I am so glad I found Dr Zinger. I was unhappy with my former dentist. Dr Zinger and her staff are caring, treat you as if you are family, and it’s a pleasure going to the office. Pricing is much better than other dentists in the Brookline-Boston area. Dr Zinger did a thorough exam and found issues that my other dentist had missed. I won’t go anywhere else and I recommend this dental practice.

Dr. Zinger is amazing! She and her team are so friendly and kind and very professional. The atmosphere is very calm with soothing music. She’s amazing with children with so much patience, and they have great TV to relax the kids during the session. I’ve had tooth filling, whitening and twice a year go for cleaning. I need to travel an hour each way since I live far away and I believe it’s totally worth it. I definitely recommend her!

I came with my 10 years old son Uri for a filling a couple of days ago and this was his first dental treatment in the US. The experience way exceeded my expectations! First of all the office is very welcoming, Uri insisted that his picture will appear on the board along with the rest of the smiling faces and he even found a spot for it – Dr. Zinger took his picture and we are waiting to see it next time we come… The treatment itself was a very pleasant surprise for me, following a previous treatment with Uri that was rather traumatic. Dr. Zinger was on top of everything, talked him through it and held it professionally. Uri didn’t cry, didn’t seem anxious and was really happy at the end. Thank you Mira!

Simply amazing. Dr. Zinger is an outstanding practitioner, and equally important – just the nicest person. After visiting my previous dentist I had some serious pains, and other doctors I saw weren’t completely sure what the problem was. A friend recommended Dr. Zinger – and I’m so grateful that he did! I was one of those people who always feared the dentist. The bad thing about this, as well, is that I even had dental insurance, but feared the dentist chair. As a former dancer with the Boston Ballet, my first priority was dancing and not my healthy mouth. Now that I am the Assistant to the Head of the Boston Ballet Costume Shop, I am very aware of how I need to present myself to the public. Dr. Zinger, from the first time I was a patient, made me feel at ease in the dentist chair. She talked to me as an adult about what needed to be done and how long procedures would take. Like some of the other reviewers, I, too, was traumatized by previous experiences with dentists and avoided going to one as an adult. Once my kids got old enough to need a dentist I no longer had a choice. I chose Dr. Zinger because she’s a family dentist so we could all go to her. I really can’t express how grateful I am to her. We have been going to her regularly now without fear for nearly 9 years. Visits are painless and even pleasant. She is wonderful with kids as well as adults. She is so patient and understanding of irrational fears. Let’s not forget all the awards and diplomas covering her office walls. She’s an excellent dentist and I highly recommend her.

Dr. Zinger is always very nice and professional. We are coming every half year for cleaning and checking up. The visits are always a very positive experience for us, for my kids and for me who experienced in the past other places which had made me to be very nervous every time before i go to the dentist- with Dr Zinger me and the kids are actually happy to come for treatments, i know i am in good hands. My 8 year old son had a few stuck teeth which she took off without him even sense any pain not even felt the niddle- she is doing a wonderful job and sensitive when she works. The staff is always very nice and the cleaning which is a big part of our routine seems very professional- from the first until the very last detail.

Amazing experience! Called to change dentist to Dr Mira. Got an appt the next day and after work! I have a 4 year old that needed a tooth repaired. First visit for us. They had toys for him to play with. Helped me bring in the stroller. Then Dr Mira was awesome with Will. They had a TV for him to watch and he got a toy after. She talked him through the whole thing and I was shocked how my son stayed still! He never sits still and certainly isn’t used to people being in his mouth. So glad I switched!!

Been meaning to write this forever. I was referred to Dr. Zinger over 15 years ago and have referred countless friends to her since, who all rave about her and her staff. The relaxing classical music and ocean views on the wall are great, as is the easy location via public transit, but of course the core of it are kind, very educated and caring staff. One time I had a medical issue that turned out to be unrelated to my teeth that I mentioned in passing to Dr. Zinger, and she called me to follow up about it, much more than a typical doctor would do! If you’re nervous about the dentist, this is the right place. It feels like visiting family.

