I love going to the dentist. However I’ve hated the few dentists I’ve seen in LA. They’re heavy-handed, do a rush job, leave me harassing voicemails saying I don’t have insurance and then the insurance people have to put them in their place; it’s just a mess. And then a friend mentioned his brother was a dentist. Ok, fine. That doesn’t mean he’s good. Upon checking yelp, I saw great reviews for Dr. Jordan and decided to go see him. Leanne, the sweet receptionist, made sure all my ducks were in a row prior to my arrival. Where I lacked insurance ID or provider, she had it all. Thank you! Angel did the X-rays and the cleaning. Talk about thorough. I didn’t think it would take him much time since I floss. Clearly I’m not flossing well enough. Angel scraped off whatever he could then brushed my grill. I felt great, nothing hurt, no bleeding, and I’m looking forward to my next appt. After Angel was done with me, I met Dr. Jordan. Super nice guy. Introduced himself, asked about my plans for the rest of the day (I was there at 8am), my weekend, and put me at ease. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed, and that was refreshing. Doc took pics of my teeth with a cool gadget I’d never seen, then went over the photos and X-rays. I’ve never had a dentist pinpoint where I should be flossing. The take home message is floss and floss everywhere, but Dr. Jordan explained how an old cavity might have compromised a neighboring tooth so I should pay more attention to that area. To make this long story short, after 6 years of being in Los Angeles, I’m happy to say I finally found my dentist!

I had an excellent experience at Dr Jordan’s dental office. I brought my son in for a couple of fillings. It was his first time and he was a little nervous, but the nurse was so calm and patient with him that he felt comfortable right away. I was really grateful for her friendly attitude. Dr. Jordan is quick, efficient, professional, and extremely Pleasant. He obviously has a lot of experience with children, because he was so natural with my son. The work was completed quickly, and looked great. The front desk service is top-notch. I was helped right when I walked in, and the girl at the front desk made sure that I had my detailed receipt, and an appointment card for my next visit before I left. She really removed all of the awkwardness of a doctor’s appointment, and I appreciate that. They have flexible hours and very clean office. I will definitely continue to take my son here. Keep up the good work!

I don’t like going to see a dentist!! I hate the experience! Now let me tell you my opinion objectively. The support staff is wonderful, very friendly, professional, and helpful. Where do I start? I love, love, love this dental office for so many reasons. First of all the administration team is phenomenal.. Everyone is so professional, kind and caring.. They all really want to make sure you are taken care of from the moment you walk in their door.. Now for the Team of Dentists…. wow. They are above and beyond educationally trained and do an exceptional job on whatever dental treatment is needed.. Today I had a crown started and I was taken care of by Dr. Jordan. He is so kind and gentle. I didn’t even feel the novacane at all… I’m going back on Monday to have my teeth whitened and I can’t wait… oh, they did front veneers on my husband and WOW, he is a new man.. We both LOVE them. I’ve been coming for a couple of years now, and the office is still top notch, friendly, professional, and DAMN talented folk. Dr. Jordan did an incredible job repairing the work of a previous dentist, and he fixed a chipped tooth. He was in and out in under 45 minutes and I was remarkably pain free for my afternoon shift (Both a good and a bad thing, as I was prepared to ‘call out sick’ if misery was in my mouth — instead I keep my work shift, which makes the boss and wallet happy.) Michelle was a great help in setting up a follow up, and everyone was all smiles. This is the ‘Cheers Bar’ of the dental community, where everyone knows your name. It’s remarkable when I casually mention something happening in life and 6 months later, they ask me how ‘fill in the blank’ went; how do they maintain that recall with so many patients. The other thing to note is how well run the office is – in all the times visiting, I never have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. I remain a totally satisfied client.

I have been a patient of Dr. Jordan for over a decade now, but was my first time visiting this office. I was really impressed with the office to say the least. Staff was super friendly yet very professional. I was taken in at the exact time my appointment was scheduled for. I noticed how detailed oriented this office is from the beginning of my session with them. Each teeth is measured individually and records are kept to see any ongoing trends with your teeth and gum in order to get a head start on preventive processes if need be. My overall experince with my visit was amazing and I can’t wait to return again for my check up in 6 months.

