Ok….this Doctor is one of a kind and I mean that. He just performed a completely PAINLESS root canal on me – it was incredible! Even the injections to numb the area were PAINLESS – honest! You can feel the skill in his hands and you know that you have absolutely nothing to fear. Being in the dental chair is not my favorite place but they all make it so much easier than you were expecting. I have never had a root canal and I was a bit nervous about it (even though I know I am in very qualified hands with Dr. K – fear of the unknown, I guess). I was SHOCKED at how easy, quick and painless (especially 🙂 the whole thing was. From start to finish! I was given a cozy blanket and I was warm and comfortable and felt completely at ease. During a root canal!! Can you imagine?! Dr. K is so head-and-shoulders above the rest…..what a wonderful, warm and caring person. The entire staff is just the same – warm, caring (for real) and genuinely concerned for your well-being. His assistant, Brenda, is so darling and sweet and goes above and beyond to ensure your comfort. She tucked me in all comfy and always made sure I was ok. He has 2 fantastic hygienists that are just as wonderful (Jackie and Serge), as well as lovely Cheryl in the front to greet you with a beautiful smile and a warm hello. I am so in love with all of these people (my husband is also a patient and feels exactly the same way) that when we move to Arizona this summer, we will continue to make the trip here to see Dr. K whenever necessary. So, if you are reading reviews to see if you should try this office, this should say it all. I LOVE DR. K!!!!

Doctor K and his office staff completely blow away all my expectations for a doctors office. Some of the most genuine people I’ve ever met while also being incredibly patient. I haven’t gone to the dentist in over 10 years due to being afraid. 1 root canal and 12 fillings later, I can’t explain how excited I am to now go to the dentist. This place has changed my life and I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for an honest, intelligent, hard working group of people that really care!

Dr. K is wonderful! The work he performed was pain free and efficient. He’s also super nice and very informative. He gave me the option of having him either explain what he was doing during the procedure, or just do it. I had him explain what he was doing, and it was quite enlightening! He is the best dentist I have ever been to. The entire staff is very friendly, warm and welcoming. You can tell everyone there loves what they do! The office itself is very nice, and they seem to have state-of-the-art equipment. Highly recommended

I have been with a dentist for quite a few years, but getting concerned that his techniques were not quite up to date.  I got a recommendation about Dr. K and gave him a try.  What a beautiful office, friendly staff, and the latest technology to make my cleanings and x-rays much more comfortable.  Since we have amazing technology available to us, I want to have a dentist that knows about them and how they can help with my overall teeth health.  Dr. K is that guy … and the best part is that it isn’t any more expensive than my former dentist!

I just got my very first fillings here and everything went perfectly. Dr K couldn’t have been nicer. He soothed my fears and was very compassionate. It didn’t hurt one bit thanks to the double shot of local anasthetic! I’d recommend Calabasas Smiles to everyone

Best – Best – Best – Best!!  I’ll be honest, I hate dentists (sorry Dr. K), but after going here I’m not nervous, anxious or scared and am even taking my daughter.  I called for an appointment and I felt special……they are actually super happy and seem pleased to help.  The minute you enter the office you are greeted with a warm hello and the offer to get you something.  If you have the pleasure of dealing with the office manager you will think it’s the happiest place on earth.  Back in the state of the art exam room it’s more of the same…..kindness, caring and excellent service done pain free and efficiently without waiting.  So happy my friend, Kate told me to go here.  Finally, after all these years I’m in the right place for dental care.

I recently had a lot of work done that is fine and serviceable but not perfect great. After, I moved to Los Angeles, I needed a permanent dentist in my new hometown. I asked around hoping to finally find a dentist that I could trust with my bite, and that does great work. Frankly, I have not ever had a great dentist. No one would recommend their dentist, they all were “my dentist is okay.” I even went to two, and there was no way I would ever return, it is scary when I know more about my teeth than they do, and when they seem more concerned about the money than me as a patient. So, okay just does not do it for me anymore, and with all the work I had done already, and my past so-so experiences, I did not know who to trust. Finally, I asked a friend who has beautiful teeth if she had a dentist, assuming that she had naturally exceptional teeth. My friend laughed and recommended, actually it was more like insisted that Calabasas Smiles and specifically Dr. Kalipari was the “Only” place to go, and the only dentist she has ever recommended. I was surprised that she attributes her beautiful teeth 100% to the excellent care of Dr. K. I was also surprised to hear that in the past she had many other costly “dental nightmares” caused by incompetent dentists, all of which she trusted Dr. K. to fix. As I wrote above, I would never have guessed she even needed a dentist her teeth appear naturally beautiful. I called and spoke to Dr. K’s Sylvia to set up a plan that worked best for my situation, and bring back confidence in a dentist who knows you, and that you can trust.

