait and see” approach saying that is what he’d do if it was one of his children. This gave me great confidence that he wasn’t in it for the money. He could have easily convinced me to have both of my children taken care of, but he didn’t. Instead, he was professional. His entire staff was great. So thankful for them.

We took our 4 week old to Dr. McMurtry for a tongue tie revision. He also found a lip tie so we had both revised at once. We were VERY impressed with his knowledge, his bedside manner with our baby girl and the amount of time he spent with us showing us how to care for it afterwards. The staff was all very courteous and and the level of customer service was outstanding. Definitely the best to bring lip and tongue tie revisions to!

This was my first visit to his office. The entire staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. McMurtry explained what he found and what the next step would be. I must admit, I have high anxiety when I go to the dentist, and I did when I got there, but they eased my mind, and I left feeling comfortable and no stress. I’m not nervous about going back the next time!

I highly recommend Dr. McMurtry and his staff! He clearly communicates his expert knowledge in easy to understand language and makes sure all questions are answered before leaving. He stays up to date on the current research in the field. As a speech-language pathologist, I send many of my clients to him for his lip and tongue tie expertise. Also, personally as a mom, my own 2.5 year old toddler leaves Dr. McMurtry’s office smiling because of the caring and patient staff. Our hygienist made our recent experience so child friendly and FUN!

Dr. McMurtry and his staff were fabulous. They obviously know what they’re doing and were efficient and friendly in getting our little boy the treatment he needed. Months of feeding struggles are coming to an end as our little guy’s frenectomy went off without a hitch and has offered a new lease on feeding for our infant.

Dr. McMurtry is very competent, knowledgeable, and communicates well with his patients. You can tell he genuinely cares about you. The thing I love most about his work is how comfortable I am while he is working on my teeth. The laser technology he uses and other equipment make it the easiest, fastest, and most pain free dental work experience I’ve ever had. There was virtually no time needed at all for recovery, which means I could go to the dentist and then go right back to work or eat whatever I wanted. The staff is great too!

I had two teeth repaired and filled today. I had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and professional. Dr. Brain is very friendly and professional. He even cared about how I was feeling and asked about my weekend. That means a lot to me. I felt no pain while getting my teeth repaired. Dr. Brain did a wonderful job. I have made appointments for my entire family today. I didn’t have any insurance issues. My insurance was expected, but I had to pay a remanding balance which was affordable. I am happy I found this dentist. I rate them a 5.

Dr McMurtry’s office was quick to get my newborn in for his tongue tie procedure. I appreciated that they put us on a waiting list and got us in sooner since we were struggling with nursing. They were all very friendly and professional. I really appreciated the post op instructions that were sent home and the link to the YouTube video to remind us of the stretches. It was also great peace of mind to have an after hours number to call in case of any issues.

I have been going to Dr. McMurtry’s office since 2007. His staff are extremely friendly and provide excellent, professional care. I’m a registered nurse and work in hospital infection prevention and control and love that Dr. McMurtry’s office is clean and follow all the recommended guidelines for infection control and disinfection and sanitation. The office’s use of technology makes it extremely easy to schedule appointments and a plethora of reminders keeps me from missing my routine cleanings and check-ups. I highly recommend Dr. McMurtry and staff especially Lee, my Dental Hygienist, who remembers our conversations and always asks me how I’m doing personally.

Dr. McMurtry and staff took great care of my daughter when she needed a molar extracted. Dr. McMurtry is a dad of young kids and it really shows when he talks to his younger clients as he is gifted at explaining the procedure in a very non-scary way. His staff is so professional and helpful. We highly recommend this practice.

Dr McMurtry was compassionate & informative. He answered any questions we had and got us in & out as quickly as possible without making us feel rushed. We waited in the car until time for our appointment, temperature was taken and we went straight to our room. The staff was all wearing masks, gloves and the office was very clean.

My husband and I had a great experience at Dr. McMurtry’s office. It had been way too long since we had been to the dentist and they were very caring, gentle and informative. We do not have dental insurance and found the self- pay option affordable. We rescheduled for our next cleaning in 6 months and are very happy to find a new dentist!

Dr. McMurtry is the best dentist in Charlotte hands down. He and his entire staff are friendly and meticulous, and I have never felt like they are just out to make money on me. Although they are busy, I have never waited longer than 5 minutes. They are great at scheduling, appointment reminders, and follow ups. I have had NIGHTMARE experiences with other dentists and my orthodontist of 10 years, but now I don’t dread seeing the dentist. This is a great practice. I am so happy I found it. My whole family, and my roommate, and her whole family see him. He’s great!

We were so impressed with Dr. McMurtry’s knowledge and skill when working with our little one. Our little one received a frenectomy at 7 weeks. Dr. McMurtry and his staff made us feel very comfortable. Dr. McMurtry made us knowledgeable bout the procedure and after care. This has made feeding our little one so much better and easjer. I highly recommend Dr. McMurtry.

I heard Dr. McMurtry is the only dentist to see for tongue and lip ties. His office staff was nothing but kind and helpful the entire time we were there and on the phone beforehand. He was exceptionally knowledgeable and willing to take the time to explain things and answer questions. The front desk lady helped distract me during the procedure for my child (only a minute, but a long one!) 🙂 I’m so glad we drove an hour to see him!

Wonderful experience with my baby’s lip and tongue tie revision. Dr. McMurtry is wonderful and my husband even admitted that he would definitely want to have Dr. McMurtry be his regular dentist if only we lived closer to Charlotte! I now recommend all my friends that are struggling with breastfeeding to go see Dr. McMurtry to have their baby checked for ties!

This was my first visit to Mr. McMurtry’s office and I had a wonderful experience. I went in for a cleaning and my teeth are very sensitive and it was totally pain-free. He discussed a tongue tie procedure with me, thinking that it would help my neck and shoulder tension issues. I went ahead with the procedure and couldn’t be happier. I have no pain or tension and the procedure was basically pain-free and recovery has not been hard. So happy that he discussed it and very pleased with the results. All of the office staff are wonderful and he is very knowledgeable and caring. My twin 2 year olds also went in for their first visit and they have talked about “Dr. Brian” all week. Wonderful office and I would highly recommend to anyone!
