I feel so lucky that I landed in this office, they’re the friendliest people ever and have the best doctors in town. I had an ongoing tooth ache so I called them. The lady on the phone suggested if I could wait and come on the day the specialist is there with the doctor so that I could finish everything in one day, maybe 2 appointments. Unfortunately I had to get a root canal and crown, AGAIN (bad teeth, runs in my family). I can’t believe they finished everything in one day, I was there for like 4 hours, but didn’t have to go back. The specialist did my root canal and the first doctor made me a crown same day that came out of their magic crown maker CERK or something like that. Last times I had a root canal done, I had to go back 4-5 times! Don’t want to go through this again, but I’ll always go back here and highly recommend it.

Some people see the dentist as a dread, because all the waiting prior to even being attended, not here. This place is quick, yet very attentive and super friendly! Had an amazing experience, staff were enjoyable to interact with, polite, and understandable. I had broken a tooth and went to this dental group for the first time. I had a root canal. I felt NOTHING and was sooooooooo comfortable! I seriously almost fell asleep. I didn’t even feel the shots of Novocain! Their bedside manner is WONDERFUL!!!! They made me laugh and I don’t dread or worry about my impending dental work. Gina and all the office people are so accommodating. I was in and out in an hour! LOVE it there!

This is a dental office that has AMAZING staff and the most caring and AMAZING Doctors in all of Santa Clarita Valley. The women up front are welcoming and make sure your needs are met. I have no idea why there are a few single stars on some people’s reviews. I have been using this office for quite a few years now. Dr. Terry, Dr. Ashley, Monica,are very professional at what they do, Alexa and Star are exceptional at their posts as Receptionist and Benefits Coordinator. The clinic personal are very friendly and explain what procedures they are performing on you. All the staff here are exceptional. So what is all this discord I read about? Possibly these people who had a bad experience didn’t have it go the way they wanted. Yes, it can hurt in the wallet. But you can always go somewhere else to have a quack dentist mess with your teeth. It is true that you get what you pay for. This is why most people who use dentists like this office come out smiling (after the Novocaine wears off) 🙂

It has been about 7 years since my last visit to the dentist. My last experiences with a dentist’s office were awful and had kept me from returning to any office. I recently broke a tooth and was in desperate need to get it fixed. Canyon Country Dental came highly recommended to me and so I set up an appointment. What a wonderful experience! I have been a patient of Canyon Country Dental Group for over 5 years. I LOVE that office!!!!! They are courteous, friendly and just plain old fun. I love the staff and the owner/ dentist. I have always received good service and excellent dental care there. It took me 6 years and 3 root canals (at a different office) to find this dental office. I went to canyon country dental to have a routine cleaning and my wisdom teeth extracted. I received a warm welcome right as I walked in the front door which was really nice. The entire staff seemed friendly and attentive. I barely waited in the waiting room before my name was called . After the operation, they made sure I was alright and that I wasn’t experiencing much pain which showed me they really cared. I saw a mix of good and bad reviews, but I had a broken wisdom tooth and the Oral Surgeon was in that office today, so I called. I had no issues, they gave me a 10:00 am appointment at 8:30 the same day. Everyone on staff was super nice, made conversation and calmed me down. I was seen first by Nguyen and she was great, then met with Koury, the surgeon, who was honest about the risks, but made me feel very comfortable. I was out within seconds and woke up to no pain (which I guess is to be expected), but even 11 hours later I feel pretty good. If there was any negative feedback, I vaguely remember them telling me I need to wake up, multiple times. As if I’m somehow in control after being drugged. A little more sympathy would have been nice, but other than that, outstanding.

Let’s face it: no one likes to go to the dentist….lol! But, if you gotta go somewhere, I recommend Canyon Country Dental. I’ve been going here for almost 15 years. I’ve had many fillings, crowns, cleanings, you name it!!! They are kind, patient, professional, and always willing to explain Insurance Benefits, covered services, options, etc. They also have different payment options for patients. I love that they bring in their own Specialists for things like Root Canals, Ortho, etc. You will be in the best hands-whatever your dental needs! (The office staff is also great!)