I felt like I was at a high end dental office because this place was really luxurious. The dentist was so nice and he was pretty gentle with my teeth (well as gentle as possible I guess. my teeth are really sensitive). The pricing is pretty decent I think. I needed to get my cavity fixed and i could pay it all at one time so they let me do a payment plan.

I am pretty convinced that there is some sort of mystical power that exists at Calabasas Smiles. I have had pretty intensive work done there. From oral surgery to root canals and on and on. I have never experienced one iota of pain. NONE! And the work is top notch The experience has been utterly amazing. The staff is super friendly but super professional. I have generally not gotten hugs from everyone on my dentist staff. Doc is sort of like your dental cool older brother and acts accordingly but knows his stuff cold. Truly become your dental family. Dare say, I kind of enjoy going?? To the dentist?? Highly, highly, highly recommend this team

The best dentist ever.  I cannot be more happy that I have a dentist of such extrordinary quality.  His work is impeccable (this is a big statement from a known perfectionist), the staff is exceptional, and his entire office speaks to Dr. K’s commitment to his patients and to the art of fine dentistry.  His work for me, and with me continues to be beyond my exacting expectations.  I actually enjoy going in to see the dentist as long as I am seeing Dr. K, and for someone who has dental terror otherwise that is a big deal.  Thank you Dr. K, and all of your wonderful staff, your commitment to my care and compassion for my care cannot be adequately appreciated in these posts. You have my respect and my highest recommendation.

Excellent Service! Dr.K is the best dentist in Calabasas. He is genuine and professional. He took care of my root canal in an easier way. I literally don’t feel any pain after the treatment. I recently moved to calabasas and needed to find a new dentist. I was very worried since I Am very particular about my dentist and wanted a very good one. Well I have found my forever Dentist. Dr K was so nice and I felt immediate comfort. The whole office staff is very friendly and helpful.. More than that though he does excellent work. I got crowns and veneers and couldn’t be happier !!! He is a perfectionist !!!

I was NOT looking forward to visiting the Dentist. I hadn’t brushed my teeth for longer than I care to admit, and I’m more apt to use floss for embroidery than scrapery. But my teeth were starting to hurt when I bit into things, and I knew I couldn’t put it off any more without doing serious damage, so I searched for a cleaning deal and found Calabasas Smiles. I was hooked by their cleaning deal, and further intrigued by the “Spa-like atmosphere” they claimed to provide. So, although it was a ways away from me, I bit the bullet and bussed over. I walked in the door and was greeted with… a blanket? I’d never been in a dentist office that offered the waiting room occupants blankets. Shortly afterward, I was also provided with hot towels. Between the towels and the music, I fell asleep waiting for my appointment–not that it was a long wait, it wasn’t, but I felt that relaxed. During my appointment I was not shamed for not having brushed my teeth or floss, merely given a gentle reminder how important both were. I barely felt the cleaning, it was that gentle. They honored my coupon without a fuss, and I walked out as a future lifelong customer.

I had discomfort on my wisdom teeth. I had recently moved and had not seen my regular dentist. I was referred to Dr. K by a another friend. Although I do not live around the Calabasas area, I didn’t want to just go to any local dentist that I was not personally referred to. It was apparent from my first visit that Dr. K truly cares about his work and his patients. His facility is amazing, his staff is amazing, and his work was amazing. Thanks Dr. K, Jenny, and Calabasas Smiles for making me feel comfortable and making the process painless and affordable.

What a gorgeous office and friendly staff! And Dr.K’s work and bedside manner is amazing! Took my son in on an emergency because he broke his tooth and he was so patient and empathetic to my son it helped calm ME down, too! I watched Dr.K form a new tooth for my son right before my eyes and by the end of the visit, you’d never know there was ever a problem! THANK YOU guys SO much! What a positive experience that turned out to be!

