Dr. Chan has been our family dentist for a year now. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is fast & efficient and conservative when it comes to treatment recommendations. He doesn’t recommend more treatment than is absolutely necessary. I completely trust him. In addition, I have some health issues that make getting dental work done extremely hard for me. When I first started going to him I explained my issues. He asked what he could do to make my experience as comfortable as possible and he has been incredibly patient and worked with me on my specific issues each time I have come in. I’m so grateful to him & his staff. I was dreading getting the work done that I needed, but Dr. Chan and his staff made it possible for me and created an environment of comfort & understanding

I LOVE Dr. Jack Chan! He is very professional as well as funny and honest. It seems like he really sympathizes and understands the patient. I usually hate going to the dentist, but he has changed that for me. I tolerate it now lol. It rocks how thorough he is. As a patient, you’re more than just a number here. They make sure to take enough time to thoroughly get the job done so you don’t have to revisit your issue later. The staff is very personable and competent in what they do, and they seem to work harmoniously with Dr. Chan. My last appointment was seriously filled with a lot of laughs and serious questions. The prices are good and fair, and he refers out (when necessary) to some great specialists. I’m not being paid to say this… They really are that great

My husband had a dental emergency in July where one of his filings broke on a Thursday night.  Although we have a dentist in the desert we did not have one in Oceanside.  We called Dr. Chan’s office the next morning and even though we had never been to this office before, they were kind enough to squeeze my husband into their schedule that same day.  Dr. Chan did an outstanding job of fixing the filing and my husband was therefore able to enjoy the weekend!  Thank you Dr. Chan and staff for prompt, professional, excellent service

How adorable is this place?! This is built into a house right next to City Hall in downtown Oceanside. I had no idea it was even back here. I easily got a Friday appointment and the staff was friendly and attentive. Dr. Chan was thorough and didn’t recommend a bunch of procedures I didn’t need. He even gave me a small toy and said it was the “cleanest teeth of 2016 award” which was pretty funny. I always get wary of practices that have “dark spots to watch” or offer to drill into your head when it’s not needed. I didn’t feel like he was a salesmen at all. I have a really sensitive spot in my mouth and they were gentle with me when they saw I was getting uncomfortable.I was very satisfied with the appointment time, the staff and the professionalism. The office is also cozy and very nicely decorated. The waiting room, paintings, everything was very well thought. Definitely check this out if you’re looking for a new dentist!

I was very cautious about selecting a new dentist as I have had a bad experience with a prior dental office which created a trust issue. So glad I found Dr Chan!  His concern is the health of your teeth and not performing unnecessary work.  His staff is friendly, the office vibe is warm and an overall nice atmosphere – no pressure which is very refreshing. I was told by my previous dentist I needed 2 crowns and Dr Chan said all I needed was a small filling.  He has restored my faith in the dental profession!  Thank you to Dr Chan and your terrific staff!

Dr. Chan is the man! I had my wisdom teeth extracted as well as a little piece of a tooth’s root, that was left over from another Dentists botched job. Dr. Chan made sure that I was in no pain and comfortable at all times. He’s so gentle, caring, and treats you like a friend…. Always humorous and honest. He truly cares about his patients and it shows! His staff is also just as awesome! I’m so grateful to have found California Coast Dental… My husband and will go no where else. You just can’t top Dr. Chan and his team

Best dentist ever! I used to live walking distance. Even after moving, I continue to see Dr. Chan. He is kind, funny, and extremely honest. I’ve had times when I went in thinking I needed much more work done, and he has always suggested less intense treatment plans that still get the best results. Going to see Dr. Chan and the rest of his staff is a pleasure, not something that many people can say about going to the dentist.

I chose Dr. Chan for 3 reasons: 1) My son & daughter-in-law had been using him for years 2) he was close to my house & work 3) he is on my approved PPO dentists list. I have been very very happy with him & his whole staff. I have been his patient for 7 years and have recommended co-workers to him. I go every 6 months without fail. Did I mention that I get the finest birthday and Xmas cards from his office!
