I can’t say enough about this practice. It’s so clean and they use such modern technology. I’ve been working with Dr Kwak for crown work. She has such a precise eye and a gentle touch. I have dental anxiety and I feel so comfortable with her. I had my temporary crowns in for way too long and they stayed in without issues. My kids and I have seen other dentist too and they are all so kind and they do such great work.

I’m sure I’m not alone in saying I’ve always hated going to the dentist. But after going to Dr. Kwak and her team, I don’t dread it at all! They do a great job making you feel comfortable and also explaining everything you would need to know about your teeth. I’ve never understood what exactly is going on in regard to my dental health, but they spend the time to thoroughly explain. They’re all so friendly! It’s such a welcoming office and I would highly recommend it. I’m confident in saying my teethe are in the best condition they’ve ever been.

We love Brookline Progressive Dental. Dr. Kwak is awesome with my three kids and very kind and patient with squeamish, wimpy me. Her sense of humor and easy, unwavering confidence put me at ease from my first visit. I feel incredibly lucky to have found a dentist who I actually enjoy seeing! When I cracked a tooth last year, she stayed late to fix it the same day so I could avoid any potential complications. Also, when we first switched to her practice, she redid the dental work that my former dentist screwed up and I’ve had no problems with it since. The hygienists are really nice and thorough, too, and give excellent advice regarding daily dental hygiene. The office itself is welcoming and clean, with soft music and tasteful decor, and the desk staff is friendly and helpful. If you’re in need of a new dentist in the Brookline/Boston area, I highly recommend Dr. Kwak. Your teeth will thank you!

I love going to the dentist! This practice is wonderful: clean, pleasant, attractive. And that’s just the space! Dr. Kwak is a miracle — fast, painless, careful, kind. Funny! Every technician and staff member is also top drawer—pleasant, efficient, helpful. Who would ever have thought I’d look forward to visiting the dentist? I do now. This great smile was given to me by Dr H. Kwak, Brookline Progressive Dental Associates . She is incredible. She meticulously  redid my teeth to look and function completely naturally, and I now smile with full confidence. She and the team are gentle and were sensitive to the fact that I am a very squeamish patient, and they used a variety of interventions to make the process virtually painless. It is a sincerely caring patient centered practice I would refer without reservation . Go here if you are considering any restorative dental work and you will be thrilled with the results .

When my 3 year old daughter bruised her gums and we needed to take her to a dentist, I knew I had to get up the courage and go too–for the first time in 18 years!!!!! I was truly terrified, but a friend had been recommending the Brookline Progressive team for a while, so I did it, I went. They were so, so kind, even though my gums were a wreck. Fast forward 3 years and I just got a great cleaning and check up, with news that my healthy gums continue to improve! I really thank my lucky stars that I have been under the expert care of Dr. Kwak and the team of kind, thorough, gentle hygenists. Sheesh! I wish my younger self could have had this experience, and saved myself years of pain and anxiety.

I have been going to Brookline Progressive Dental for 2 years and they have provided me excellent care and service.  They have a very calming environment with an indoor water feature and pleasing instrumental music.  I love that they offer appointment reminders and confirmation via text.  I have had negative experiences with my sensitive gums and hygienists who are overly aggressive.  My hygienist has been Paige, and she is very gentle and thoughtful in her chair-side manner.  I have had issues with gum recession, and they recommended a reputable periodontist in the area.  Overall, I would highly recommend Brookline Progressive Dental.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kwak and her amazing team. I had always been terrified of dentists but couldn’t put it off any longer. Dr. Kwak is fantastic when it comes to working with patients like myself that demand extra patience and a lot of explaining. She is very friendly and does excellent work. I couldn’t be happier with my new crown! The front desk team is always welcoming and helpful, giving excellent explanation about everything that has to do with payments and insurance issues. Always friendly and highly professional on the phone and in person. And I absolutely loved Aimee the hygienist! Best cleaning I’ve ever had!!