So I use Yelp all the time but I’ve never posted a review, been wanting to but usually after few hours life catches on and you forget! So tonight kids are sleeping I have few min of relaxing time by myself so I looked back and reflected on the week that past by, thought to myself what was the most positive thing I did ? One answer came to mind after few years of not visiting the dentist got a recommendation through a friend to make an appointment with Dr Jordan for a cleaning and an exam. Obviously very nervous about what I was gonna find out. The Staff was amazing helpful made me feel like I’ve known them for years! Angela was my hygienist she was amazing my teeth feel super clean I almost didn’t want to eat anything to get them dirty. Dr Jordan did my exam his the nicest dentist you can imagine! This guy is a miracle worker! I can’t believe I have waited this long to write this review. I was in LA this summer for a much needed vacation when I had an unfortunate dental emergency. I perused yelp for the best dentist in the area and made an appointment. I told them it was an emergency and they took me in right away. I don’t have insurance, but it was still pretty cheap compared to what I pay here in Chicago. Everyone in the office was really nice and I felt comfortable in a dental office for the first time in my life. Every time I visit the dentist, I consider letting my teeth fall out. I wish I could teleport this guy to the midwest. Do yourselves a favor and switch doctors, you won’t regret it.

So I’m teaching my son how to ride a bike and running behind him, when he slams on the brakes and to avoid grinding him into the cement because I can’t stop, I launched over the top of him, and came down teeth first on the cement. Both my front teeth were missing pieces. My wife called their office, as that was one of the only ones open on Saturday, and they fit me in THAT DAY! Not only that, but he fixed my teeth better than what they looked like before. Pain wise… ZERO. He was amazing. Some dentists give you novacaine and the way they do it is more painful than the procedure. With Dr. Farless I barely even felt a prick. Highly highly highly recommended, but only if YOU coming to him doesn’t affect MY ability to get in and see him regularly 🙂

Just started going to the dentist again and i couldn’t be happier to have found Canada dental! Ericka the receptionist is a ray of sunshine, she is friendly and knowledgeable! She’s on top of everything with insurances/payments and really works to make sure you don’t pay out of pocket more than you should! She has great customer service skills! Anita the dental assistant is also very friendly and Dr. Jordan is the best. He goes over everything in detail and actually explains what he’s going to do, which is nice because then you know what to expect in terms of results, discomfort level, recovery, and next steps. The dental heigenist is also great, very thorough. I would definitely recommend all my friends and family to go here for their dental needs!

To start, Id like to say that I came to this clinic over 4 years ago and have been blessed with great quality work from Dr. Jordan. They are so tactful and gentle to work that even a shot of anesthesia will be nothing. Today I got 3 fillings and I was falling asleep…lol. I came from experimenting with so many clinics And almost giving up on dentists due to my fear, the costs and the low quality work that I got done. Until I discovered Canada Dental Group one day I was dying in pain and they took me in that same day! This is a dental office that will know you and your family by your first name and make you feel like family. Appointments are sacred here!!! You have your appointment at 1PM, you will be in the office no later than 1:05 PM. The front office staff is super helpful. Erika and Nina are always very amicable and warm. The hygienists are amazing. Also very gentle and highly informative. Your treatment plan, you decide how you want to go about getting things done and they won’t be trying to shove any little thing to make you spend spend spend. They are a highly professional and ethical staff. I look forward to continuing having Canada Dental group and Dr. Minas as a part of my family’s wellbeing and oral health.

A friend recommended me to this place and I must say I am very happy with them. First off $ 69 (1st time) for the X-rays, exam, and cleaning is amazing and the price for the other visits I think is $80. I don’t have dental insurance so this is a BIG deal for me. Now, there is no reason for me not to get a checkup every 6 months. Making an appointment was easy and the receptionist was very nice and friendly. I was able to get an appointment two days later. Awesome! They took X-rays and a few pictures of my teeth, which they put up on a screen in front so you can actually see everything the dentist is talking about. Dr. Jordan was very friendly and caring and throughly talked with me about a few issues I was having and my options. He did a great job cleaning my teeth and it wasn’t painful (yay!). So, if you are checking out reviews on dentists, just go here. You and your teeth won’t regret it. TIPS: They are open Saturdays…. so seriously, you have no excuse not to go. The place doesn’t seem to have a lot of parking behind the building so if you park anywhere else check the time limits and the tow away signs. It’s near GCC so don’t park where you shouldn’t because they have parking enforcement all over and they are pretty fast.