If you are looking for a trustworthy, safe and gentle dentist you should go to Calabasas Smiles. I have been a patient for years and I’m someone who is particularly afraid of the dentist. Dr. Payam Khalepari (“Doctor K”) and his entire staff are so patient with me and do everything they can to calm my irrational fear of the dentist. They always go above and beyond to make sure I have a pleasant experience. This doctor cares about his patients, we are not just insurance billing for him. He cares about our teeth and our health. He will never recommend unnecessary work. He will be 100% honest with you.  I was especially nervous about going to the dentist during the pandemic but Dr. Khalepari installed a special air filtration system in the office that is used in hospital operating rooms to suck out the air to prevent patients from being infected with anything during surgery. This air filtration system isn’t something he was required to install, he just wanted to go above and beyond to protect his patients. Everything is very sterilized between patients and I felt so safe during the entire visit.  My teeth always look great after a cleaning by Jackie! Jackie is so kind and patient with me every visit. She remembers me every time and she does a lot to make sure I’m comfortable. At the end of my visit I’m given a warm lavender scented towel to wipe off my face and it feels like a day at the spa rather than a teeth cleaning. Go here for all your dental needs and you will be so glad you did! Every time I go here, it feels like I’m reuniting with friends. I thoroughly enjoy my visits.

If you are squeamish about going to the dentist, you won’t be after a visit to Calabasas Smiles. From the front desk staff to Dr. K himself and everyone in between, the office is extremely friendly and helpful as soon as you walk in the door. I have sensitivity issues and was given particularly gentle treatment by a wonderful hygienist. Can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Have you ever heard someone tell you that they had a wonderful experience at the dentist?  Crazy, but at Calabasas Smiles it is true.  I had a crown/filling and was amazed that I experienced ZERO pain (even after the numbness wore off) and felt so relaxed during the procedure.  Dr. K made my crown right there before my eyes – so no temporary crown and no follow up visit necessary!  Wish I could give Dr. K more than a 5 star rating.  Entire staff receives an A+.  100 percent recommend

I want to say “Thank you”‘ to Dr K. and his staff for making me feel so comfortable when I had my first root canal and crown. Dr. K. explained every step of the procedure and was so kind to be sure I was comfortable.  The crown was designed in the office while I waited, which was very convenient. The crown fit beautifully, and the color perfect.  Dr. K. Is a true artist.   I highly recommend Calabasas Smiles to anyone who is looking for an amazing dentist. P.S.  Lovely office.

The office was so beautiful and very clean. The entire staff were courteous and professional. I was greeted warmly by the front receptionist and offered tea/coffee while I waited for my appointment. I was a little nervous but receptionist chatted with me and eased my nerves. Dr. K was fantastic!  He was so gentle and described everything he was doing before he did it. I have had bad experiences in the past, actually Dr. K was fixed the mistake from my last dentist, and honestly I couldn’t be happier with his work. I can finally smile with pride again.  I highly recommend Calabasas Smiles. Dr.K is my forever dentist. Thank you for everything!

I don’t write reviews often but my experience  was worth taking the time to write this review. When I first walking into through the office, it was like no dental office I’ve ever been to. The entire office look elegant and was extremely clean.  The front office girl Kristin was dress professionally instead of the usual scrubs, which was kind of nice and she was so friendly and charming.  After I checked in I didn’t have to wait long to be seen which was great. Then I saw Dr. K and he was exceptionally kind and thorough. He took the time needed to explain everything to me and made sure I really understood, and was kind enough to answer my many questions. This office has high end equipment; Dr.K took smileography pictures of me and showed me what my smile could look after and I have to say that I looked pretty darn good if I say so myself.  The whole process reassured me that I went to the right dentist. I’m actually looking forward to my next visit.

Dr. K saved my son’s life! Due to a thorough examination that every other dentist had missed, Dr K saw a small lump in my son’s upper palate. He referred him to an oral surgeon immediately where they discovered it was a cancerous tumor. Thank God, it was operable and my son is now cancer-free. But if Dr K had not found it it likely would have metastasized and likely would have killed him. That is the kind of amazing dentist Dr K is

Dr K is smart, attentive, and thorough. I have recommended him to my family and friends and everyone says the same thing. His office is also state of the art. My last dentist kept referring me out to other people when I needed something special like a root canal. Dr K brings the specialists to you. I give him a sparkling clean rating.