I’ve been going to Brookline Progressive Dental for a few years now and I love it! Everything is very clean and the staff is very kind. Andy in the front desk is always so helpful and the dental teamf is excellent. My most recent cleaning was with Aymee and she was great. She took a long time with me, explained everything and was very sweet. Would recommend BPDT to anyone in Boston!

Post COVID, I felt safe, welcomed and was very pleased with the steps they are taking to insure safety and great dental care. This office staff, dentists and dental assistants are considerate, professional and top notch in the care they deliver. Dr. Kwak is one of the very best dentists who takes great pride in her work. While I don’t always look forward to another visit to the dentist, I travel past many others to go here and am very pleased.

First time back at Brookline Progressive Dental Team since Covid hit. I’ve been coming here for years for what I feel is phenomenal dental care with Dr. Kwak. In the past, she has restored a few problem teeth with onlays which is a more conservative approach to a crown when it’s doable. I am so pleased with the results. This time around, I was past due for an exam so it ended up being a yearly cleaning. My old hygienist, Paige moved away so I saw Ashley. I felt right at ease with her. They are back with the tools vs ultrasonic cleaning due to the aerosols released from ultrasonic cleaning. I can appreciate their decisions to keep their people safe and healthy. Even with the old school tools, it was a gentle experience. Of course, the staff were masked up and the waiting area was properly distanced with what I remember as stuffed penguins? on chairs for separation. (nice touch) As usual all my questions about my oral health and teeth were met with kind and informative answers. I had a gum pocket that had turned a little deeper and rather than come back, I asked Ashley if she could take care of it now since it was only one spot. She was game and I got to leave there without worrying that there would still be tarter stuck at the bottom of that pocket. BPDT – great team!

I have more than a little anxiety about having dental work done.  When my wonderful dentist of 30 years retired and referred me to Dr. Kwak, I trusted she would be good, but never expected the personalized, caring and state-of-the-art care she and the entire team provided.   They absolutely knew how to put me at ease.  They listened, respected my fears and adjusted their treatment accordingly.  I have been back several times and always receive the high quality care.  Absolutely 5 stars!

Dr. Kwak and the whole staff at Brookline Progressive Dental are amazing! I have never liked going to a dentist’s office and have avoided it for the past few years after moving to Boston, but Dr. Kwak and her team makes me feel at ease. I first visited Dr. Kwak for a second opinion. (The first dentist I went to in Boston was very disappointing. I felt like they just wanted my money and I saw the dentist for a total of two minutes, if that.) However Dr. Kwak spent a lot of time with me during my first appointment telling me everything I needed to get done. She was very sweet but very honest about the treatments I needed. She was easy to talk to and very understanding. She was able to answer all my questions and come up with a treatment plan for me. It did not feel like the appointment was rushed. She is a wonderful dentist! I also really hate getting local anesthesia but she made it less painful. She’s good at what she does. All the hygienists that I’ve done cleanings with have been great as well! They are all so knowledgeable and good at informing me every step they’re about to do. On top of that, this facility is extremely nice, new and clean. It has been very easy to make appointments and I’ve never had any issues with billing or insurance. I was always well informed about how much each procedure was prior to getting the treatment. I’ve had to reschedule an appointment last minute due to work and they were kind enough to waive the cancellation fee. I’ve also never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Everyone is extremely friendly and accommodating! I highly recommended Dr. Kwak and her team to anyone looking for a great dentist and a nice, clean dental office.

I was seen by Dr. Kwak who was very sweet and understanding. I was running a bit late on one of the appointments and her and the office staff made it a point to help me out. The front office staff were very patient when explaining to me about my payments and insurance benefits as well. Highly recommend!

Always had great and timely clinical care with their team for the 3+ years I have been there. This last time, I had a small billing issue where I was charged more than I was quoted. They were able to resolve it quickly, assumed responsibility for it, and adjusted the charge to the initial quote. That is exemplary service and the reason I will continue to go back as it is a great and honest practice.

Excellent dental work and worth every penny. I don’t need much dental work at the moment, but I only trust these guys with my dental needs even though my work insurance doesn’t cover them. No worries–I’ll pay out of pocket for their expertise and friendly service. I’m serious! They’re just that great!