I’ve been a patient for almost 3 years. I’ve been treated by Dr. Minas, Dr. Jordan and Dr. Gregorian and trust all of them explicitly with my oral care. I had a botched root canal fixed, crown replaced, filling repaired, Invisalign and numerous cleanings. Angela is my hygienist. My experience has always been pleasant and satisfied one. I have been coming to Canada Dental for about 2 years now through a family friend’s referral. I have had a few emergency dental issues that required immediate attention and the staffs there were able to squeeze me in for an appointment on the same day or the next day. The office is very clean and the wait is not that long, usually within 5 to 10 minutes. Dr. Jordan and the office staffs are very friendly and professional. Dr. Jordan is very knowledgeable and personal, and will never try to upsell their products/services like some other dental offices that I have been to. He is also very detailed oriented and will take whatever time it needs to work on your teeth to make sure that everything is done properly. I have never experienced any pain or discomfort after getting dental work done with him. OK here is the scoop…Canada Dental I Luv It!! Finding a good dentist in LA I always thought was pretty much impossible …Well I found a great one! I was actually tipped off to Dr Jordan at Canada Dental by a close friend that could not say enough good things about him I figured how good can this Dentist be so I called up right away for a checkup and a cleaning to see for myself.. Well the practice was sharp clean and modern great decor all new equipment very clean and just the right music playing for a dental visit, Bee Gees Carpenters actually pretty relaxing… I was greeted by Leanne who was very accommodating and friendly she ran my x-rays using the latest software so you could see clear images on a large screen. Dr Arthur Jordan came in very friendly and took the time to explain every aspect of what he would be doing this dentist was about as thorough as you can get I was actually pretty impressed he even took digital photos of all my teeth for visual. Dr Jordan then started the cleaning and I have to say I have never had such a thorough cleaning as I received from this dentist he really took his time and it was with no doubt the best cleaning I have ever had, he also stopped every now and then guiding me to to certain areas that I should concentrate on when brushing and explained why and how to avoid later issues in the future. I not only strongly recommend you go to this dentist but if you do not you are really missing out on a great dentist that actually seems to care he is super thorough and you naturally feel his honesty, I promise you you will feel great go for a cleaning and then tell me I was right..

I got the best Root Canal procedure ever, Dr. Grigorian was so patient with me, since I had a not so pleasant experience with my past dentist In another dental office. I explained to him, how sensitive I am when it comes to getting an injection. He respected that and was absolutely patient, not to mention the root canal procedure, which was done perfectly. Dr. Jordan did a great job on doing a new crown. I am forever thankful and extremely pleased with La Canada Dental and praise them for being so professional. OK…So I woke up with what I considered a “Dental Emergency”, with a Large Bridge coming detached from my Mouth…after an EXTREMELY frustrating morning, ATTEMPTING to find a sympathetic Dental office in the area, to No Avail…(Big Surprise there…)…I found THIS office on YELP. (I had to confirm, that she wasn’t the “service”, I was relieved AND surprised). …Michelle made me an appt. for 9:30, I came in @ 9, did my paperwork and was IMMED. seen by the relaxing & VERY Professional Doc.Jordan and his Pretty, Professional Asst..(I realllly wish I got her name!) 🙂 Anyway..I have MAJOR & EXTREME dental “Phobias”…and was shaking when I got in the chair…The Doc put me at ease Immediately! Also, since I didnt have the funds, Michelle was VERY VERY understanding AND workable with me and my Girl…making it easy to arrange payment from afar…The doc fixed me up right away, and was VERY Meticulous & Gentle….Yay!!! I Found a Dentist (& office staff) that actually CARES!! …. & even though I freak out with any/all dental care….I WILL go back for the care I really Do need!! But more importantly everyone was incredibly nice, accommodating, sociable, knowledgeable and confident. I personally had an awesome experience and wish I had been coming here more consistently. At the very least I will now. Better late than never! Can’t recommend this place enough! My review and experience here sounds very similar to Princess R’s review. Angel is a great hygienist and does an amazingly thorough job. There is another hygienist whose name escapes me (a female who works on tuesdays) whose also just as great. My teeth feel so velvety and smooth after they get cleaned here. Dr. Jordan is really gentle on your gums and teeth. He is also really friendly and cheerful, which definitely helps patients who are scared of going to the dentist. LeeAnn (the receptionist) is so awesome as well! She always returns your calls right away and tries her best to schedule you in. There are some shady dentists in LA who suggest unnecessary treatments just so they can bill your insurance, but I that definitely doesn’t happen at Canada dental. I highly recommend this place.
