I always have liked going to Capitol Dental. They have a very friendly, professional staff, and their office has a warm, and comfortable atmosphere. I went in to have my teeth cleaned, this time. The procedure went very well. Their Hygienist, Michelle, explained everything to me, as she went along, that made me feel very confident that I was in capable hands. Christa is amazing! I’ve seen her twice now and she always makes sure I’m comfortable. She is thorough in her cleaning and listens to my concerns around my dental hygiene and answers all of my questions. She even went the extra mile to ensure that I was getting all of the care I deserve when she completed an assessment and found I should be getting cleanings more often. Always very happy with my experience at Capitol Dental as I’m a “Dental Mental” who is really trying very hard to get my teeth back in shape. They are not judgemental but always encouraging. So this month, I’ve had a abscessed tooth, root canal and today a crown so I’ve been there a lot and always appreciate their professionalism towards each other. After my procedure today, my dentist complimented the assistants work and thank her … I liked hearing that!

Lost a crown Wednesday night and staying at a hotel and away from my usual dentist, I was somewhat worried that I would have to suffer until I returned home in another week. Went to the web to search for a dentist near where I worked. Saw all the great reviews, called, explained my problem and was seen that same day. Treated me like a full time patient. Couldn’t have been any nicer, and took care of the problem and sent me on my way. Don’t know if I will eventually end up in Boise full time, but if I do I have found my dentist. Thanks to Dr. Doyle and his staff!

I’ve been going here for many years and now as an adult I’ve had the same good experiences with this dental office. All the staff is accomidating and understanding. I am well informed of what is going on and how much everything costs beforehand. I appreciate their business and it makes going to the dentist a lot let stressful knowing they are there to help. I’ve had some awful experiences seeing dentists over the years, however, Dr. Doyle and the crew at Capitol Dental are simply amazing! I’ve never, ever, had the actual dentist call me after an appointment to see how I was feeling. Later, when I needed to schedule an appointment, I called the number the Dr. called me from…it was his own personal number. I was shocked, I said, oh I didn’t realize this was your personal number. Dr. Doyle asked me if I had the office number, I didn’t, so he gave me the number. In terms of knowledge and skill, Dr. Doyle and the supportive staff have consistently demonstrated a degree of professionalism and competency that I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Lastly, I make less than $35,000 a year and have no dental insurance. I explained this to them and they discussed with me the various routes we could take and the type of billing arrangement they could make. Bottom line: I trust Dr. Doyle and his crew with my teeth and have recommended him on many occasions.

I posted earlier about my hopes that Dr. Doyle would help my TMJ pain that I have had for many years.  It is so exciting for me to let everyone know my pain is gone.  After Dr. Mooney retired I thought I was a lost cause, but Dr. Doyle in the same office (Capitol Dental) took over and it is such a great miracle.  Thank you so much Dr. Doyle!!  Congratulations on the best Dental office for 2014 in the Treasure Valley!

My Family and I were visiting from California. My daughter was having pain for toothaches to the point she didn’t wanna do anything. We were referred to Capitol Dental by my sister in law who works there and made an appointment for the following day. Dental staff was able to assess, provide a solution, and remedy my daughters pain within one hour. My daughter was able to enjoy the rest of our vacation in Idaho thanks to the great people at Capitol Dental. Would give 100 stars, if possible!!! Highly recommend this Dentistry to anyone!!! I would strongly recommend Capitol Dental.  From the front desk reception to the dental hygienist “Wytney”  and Dentists “Dr Doyle”… Everyone is so pleasant and concerned for my well being.  I had an urgent situation and they told me to come right in.  When I got to the office they were so responsive and treated me just like I had made the appointment a month prior.  They alleviated my painful situation and I am more than happy that I have chose them as my Dental office for years.

I can’t even begin to explain how much I love my Dentist, Dr. Doyle. I am a TOUGH case to handle because of how paranoid I am of dentists… he is ALWAYS patient and manages my neuroses very well. The billing staff is always able to work out payment arrangements and have even given me loyalty discounts. The hygentist team is also amazing- I see Diedre but Brandi has also seen me and been wonderful. There couldn’t possibly be a more comfortable dentist to go to. PS- you get to watch the squirrels and birds in the feeders while you get your teeth worked on! Yay!

