Geez. I did not realize that this dental office had only 3 stars. Meh. I guess you can’t always trust yelpers (this is something I find true anywhere I go) I’ve been going to Dr. Sandhu for about a month now and have had nothing but superior service. He is kind and does not make you feel rushed when you’re there. I’ve had dentists who have made me feel like I was a walking bucket of cash and that’s definitely not a feeling resonated through this office. The dental clerks and assistants are nice and so is the office. It’s clean and looks really professional. Another plus is that his office is open on weekends so it really helps when you’re not wanting to take any days or hours off of work. It’s actually one of the reasons why I chose the office. I came here mainly to get some cosmetic crowns dealt with and if you’re in a similar situation I know it’s really hard to commit to an office since not a lot of people post about their experiences. Wellll. Dr. Sandhu uses a top notch office in SoCal so the crowns come out beautiful! There was a problem with mine and we’re having it repaired ASAP. I love that Dr. Sandhu addressed the problem and dealt with it professionally. I would recommend this office for your cosmetic needs. I have yet to do a cleaning with him but I wouldn’t expect anything less that great from this office

My experience with Dr. Sandhu and the staff of California Shine Dental was fantastic. I was not a patient at this clinic but rather an observer trying to get more exposure to private practices in the bay area. I’m a dental student and I’ve seen the entire spectrum of dentist interacting with patients – from dentists who are overly aggressive and are merely trying to meet a production quota to those who are too shy and can’t give proper treatment to patients. Dr. Sandhu both listens to patients needs, expectations and *most importantly* dental related fears and crafts a custom treatment plan that ensures top quality care for each and every patient. Another thing I noticed is that Dr. Sandhu isin’t rushed to see a certain amount of patients, prior to beginning any treatment he will always ask how a patient is doing, ask about developments in their life or if they have done anything exciting since last meeting, these little things that I’ve learned from Dr. Sandhu really help patients to be more comfortable in the dental chair and foster a sense of trust and compassion. Everything I’ve learned from Dr. Sandhu helped me treat my own patients better and more importantly – helped me forge a stronger bond of trust with them. I’m excited to see what else I can learn from Dr. Sandhu going forward. 10/5 stars!

First off, Me and my wife used to go to other dentist at berryesa rd but we rarely saw our dentist there. we were always encountered by dental technicians ,it was like in/out we had no doctor client relationship…..so we decided to change our dentist and we r glad we did .we landed at california shine dental and we have been sooo happy ever since..Dr Sandhu and his staff r the best in bay area..Dr Sandhu personally cleaned my and my wifes teeth(which other dentist never did) He answered all our questions and suggested what was best for our oral hyigiene..his staff also scheduled our next appointment at appropriate time which fits our schedule.. so no hassles..we have been recommending Dr sandhu ever since to everyone who is looking for dentist..This is our family dentist now. I visited dr sandhu and got my root canal done. I am very happy and satisfied with care and service i received from the front desk to dr Sandhu. Its been 4 months and i never had any problem with my root canal or the crown. All in all an excellent experience. I would recommend dr sandhu to anyone looking for any dental work. 🙂

I came to know about Dr. Sandhu from a friend. I went there for fillings. As you enter, the office looks great. It is very clean, beautiful, elegantly designed with wonderful interior decoration. Receptionists at the front desk were very helpful and courteous. Dr. Sandhu did my fillings. It was virtually painless. He is very soft speaker and knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with my dental work. I will recommend all my freinds to Dr. Sandhu. Michelle

It amazes me to see how tooth ache can ruin one’s day…..I was not able to work, sleep or eat, my tooth was aching so bad. I had no choice, but to go to a dentist. I was scared of them, but no choice, had to go….my tooth ache was killing me. I didn’t have the time to look for any dentist, so I landed at California Shine Dental….Oh my God! Dr. Sandhu is the best. He is a magician dentist. He examined my case, looked at it carefully (not in a rush), explained me the entire situation, showed me everything on a plasma TV so that I saw everything with my own eyes and then, started the treatment. My pain was gone. I will highly recommend him. California Shine Dental and Dr. Sandhu are the best. If you need a dentist, do not look further, go to California Shine Dental. I guarantee you will be happy with them.

I am new to the bay area and was looking for a dentist because I was having exuberating tooth ache. I found California Shine Dental as it was close to my home and I am so glad I found it. Dr. Sandhu is an awesome dentist. He was very helpful and my pain was gone as soon as he was done with the treatment. God Bless you, Dr. Sandhu! You are the best.

What can i say, they are simply the best in bay area. Dr Sandhu has that magic in his hands that even scaredy cats like me calm down. Whole family has been going to him for almost 10 yrs. Always had good experience. His office is very clean and modern and has fancy look ever since i asked them to change their old worn out sofa. Staff is very kind and takes care of insurance claims right away. Dr sandhu’ dad also helps him in running clinic and i can tell age is just a number for him. CSD is gem in evergreen area and we will continue to patronize them . Thanks Dr sandhu and team

Little bit of a different review as I was not a patient at California Shine Dental. I am an aspiring dentist finishing undergrad and was given the wonderful opportunity to shadow Dr. Sandhu even though I had no relation/connection to him! I started shadowing Dr. Sandhu in mid December, which is his most busy time of year due to everyone taking appointments to use their insurance before the end of the year, and was able to see him operating at his peak work load/most stressed. Regardless of how many patients he has to see in a day, Dr. Sandhu always makes an effort to connect with his patients in order to make them feel comfortable and works as efficiently as possible while still providing the best care possible. Although some previous reviewers have complained on some occasions about not being able to see the doctor for more than 15-20 minutes, that is honestly all the time this doctor needs in order to assess X-rays, identify any issues, and then treat most patients. That being said he does spend a greater amount of time with patients that have more issues and thus need more interventions and does not make you feel rushed if you have any questions or concerns. While on the chair Dr. Sandhu always makes sure to ask the patient from time to time if they are doing OK and notices if you are squirming or feel uncomfortable and either pauses or adjusts to help you feel more comfortable. All in all, I would highly recommend Dr. Sandhu and his team at California Shine Dental as they are the real deal and have the knowledge, equipment, experience, and compassion to give you a great experience! (If they don’t have the knowledge/equipment they will refer you to a a specialist and not try to upsell you!)

Dr. Sandhu and his team are the reason why my family and I have amazing pearly white smiles for the last almost ten years! He is very professional and friendly. If he notices a little chip or cavity during just a simple cleaning, he takes care of it right away. From the front reception area, to the dental chair, and back out everything is always smooth, clean, and fast. You won’t meet another kind hearted dentist like Dr. Sandhu in the area! Highly recommended even if you just need a simple dental cleaning!
