I was so worried about going to the dentist after many years of neglecting my dental health. I saw Dr. Janice Lising and she was AMAZING. She was so kind and professional. She helped me understand what my dental issues are and how to improve my dental hygiene. She has excellent bedside manner and made me comfortable despite my anxiety. She is the BEST. I’ll be back every six months from now on! Thank you Dr. Janice Lising!!!

I would highly recommend Dr Lising and the team. I’ve worked with Briargrove for around a year now, they are very friendly and their work has been amazing. My schedule can be hectic sometimes but the team have always worked with me and helped me get the care that I need. Again, I can’t recommend the team highly enough.

This was the BEST dental office I’ve ever been to, I’m not exaggerating! I went in because of extreme tooth pain I was having. They booked me for the end of the day which was perfect for me. I was so happy because I had no luck in my primary dental office. When I got there, I was assisted right away and I had to have a tooth extraction. In previous experiences at other dental offices, I would go in with pain and if I needed an extraction, I would be asked to come again the next day for the extraction. So I would be sent home with pain and my problem not resolved. However, in this place, as late in the day as it was (it was close to 6pm and they close at 7) the dentist really wanted to help me and wanted to do the extraction right away. I was so happy. Before the procedure, I was told step-by-step everything that needed to be done in my mouth and everything was explained. Afterwards, a kind woman came in to talk to me about the prices. She helped me so much and was sensitive to my financial situation. I got the extraction done, it was quick and painless. The dentist assistant was also chatting with me the whole time, she was very kind. I’ve already recommended this dental office. I rarely ever write reviews, but this place truly earned it. I made them my primary dental office already.

If you are looking for a compassionate dentist who really cares for your well being, look no further than Dr. Lising and the team at Briargrove Smiles Dentistry. This office is the best kept secret in the Galleria area. Dr. Lising did a CEREC crown on me 5 years ago. I have never had any complications with the tooth after her work. She was quick and walked me through everything she was doing during the procedure which helped calm my nerves. Additionally her support staff is equally as awesome. Brenda, Maria, Chasity, Hugo and her other doctors are all amazing. Check them out if you are looking to establish yourself with a new dentist. Highly recommended!!!

This place is full of friendly, honest, and helpful employees. They take great care of you. After our traumatizing experience at a different dentist my husband felt immediately at ease walking thru this dental office’s door. They are the best dentist office we have been to yet! To have my husband excited and happy about going to the dentist after his entire life hating the dentist says a lot about this business. Their bedside manner is great. The rooms are private. They let us stay with each other in the exam room if we want to be together. The waiting room is private, comfortable, has plenty to read, tv to watch, water cooler, and a game section for the kids. Makes the wait by oneself not bad at all for whoever is getting work done or while you wait to be seen

So I’ve been contemplating on writing this review and I’ve finally decided to say how I feel. I read all the wonderful reviews on this location an decided to give it a try. I went in, had my initial appointment and I enjoyed the staff very much, however at the end of my appointment, I was given a breakdown for the suggested treatment and the total after insurance was still $6,000, no veneers, no braces… I was like wow, I thought that was what the insurance was for. I was offered a payment plan, but even it was wayyyyyyyyyy out of my budget. I was super disappointed and I haven’t been back because I felt like that was a total snow job for someone who just started working. No effort was made to try and break things down, this treatment and this payment. Just $6,000. No thanks.. I’ll keep looking. *****Update as of 03/26/15***** I have received an outreach phone call from the office, after they received my review. Alot of companies wouldn’t bother to contact you after a review, but I was pleasantly surprised to awake to an email from the office manager. Aaron Parrish,(OFFICE MANAGER) invited me back into the office to speak with me about my initial visit. Aaron spoke with me in depth and explained everything about my insurance and the pay structure to me in depth. We spoke about monthly payments and how they will be paid and he asked me if this would work with my budget. He made me feel at ease and didn’t make me feel bad for my lack of dental insurance knowledge. I appreciate him meeting with me and explaining the process step by step and even more so helping me come up with a dental budget that I am comfortable with and I can begin treatment as soon as next week. Aaron’s professional courtesy and kindness also that of Dr. Lising as well is greatly appreciated. Thank you Briargrove Smiles for all of you help

I loved my dental experience at Briargrove Smiles! Dr. Lising was so thorough and patient. She made sure all my questions are concerns were addressed. Emily and Hugo walked me through my insurance and made sure I understood my out of pocket before my treatment so there were no surprises. That’s happened to me before at another place so I’m so happy I found Dr. Lising’s office! Pretty office too and great location. Highly recommended

Wow! What a great experience! Going to the dentist is definitely not my favorite thing to do but after my experience with Dr Lising and the team. From the minute I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Dr lising did a great job explaining what treatment was needed and why. I am so glad to have found my new family dentist.

I’ve been a client at BriargroveSmiles for a year, and I must say that I’m impressed with the service, products, and the staff. As of yesterday, I completed some work that literally brought tears to my eyes because of the quality of the service and the compassion expressed to me by Dr. Lising and her staff. At times, dental work can be intimidating, but they’ve been so very supportive of me since day one! Briargrove Smiles is really a great place for dental needs–especially because dental needs are very personal and can be a very big deal! Dr. Lising and her staff have the necessary empathy and compassion, and will even celebrate with you!!!