If you are looking for a hygienist, ask for Sam. He is the BEST hygienist is the USA. Not only is he very professional, but my teeth ACTUALLY felt clean. He was nice very to talk to and made my anxious nerves go away. He also got my teeth cleaned on time. In the past, my hygienists have always taken SO long to clean my teeth, I usually scheduled the rest of the day off. But with Sam, I can confidently make my appointment knowing I will be out in a timely manner. Thank you Sam for your positive energy!

I have always been one of those people who have gone dentist to dentist, dissatisfied with each one. I am that person no longer! I came here for a root canal and the service was fantastic. They talked it all out with me and made sure they answered all my questions. Very polite. I really don’t like needles and when I’ve told dentists this in the past, it didn’t seem to change much. But here, he was very sensitive about it. Did it really slow and I hardly felt a thing! I love these guys and will be going there for all my future dental needs!

I just moved to Boise back in August. I have bad luck with my teeth and I’m paying for mistakes I’ve made 16+ years ago. Dealing with tooth pain really blows and I’m the type of person that waits till the last minute to get dental work taken care of. And it’s usually because I’m in serious pain and can’t sleep at night. I bit the bullet (no pun intended) and told myself to just freakin’ go already! I google’d for dental firm reviews in Boise and discovered tons of negative results. I see Capitol Dental on here with one good review, so I decided to give it a shot. Let me first just say that it truly amazed me how well this staff understood and sympathized with me. Lots of people in any kind of service industry can be cranky, or simply not on the same page with their coworkers. This place ran like clockwork and everyone there worked as a team to take care of my excruciating pains. I downloaded the patient paperwork from their website first just to expedite the process a bit. I was happy to see a form that allowed me to select what my priorities were. Such as Comfort, Cosmetics, and even how you prefer to be addressed when learning about the issues with your teeth. This certainly made for a scientifically proven ultra-positive dental experience. Not only was my procedure a comforting success, but I even received a follow-up call from Dr. Doyle that evening with care-tips and he just genuinely wanted to know how I was feeling. Other firms may charge less for the same kind of services that Capitol Dental offers, but you will certainly not find find any match for their teamwork, superior customer service and contemporary state of the art facilities. (listen to whatever music you want while in a state of bliss despite having a tooth being ripped out). I look forward to trying to get it right this time with regular dental maintenance. I think I’ve finally found a place that makes it mentally easier for me now. Recommended!

Experience Holy mother of SCIENCE! Talk about a modern experience. My last two appointments were like night and day in comparison to my previous dentist. They took photos of my mouth during my first exam and then mapped my teeth in some dental software and gave me step by step breakdowns on where I can improve my brushing and flossing. The staff were very gentle and accommodating. I can’t believe I wasn’t afraid of going to the dentist after the last place I went to in comparison to how well they treated me here. Their cleaning and probing of my teeth and gums was very gentle. They listened to my questions and asked about any concerns I had. My second visit was for a filling. I was expecting an hour long visit and it turned into 15 minutes. It was seriously the first time that I really appreciated going to a dental facility. Staff Terry at the front desk is wonderful and always accomodating. The rest of the staff were also lovely, and communicative. Everyone was very helpful and positive. Location Great location, there right downtown. They have a lovely office with photos from local Boise by a Boise photographer.

Today, I enjoyed my semi annual check up and cleaning – – as I always do. My teeth are very important to me, and I have always had full confidence that I am getting the best professional care available from all of their staff. As a decades long dental patient at Capitol Dental, I fully recommend them for any dental need you might have.

I was very apprehensive about my appointment! Bad experiences have left me “numb” to dental care. My visit was due to infection and could no longer be avoided. Capital Dental was recommended to me by a friend. An early morning visit was scheduled. I was greeted by a wonderful receptionist and was quickly put at ease. Not once did I see one staff member without a smile on their face. Happy staff means a great work environment which leads to great patient care! What can I say about Dr. Doyle… he is awesome! He knew my fears and took my mind off them by engaging me in conversation and listening and involving me in my care! I think my teeth are going to be very happy! I can’t wait to go back !

