I was referred to this dentistry by my boyfriend who had an amazing experience. I went on first, second, and third visit and I must say that I really enjoy their company, the shots almost gave me a heart attack but that is just me, I tend to freak out with any shots specially at the dentist. They were able to talk to me throughout the shots and I finally relaxed. The Dentist is very knowledgeable, Intelligent, empathetic, and super sweet. The entire staff is super friendly. I confide 100% in Dr. Harounian.

Amazing results! The dentist and staff were incredibly patient and understanding with me listening to my concerns about having sensitive teeth. I was looking for a dentist that would take my dental insurance which is delta dental. So I looked on yelp and found stanford dental group in downtown los angeles. They had nice reviews and the location was easy for me. They had free valet parking. I love that because I hate to look for parking in the downtown la are. The doctor was really cool and made me feel safe and comfortable. I paid nothing out of pocket. If you work in downtown and have ppo or hmm insurance you should go here. This doctor is the best.

I should start with stating the fact that I am not a huge fan of going to the dentist, lol. With that said I made an appointment here and was presently surprised how soon they could get me in for a visit. When I arrived for my visit I was greeted by very friendly staff. They apparently don’t overbook like many offices do, I did not wait long at all. I had X-ray’s and a filling done and I don’t think it was more then maybe 45 min and I was finished and back making another appointment at the front.

I could not ask for an easier more painless procedure. They told me the implant placement would take the surgeon around 5 to 10 minutes. But I did not believe them. I thought they were just saying that to convince me to get it done. It seriously took longer to get me numb than it took to place the implant. I thought that was placed on the gas and that’s why I had no memories of what was done on me. And he said if you want pay extra for general anesthesia you can. I am so happy I got this done. I was so paranoid about it. Thank you everyone. Keep up the good work!

When you are able to say that having gone to the dentist was a positive, nice, pleasant experience… that’s saying a lot! The office is very open and pleasant and in a great area, everyone that works here is super professional and nice. I found the office on yelp, Since it was near my work. I was impressed with the high star rating, but when I read some of the negative reviews that they had generated over the years I got nervous. But then I thought it doesn’t matter how good a bussiness is, there will always be people that are not happy no matter what you do. I have already been in for three visits, everything has gone super well. The wait is very little to none. Everything was explained to me very clearly. I highly approve of this office.

Single veneer done, very happy I read the flawless reviews on here, and went to their office based on the reviews and also because she is cosmeticly trained. I needed to replace an awkwardly shaped veneer in the front of my mouth, and wanted to find the best cosmetic dentist in the area to do it. All I can say is, I am *extremely* pleased with the work she did. I have been to a lot of dentists, and have never been to a dentist that has paid more careful attention to detail, with both general dental care as well as aesthetics. I only wanted one veneer done. I could have a more symmetric smile with additional veneers, but didn’t want more veneers in my mouth than necessary. While discussing my options with Dr. Angel, I expressed that I simply preferred to replace my old (yellow) veneer with a new one. After looking at my teeth, she told me that he could make it work well, and explained how she would do it. Needless to say, she did an amazing job. The color of the veneer is great, as well as the shape. I trusted her opinion and expertise, and am very glad I did. The veneer is in the front of my mouth, and I can not express how much more confidence I have when I smile now.

I found historic core the same way I found the other office, online. but this time I looked into it a little deeper I checked their reviews not just on yelp but on Google, health grades and everywhere else. They were truly ligit. I decided to give them a chance. The operation was very smooth and straight forward I got the same work done at 6000. From the manager, to the assistants, to the higienist, to the dentists, and the owner dentist that placed my implant, everything went super smooth. They get a 5 star from me.

Canby Dental is the best dental office! I made my first appointment in Feb 2020 using ZocDoc app (booked underaunder Dentist Angel Harounian) and the appointment was fast, easy to make and booked right away. Since then I have had several dental visits for cleaning, crown and whitening trays, so I can give an honest and accurate review of my experiences. ALL of the staff are warm and pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. And they use a Bubblegum polish that tastes so yummy. I was given excellent prices for the crown and whitening trays, and the quality of work is excellent!

This is for all you ‘friady cats’ out there. Your search is over. The Dental professionals in this office are the best! A few weeks ago, I went in for a broken bicuspid that was hanging on to dear life by a thread. My Sister recommended her Dentist, so I made an appointment. I found the consultation to be complete and informative. They went over all the options with me including implant replacement. Unlike some Dentists who usually try to push for the most expensive treatment, they did not. After hearing their recommendations, I opted to go with the implant and scheduled a subsequent visit with their Oral Surgeon. As the appointment date drew near, I was fearing the worst. I assumed the worst possible scenario with pain, being unable to eat and God knows what else… Turns out, I was worried for nothing. Aside from the initial anesthetic injection (which does suck), I had ZERO pain throughout the procedure, immediately after, the next day and the following week! I was eating the same day after the anesthetic wore off. I was amazed! Absolutely, no pain! In fact, I never used the prescribed pain medication. I credit this, to the skill of the Dentists and Oral Surgeon that looked after me. So, stop putting off dental work because of your fears. Give these professionals a try. They are now my Dentists for life and I highly recommend them. I’m a real person and this is a legitimate review. MV.

