Check out what some of our happy patients are saying about us:

My son has been receiving ongoing treatment with B. Johnson for over a year. We were given a printed breakdown of all costs prior to starting treatment and informed on what to expect at each stage. The staff has been very professional and helpful arranging all appointments and addressing any questions.  He feels very comfortable and each appointment has been a positive experience. I’m seeing the benefits and results for my son and am about to begin services for my dght with Dr. Johnson.

This is the first time I was not cringing from the pain from the shot. I never knew that it didn’t have hurt. This is a new concept for me. I had many dental work done before but this time just one shot was all I needed, not two or three shots I used to get for the same dental process. Dr Bruce Johnson was fast too! Thank you for making me believe that the dental work can be a peaceful experience!

Dr. Johnson and his staff are fantastic. They are professional and both of my kids enjoy going to the dentist now. We had a horrible prior experience so our time with Dr. Johnson has been a blessing. He has been able to correct bite issues on both kids and their smiles are better than ever.

Dr. Johnson has been my family’s dentist for over 5 years and we drive over 45 minutes to go see him! I was shocked when I saw some of the other reviews and felt compelled to share my experience with Dr. Johnson and his staff. Whenever I arrive, I am greeted nicely and never have to wait for very long. Similarly, I really trust his opinion on invasive operations and surgeries. I recently went to another dentist last summer and he insisted that I needed a root canal. I ultimately requested that I get a filling instead of a root canal and the filling has been great since then and has no issues. When I went back to Dr. Johnson after being unhappy with the other dentist, Dr. Johnson and staff were surprised that the other dentist had even suggested the root canal. Overall, I find Dr. Johnson to be trustworthy and genuine, kind and respectful. I find myself coming back here every time even though the drive is super long!

Dr Johnson’s the best orthodontist around.  We shopped many places and we went with Dr Johnson because he was about function over looks of orthodontics.  Also his appliance was the least intrusive.  My daughter had terrible teeth with no space for her adult teeth.  After three years, her teeth looks beautiful and her mouth has enough space for all her teeth and she’s able to sleep better and chew better.  My other daughter had an underbite and after a year it’s already been fixed.  He’s listens to our concerns and is very kind.  Highly recommend him.  If he took our insurance, I’d go to him for dental work.  So glad we found him!

My regular dentist was on vacation and I had an emergency. I walked in at Dr. Johnson’s office. I was warmly welcomed by all and immediately attended by Dr Johnson. At the end of the procedure I was not charged. It was an amazing experience and am deeply touched by the experience. He put a radiant smile on my face!!!

I am writing an updated review because now I have been a patient of Dr. Johnson for 7 years instead of 2 years. The best thing about this office is their abundant resources and amazing team of doctors, therapists, chiropractor and consultants. I knew when I started my treatment that it would be a difficult journey because I am SUPER sensitive to, well, everything it seems! What I appreciate most about this doctor is the fact that he is still willing to treat my severe TMJ case and make things better for me. It has not been easy to go through my treatment and I am sure we both did not expect the obstacles and dead ends that I have gone through in trying to fix my jaw, nonetheless, I appreciate not being dismissed as a patient even when he has tried everything he can with little results. I appreciate Dr. Johnson being humble enough and intelligent enough to know when he needs to ask for help. Dr. Johnson’s colleague was able to figure out what Dr. Johnson was stuck on regarding my case and I feel so much better now (it’s like a 180!) and I am happy I trusted Dr. Johnson’s team of doctors he works with. The staff always tries to accommodate my visits to fit my schedule and to get me in for a same day visit if it is urgent. I know this isn’t always easy because they are a very busy office. I have never come across any of them being rude though. I am very grateful to them and will continue to be a patient as long as Dr. Johnson remains in practice 🙂 I would recommend people to see him although that means he might get so busy I won’t be able to see him! hahaha!

Dr. Johnson has been our family dentist for over 15 years… maybe longer.  We make the trek from Whittier to Montrose because he is just that good.  He is extremely professional and quite personable.  He has a very gentle way.  My husband hated going to the dentist prior to finding Dr. Johnson; not anymore!  I have had various dental treatments and I appreciate his non invasive approach when possible.  His staff are always helpful and cheerful.  The hygienists are the best.  I always leave feeling that my money was well spent on cleanings and treatments.   I give Dr. Johnson and his staff my highest recommendation.

This place is amazing.  I came in a few weeks back because i had a toothache that wouldnt stop hurting.  Dr Johnson assesed the problem and fixed my tooth immediately and i have been pain free ever since.  Everyone on their staff is also very friendly.  definately recommend..

We welcome the opportunity to share with you a new and exciting health paradigm. This is not based upon drug therapy or learning to live with pain. It has taken years to develop mostlybecause it takes considerable cooperation among several specialties. It is focused on repairing systems that are not functioning correctly so that the problems (symptoms) will have long-term resolution. The development of the mouth (including the teeth, jaw bones, jaw joints, muscles, tongue and gums) is influenced significantly by environmental influences as we grow. For example, if we suck our thumb, breathe through our mouth, or chew our fingernails, we distort normal growth of the mouth. This results in distortions in the dental system (crooked teeth, overbites, crooked jaws, etc.) These distortions in turn affect other systems. A crooked bite will produce a head to neck posture that appears “crooked”. As the neck muscles struggle to compensate, neck pain develops. The muscles of the shoulders and back are recruited to assist the neck muscles, and they in turn struggle. So now we recognize that bad bites and back pain are connected. As we have explored these relationships, many others have been discovered. The result has been that dentists like Dr. Johnson approach treatment from a “whole-person” perspective, understanding the intimate relationship the dental system shares with the other systems of the body. Treatment becomes focused on procedures that result in the dental system becoming supportive to the other systems. When your dental system is in balance and functioning properly, you breathe better. You sleep better. Your posture improves. It is a powerful health paradigm. One aspect that is not different in this paradigm is that early recognition and resolution of issues produces betterresults. That leads to the question of “when should my child be examined for proper growth and development”, and “what can I do as a parent to help my child grow as his/her genetics intended”? Hopefully, you will find answers to these questions in the “Growth and Development” section of this website. A practitioner whose treatment is based in this total health perspective asks about and looks for signs and symptoms that traditional or conventional dentistry does not. Many have inquired why we ask for some of the information we do on the forms you fill out. Hopefully, the above information assists you in understanding how vital this information is. Lastly, we hope you will realize that as the dental system so dramatically impacts the airway,, which is our source for oxygen that every cell in our body needs, treating the dental system to positively impact the airway is fundamental to our practice of helping to enhance total body health.