I had a wonderful experience at Capitol Dental. From the front office staff to the hygienist to the doctor, everyone was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The staff really made me feel cared about and I appreciated how transparent they were with everything they were doing. Dr. Doyle was awesome and went out of his way to ensure I was comfortable (I get a little nervous about dental work!). I would 100% recommend this office, especially to those who are a little anxious about going to the dentist. They really take care of you. I’m just happy I’ve found a place that I won’t dread going to when it comes time for my next appointment.

This was my first visit here, and the dentist and the dental assistant that worked on my teeth were so kind and friendly! They genuinely seemed to care about what I wanted and the things I said. The people at the front desk were super nice as well. They answered all my questions about the paperwork I filled out, and did so in a very kind manner. Definitely the best dentist I’ve been to!

I’ve been going to Capitol dental now for about two years along with my kids. One thing that stands out is their education. They do a great job analyzing your teeth and making sure you understand what’s going on and how to best to prevent cavities and comment on loss later. I’ve had great care and great success with hygienist and the dentist. They have been the best dentists that we had about 20 years

At 41 years old, and being one who rarely misses a dental visit, I have been blessed with good dentists and orthodontists my whole life. Capitol Dental takes dentistry up a few notches. They have immediate photographic x-rays, their staff is fantastic and friendly, and the dentist and staff actually have real conversations, like get to know you stuff, rather than superficial and trivial conversations.  They do an excellent job, explain everything, and the office is clean and comfortable.  I would imagine there are less expensive dental offices in the valley, but for me it is worth it to pay a little extra to get the extras they give, and or importantly, have exemplary service year after year.

A+++++++. My procedure was thoroughly explained to me. All of my options were clear and my questions were answered which made me feel very comfortable. I think the thing that I like best about Capitol Dental is the staff. I don’t usually think about laughing and enjoying the dentist but I do look forward to my appointments at Capitol Dental.

I used to think all dentists were about the same, but that is not true! The staff at Capitol work at such a higher level of dentistry skill and patient care than anything I’ve ever experienced. I’ve never met someone more excited or passionate at their job as Dr. Doyle. He is my inspiration to floss. I also like the volunteer work and Boise charities that he and Capitol support. My prior dentist did a poor job with 2 of my fillings, which ultimately failed and allowed decay to growth underneath. Dr. Doyle corrected my prior dentists’ mistake and has done a few other procedures for me as well; each time he’s very meticulous about the shape, color, accessibility, and durability of the filling or onlay. On the hygienist side, I see Sam for cleanings. He knows my teeth and goes above and beyond to accommodate (no water pick on #31 or #14, etc!). If you have dental anxiety, this is your place. They have several pain management options (numbing swish, topical, No2 gas, nerve block, etc).

I recently returned to Capitol Dental after a 12 year hiatus. It was a true pleasure to be treated so warmly and professionally and I felt like the hygienist as well as the doctor had only my best interest in mind. My hygienist today, Sam, was the best. Very thorough and professional as well as personal. I will recommend all my friends and family to this dental office and I’m so glad I returned here for my dental needs.

If you are anxious about going to the dentist, stop looking, you’re on the right page. Dr. Doyle is THE BEST (he could be a pediatric dentist if he wanted to, his attitude speaks for it). As soon as you meet him, you instantly feel at ease with any nervous feelings you might have had.  He has great “bed side manners” and his assistants (Stacey and Whitney) make such a great team. Dr. Doyle has such a kind-hearted demeanor and it shows when working with you as a patient and with his staff. He is absolutely meticulous and goes over every detail in regards to your teeth. I recently moved to Boise and needed some dental work… I used Yelp to find Capitol Dental and my experience was even better than good yelp rating. Friendly service, clean office and the dental work couldn’t have gone any smoother. I’m glad to know that I have a great dentist and dental office that I can rely on moving forward.