This morning I woke up with a crazy tooth ache and a swollen face. As much as I hate the dental office I was forced to go in. I called this office and told them that I need an urgent appointment. They told me that I could go in then. I was under the impression that they would make me wait for a long time before I am seen. That did not happen. The dentists came to my rescue right away eventhough they looked to be very busy with other patients. Everyone in the office was super nice and I was treated the same day. Got my tooth extracted and bone grafted the same day. I need to go back to him in a few months to place my implant. The office offered me a discount plan once they found out I have no insurnace. The prices were very reasonable (dental fees are a bitch, no matter how reasonable they are they are damn too expensive). But at least in comparison to what I have been quoted before it made a lot of sense.

I went in to this office since the location was conveniently located next to where I work. Initially I was hesitant to go in. It’s always scary to go to a new doctor specially a dentist for the first time. Before I called to make an appointment, I checked them out on Yelp and did a background search on the dentists and the office. All I saw was positive feedback all across the board. I went in for an invisalign consult. Everything was nicely explained to me. They mentioned all the fees up front and any hidden fees that may arise in the future. I felt like I could trust the dentist and the staff. Dr. Angel talked me into getting my wisdom teeth removed before I finish my invisalign treatment. I was convinced and made the appointment. Looking forward to getting my dental work done here.

I went here a few months ago to get a cleaning and get antibiotics for my impacted wisdom teeth, which were causing me severe discomfort. I was delaying getting them extracted as my former dentist referred me to an oral surgeon that estimated the cost for removal of all 4 teeth would be about 3,500 dollars – out of pocket. I have PPO, but apparently it wasn’t covered so I just dealt with the pain. Luckily, I came here and the dentists explained my extractions were necessary and not complicated enough to warrant a specialist visit. They were willing to take them out right then and there, but I couldn’t take off work for recovery time. However, I was able to reschedule and I could only come in on a Saturday and they didn’t have availability when I called, but the receptionist was able to fit me in that very week. This was in the midst of the COVID safer at home orders. Just to emphasize, THEY PERFORMED MY EXTRACTIONS DURING A PANDEMIC when every other clinic was closed. I am now almost fully healed and barely experienced any pain! If you want quality, straightforward, and affordable dental care. This is the place to go! Thank you!

I came across this office through invisalign provider search on invisalign website for a second opinion on clear braces. I was really pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the dentist. This office gets a perfect score from me. First of all they communicate through text which is a big deal for me as I truly don’t have the time to ply all on the phone. Second they allow online scheduling which is a true blessing. When you go in, you can see that they are stressing over seeing you on time. That says to me that they value my time. The dentists are very professional in explaining the treatment and put you at ease. The staff is nice and friendly. Office is modern and clean. Above all they accept my dental insurance. If it quality professional dental care that you are after, coupled with stellar customer service and professional dental assistants that assist in procedures, then this is the place for you. Both Dr. Sooferi and Dr. Haroumain are in the top tier of providers of dentistry. Both Drs. take their time in identifying the issue(s), explain in depth what is necessary, and have that “touch” that turns what you may feel is a dental nightmare into a “well that was not all that bad to have done”. Both Drs. are personally invested to ensure that their patients receive the best dental care. The Office Manager, Anna C., is kind, courteous, professional and is usually the first person who will greet you when you come into the office with a warm smile, works with you on insurance issues, is patient and even comes into the dental procedure area to check up on the patients to see how they are doing (What other Office Manager does that?). The dental assistant, Adrian B., whom I am lucky to have as the dental assistant on procedures, likewise is a “can do guy”, very meticulous in the service he provides and as he is providing the service “walks” you thru what is going on so that you have an understanding (What other dental assistant does that?) I have had my fair share of dentist over the years, and without hesitation can say that this Dental Office outshines other LA Dental Offices and the services that are offered.

I went to this office because I saw them advertising Invisalign on their window and I really needed a second opinion on Invisalign. I was initially very hesitant to go in. It’s very awkward for me to go to a new office not knowing who the dentist is and how their work is but once I saw the sign on the door saying visit us on yelp, I was way more comfortable about going in. I have been going to Historic Core Dental for years. Their facility is clean, their staff is friendly and competent and Dr.Angel and Sooferi have provided great dental care, even through some repairs of previously botched dental fillings. Dr. Angel is extremely precise and detailed in her cleaning work and is always knowledgeable and demonstrative (through explanations of X-rays) about when there are issues and what needs to happen. The receptionist is the best, she was so helpful with all my insurance needs. The Hygienist takes such great care of you and tells you everything that you need to know about your teeth plus more.