Wow these people answer their phones 24 hours a day. I am a graduate student new to the area. Called on a Sunday afternoon with a problem with my retainer. I got the doctor on the phone. She was kind and professional and saw me first thing Monday morning. I have chosen them as my dentist. So, I find the dentist absolutely terrifying: like on a deep existential level. I can smash a creepy crawly with my fist, watch a horror movie without blinking, dangle off the end of a bungee cord with ease, and leap tall buildings with a single bound (okay, not really). But please, puh-lease, don’t make me go to the dentist! That being said, Dr. Zinger and her assistant are amazing!!! I was able to get an appointment right away. She was on time – I didn’t even have the chance to bite off all my finger nails. Everything was fast, totally pain free, and (believe it or not) surprisingly affordable. I don’t have insurance, so the latter was a nice little surprise – much cooler than a free toothbrush. As I was leaving, her next patient came in – there were hugs all around, questions about ‘the kids,’ etc. To say that Dr. Zinger has a ‘good bed-side manner’ (or, giant-chair side?) is to say far too little.

A friend of mine recommend Dr. Zinger to me, so I decided to end my moratorium of seeing the dentist after over fifteen years and pay her a visit. I was resistant to dentists in general, since my memories were always of very painful experiences performed by impersonal dental assistants, even for routine cleanings. Dr. Zinger has cured me of these fears. Her small office means you deal primarily with her. She’s very gentle and handled my deep cleaning (over a the course of a number of visits) with absolutely no pain. Her dental assistant is just that – her assistant, not her surrogate. Thanks to her, I’m back on track with regular checkups, which I enjoy. And now I’ve started to take my 4 y.o. son, since she’s an awesome pediatric dentist to boot. My only hesitation in recommending her is that I don’t want her office to get too big or busy! I’d like to keep this wonderful secret all to myself!

Dr Zinger has been my general dentist for a couple of years. She’s been great with me, but her best skill is with children. My son was terrified of going to the dentist – but loves going to see her. She is kind and compassionate first and foremost, but she is also precise, efficient and highly professional. I can’t recommend Dr Zinger highly enough. I’ve been blessed with a string of gentle dentists and Dr Zinger is certainly that. Her office is small, clean and bright. Like all dentists, she tries to start cheerful conversation while elbow deep down down your throat. She has a TV screen so you can watch movies while the procedure is going on. An excellent dentist for children. There are so many little things that make me appreciate her more every time I go. Her assistant calls you two weeks before your appointment and is ready for a last minute reschedule. She is also brilliant in dealing with your sleazy insurance company. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Mira Zinger and her team. I called her office a few months ago on a whim- while my parents were in town visiting my dad became very ill and ended up hospitalized. The same day he was discharged from the hospital he began to have a horrible toothache! I yelped local dentists and found Dr. Zinger who said she could see him right away. Dr. Zinger took a set of xrays and did an exam and we found out that my dad needed a root canal. She was willing to do it right then and there since she saw how uncomfortable he was. My dad wasn’t feeling well as he was recovering from a hospital stay (talk about a bad trip!) and Dr. Zinger and her associates could not have been more helpful in keeping him comfortable. From adjusting their equipment so that he could lay in a better position to contacting his team of doctors to make sure it was safe that he could undergo a dental procedure so soon after a hospitalization (and that the medication he was on wouldn’t interfere with what she would be using) Dr. Zinger was truly our dental angel. She did the first portion of the root canal then told us that the second part would be more complicated. She recommended to be safe, to see an oral surgeon but that the portion she did meant that we could wait up to a week to complete that part. She contacted our home dentist and communicated what she had done and what was still needed. My parents went home, my dad SO much more comfortable, and had the procedure finished closer to home at the oral surgeons the next week. The oral surgeon was very impressed and happy with what Dr. Zinger did and we were all grateful that she was able to help him in Boston. If you are looking for a wonderful dentist and person who is willing to go out of her way to help in a unique situation, go see Dr. Zinger! I have sent several family friends to her and everyone is just as happy with her care.

I initially started going to Dr. Zinger as she was a short walk from my home in Brookline Village. I’ve always been really squeamish about going to the dentist. Finding Dr. Zinger was a true blessing. Dr. Zinger’s office is cozy and conveniently located. It even has its own parking lot behind the building. Dr. Zinger is fantastic when it comes to working with patients like myself that demand extra patience and sensitivity. She is very friendly and does excellent work. Dr. Zinger drilled my first cavity, at age 28, and she made it as pleasant an experience as possible. I strongly suggest Dr. Zinger for anyone looking for a dentist with a kind and gentle approach to working with their patients. You will not be disappointed.