After moving from Washington State to Boise, I was really nervous about finding an honest and reliable dentist, and Capitol Dental did not disappoint! From the time I first contacted them to setup an appointment, to walking out the door and finishing my visit, this place was outstanding. Extremely professional, very friendly and great at making clients feel at ease, and very knowledgeable about different treatment options. One thing that impressed me was their efforts in providing personalized care that suits the needs and concerns of each client. They evaluated what I wanted from my dental care and then proceeded to meet those needs and discuss different available options concerning all areas of my dental health. They also went above and beyond by making room in their schedule for a treatment I needed the same day I went in for a check up instead of making me reschedule for another day. Overall I will recommend Capitol Dental to anyone who is seeking a honest, caring, and professional dentist!

We use Capitol Dental for our dental needs. My husband was there this morning. We’ve been using them for a while and they are very good. They are very client conscious and the customer comes first. They are pretty popular and they have a lot of people that go there. The office environment is great and wonderful. They are all very good. We see whichever dentist is available

I vetted several dentists due to my dentist retiring as a result of an accident..Before I chose Dr Doyle I did a lot of research He is extremely cutting edge, his practice standards are very high, infection protocol at its best… The hygienists are extremely experienced and compassionate and he obviously hand-picked his office staff because not only are they very competent, they are kind. This is a very well put together practice on the cutting edge of everything. he leads by example, is also very compassionate and best of all he really listens… Not just hears… He listens to what your concerns are, what your goals are, and you sit down together with all of the information and put it into a plan of action.… The only thing I would say, is dentistry is very expensive… You get what you pay for, I firmly believe that… You’ll find less expensive Dentists but you will not find the caliber of dentistry performed(so it will not have to be redone) or a dentist who has your best interests at heart like Dr. Doyle.

What a wonderful experience. I had my teeth whitened in one hour!!!! Such an easy process and beautiful results. Whytnee and Stacie were so gentle with me, and made me feel so at ease. They made me excited about the procedure. Dr. Doyle even came in to cheer me on, I was so excited to finally see the results. They took before and after pictures, I don’t think I’ll stop smiling for years!!!! And one of the perks, now I have whitening for life, that is how classy this office is, they really care about how proud I am of my smile. Top notch office, certainly mine for life. I’ve been a patient at Capitol Dental for years – ever since I realized I was probably too old to get a prize for seeing the dentist. While my collection of spunky erasers and pencils has dwindled, I feel so lucky to have found a place where I look forward to going to the dentist. All the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly (shoutout to Krista and Sam – my favorite hygienists). Great people. All of them walked me through what they were going to do. All of the staff where courteous and always asking if I was okay or do you need something to drink. Prompt. Office is really clean. An important part to me was no one smelled. No body odor to smell while your getting your teeth worked on.

I love this dental office. I had a really positive experience yesterday even though I had anxiety about the procedure. Dr. Doyle and his assistant did an excellent job of calming my nerves. I really appreciate the advanced technology Dr. Doyle uses that makes everything interactive and efficient. The front desk staff is excellent.

How is it possible to enjoy going to the dentist? The answer is pretty simple, go to Capital Dental 🙂 I realize that sounds a little bit like an ad, and maybe it is a little bit, but I never used to like going to dentist and never went very often every few years whether I had to or not, and now I go once a quarter so so I can keep the first that I got

Dr. Doyle is a great dentist, HOWEVER, they will always prescribe the most expensive treatment plan and will not explain the costs before the procedure. In my particular situation, I went in under the impression I was having a filling replaced (which my insurance covers) and left with a nearly $500 copay for a procedure I didn’t know I was getting. I did not received a quote for the work before the appointment and I verified with the assistant that they were going to replace the filling right before the procedure and she said yes. Though I explained what happened and the lack of communication on their part that led to this error, they offered me no recourse. Again, Dr. Doyle does a great job but be sure that you get everything they do in writing with estimates attached before the procedure takes place or you too could be spending large amounts of money that you didn’t account for. Being a student and spending $500 of my tuition money on my teeth has caused quite the financial situation in my personal life. Their inability to take responsibility for the situation shows that they are willing to take advantage of anyone.