Dr Raffi Partamian is hands down the best Orthodontist ever. After a lifetime of never needing braces (lucky girl) I noticed my lower front teeth, slightly, starting to crowd. So I decided to do straighten my teeth back to it former glory. Fees were good and they took my insurances so it was a no brainer. Well needless to say by day two I was experiencing some serious discomfort (movement began) and my inter lip was raw and cut up. WAX PLEASE It was 6pm when my phone rang…Yep, it was Dr Partamian calling to check up on me. What a impressive yet simple gesture to show me his genuine care for me and my treatment. This is a lost quality in many doctors today, so it’s nice to see that there are still a few out there! And Marg his assistant was great too. Friendly staff.

I love this office. They have a very friendly staff. I went in for an exam because I needed major treatment done. They were very organized and thorough. The dentist explained everything and even came back and checked up on me twice and asked if I have any questions while I was waiting for the front to figure out my insurance. I got a same day crown that day, and returned for more extensive work on the other side. Overall, I am very happy with my experience.

I visited the dentist for the third time in my life early January 2018 to consult about removing my braces. They were on my teeth for 14 years due to my own neglect. I consulted with several locations in the Santa Clarita area and I was advised extensive dental work was urgently needed to restore my dental health. I remember being embarrassed about my smile on that initial consultation, but the staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was warm and cheerful. I had the following done beginning June 2018 all by Canyon Country Dental Group: Braces removal (finally), 3 rotting wisdom teeth removed, a root canal, 4 crown zirconia bridge (that I simply love), beautiful inlay/onlay applications, deep cleaning/maintenance, tons of cavities removed etc. I can honestly say that Dr. Nguyen and her staff are phenomenal. I felt no pain, not once, not even after the dreaded root canal. I would like to thank my Hygienist Monica for keeping my breath “fresh and clean” and Dee, Dee for making my beautiful CEREC crowns. The front desk is nice as well. Never any issues with my payments. It is an investment and I knew that going into my journey. Thank you Kanisha for making the finance side hassle free (I know I butchered the spelling of your name). I am almost done with my dental work and will write a follow up review in the near future.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like I had to say something about the excellent care and treatment that I received at Canyon Country Dental. I had a dental emergency, after regular hours, and gave Dr. Nguyen’s office a call. They responded amazingly and within half an hour I was in the office getting my broken tooth fixed. Dr. Nguyen dropped everything just to come in and help me. I am always impressed with the care, compassion and excellent service that Dr. Nguyen and her staff provides. It’s always a pleasure to visit her. If you are looking for a better dentist — I can highly recommend her.

Dr. Ben Pourmorady is one of the kindest and very gentle. He really communicates well and cares about the comfort of his patients. Very professional but also down to earth. His team is amazing! All the front desk people, insurance and staff are helpful and kind. The woman in charge of billing and insurance really knows her stuff and that is extremely important to me. They answer all your questions and are very efficient. The assistants and technicians that work through out are also above and beyond friendly and they know their jobs well. Julie, Dee Dee, and Tanisha to name a few are just amazing and I was so scared before coming in but they are comfortable and knowledgeable so your completely at ease. The hygienist was also amazing. So the staff is a lot to brag about but they also have new technology so getting a crown is easier and faster. Today I went for a root canal treatment . It was done very efficiently . Dr Ramin Khalili was the endodontist . He recommended root canal treatment with antibiotics. His partner Dr VADIM took great care to make sure the area was properly anesthetized. Dr KHALILI completed the root canal treatment . I had no pain . He answered my questions. If u are wondering about cost , total estimate for 1 root canal was $ 1000. My out of pocket cost $ 600 .

I just have to say that Canyon Country Dental Group is the best! Dr. Ahuja saw my husband (who doesn’t like the dentist) and she made him feel very comfortable. He needed a bridge but didnt want to do impressions (super bad gag reflex). She said no problem! They did digital impressions which were basically photos/video of his teeth and sent them to the lab electronically! He only had to wait 7days to get the permanent bridge cemented. Not to mention the staff there made us feel very welcome, they were prompt with getting him in and out in a matter of an hour, temporary and all. And cementing the permanent only took about 30 mins!!! We will definitley be going back and telling all our family and friends. Thank you Canyon Country Dental and Dr. Ahuja!

Only read this if YOU ARE AFRAID!!! (Note: I read over reviews of CC Dental Group to find far fewer reviews on Yelp in comparison to “Smilegeneration”, a trusted dental referral site, that reflects 4 out of 5 stars from 193 reviews.) I have been a patient here for several years now (see my review from 3/18/2011 on this website). I “Dislike” going to any dentist, whatsoever, but I am faithful to go every 6 months for my checkup and cleaning BECAUSE I dislike the dentist so much – the better care I take, the less trouble. However, my previous nightmare dental experiences with another dentist have crept up out of the dark abyss when my front tooth crown came off. I showed up at the door step of Canyon Country Dental Group without an appointment and was immediately ushered into a room for Dr. Nguyen to take a look. Now, fear opens the flood gates (yes, I’m sobbing) and I am anxiety ridden and confirming to myself that I need psychiatric help due to what most would consider over-reacting, by far. Now (in short), EACH & EVERY employee that came in contact with me was kind, gentle and caring. They were reassuring me every moment (gave me a “free” 😉 box of Kleenex that I emptied – yes, I’m that bad!) and made me feel like I’m not being unreasonable about my extreme fear – even though I am. Dr. Nguyen had an appointment-filled day but still managed, with a smile, to assist my every need. We had several problems to face to get me out the door not looking “toothless” and Dr. Nguyen’s creativity got me there. I have a lot more work to go through but feel a sense of peace now that I am in the hands of Canyon Country Dental Group. Yes, I very much dislike all dentists but I love and appreciate mine!

Before I started going to Canyon Country Dental Group I was deathly afraid of dentists. I have been a patient now for more than 7 years, have overcome my fears due to the “bedside manner” that was so helpful to me and in being able to feel comfortable with all my treatments. Dr. Nguyen has gone out of her way to make me feel less stressed and for the first time in my life I can honestly say “I really like my dentist and look forward to my appointments”. Like many who have given 5 stars despite some of the reviews, I too found Canyon Country Dental Group to be professional, honest and reasonable in pricing. Folks, if you’ve got crappy insurance then it’s really not the dentist fault. I too once had crappy insurance and decided to change it to PPO high option. I know everyone can’t afford that but, taking care of your teeth just isn’t cheap, PERIOD! That being said, Dr. Connie Lee did a great job deciphering the xrays, explaining the procedures needed and then sent Kaniesha in to go over the cost. There was absolutely no up selling involved, plus the questionnaire I completed asked why I left my old dentist which absolutely was the fees and being up charged. Dr. Lee was fantastic and has a soothing voice and soft touch. I’d say give the place a try and just be honest about financial concerns

Dr. Fernandez and Dee Dee are the best. I travel over an hour just to see them. They are so conscientious and thorough in my treatment. And my comfort is always at the top of their list. I recommend them 100%. I also needed an extraction and Dr. Habashy, the oral surgeon, is great. He needed to remove an old crown before he could pull the tooth. He made sure I was fully anesthetized before he started and I never felt a thing. This is an all around great dental office.
A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
I feel the greatest satisfaction when my patients leave with a smile on their faces. A patient came in with a big infection on his left side and had no money but said that his Insurance through his company wouldn't kick in until next month. I did the work anyway, seeing that he was in so much pain. A month later, the patient came back and he thanked me and was so glad that he had found a dentist who really cared. I ended up doing major treatment on him. Needless to say, he is still my patient. Dr. Nguyen and her husband have been married for 14 years and have 2 children. She enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking and camping.
