I absolutely love my dentist at Caring Tooth Dental in Northridge. He has been taking care of all of my dental needs since 1996. Dr. Alex Visot is so good at his job. So far, he has given me one root canal , replaced 5 amalgam fillings, probably six or seven regular fillings, many cleanings, removed four wisdom teeth, performed oral surgery when one was impacted, made me a night guard, bleaching trays, and even a retainer. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do my dental work but him. When he numbs me I absolutely cannot feel the needle, ever, and I can have total confidence that he’s not going to hurt me which is really comforting. Because a lot of times I start off scared but once I’m near him I really calm down because he is easy to be around and he’s super nice to talk to and just has a great disposition. Oh and did I mention he’s also funny. Anyways, I highly recommend Alex. Anyone I’ve recommended to him in the past has been super pleased as well. I have never been to his father who works in the same office so I can’t say that I know him but I absolutely do know Alex and can’t say enough good things about him.

Approximately 10 days ago I discovered Caring Tooth Dental by accident, and after having read all of the excellent reviews I was compelled to schedule an appointment.  I am very much impressed with Dr. Visot and his staff – they are respectful, courtesy, friendly, knowledgeable, honest and skilled – did I mention, PROFESSIONAL. I saw Dr. Visot on an emergency basis because my tooth (a #3 molar, 30 yr. old crown w/root canal) had broken off at the gum level and there were metal prongs sticking out of it as well as from my gum.  He discussed my options with a thorough explanation of each and I chose the implant procedure.   Because I do not have dental insurance, Arlene helped me in obtaining a rate reduction so the cost would be affordable – I was most pleased.   Dr. Visot had his work cut out for him; first he had to extract the remainder of my tooth (the roots) which was quite difficult as they were so very brittle.  Thereafter, he performed a bone graft and sutured the area.  I NEVER FELT ANY PAIN OR DISCOMFORT AT ALL.  He knew precisely what he was doing and how to do it – I CALL THAT SKILL.  One week later I returned to have impressions taken for my temporary tooth (a flipper), and today I returned to have my sutures removed and placement of the flipper.  I now must wait 4-5 months for my surgery to heal prior to installment of the implant.  So, at that time I will write a sequel to my current review. I am so very glad to have met Dr. Visot and consider myself fortunate.  Unbeknownst to him, he is actually restoring my faith in humanity (i.e. DENTISTS) as I have encountered several unprofessional scoundrels masquerading as D.D.S.   P.S.:  I love the color-scheme décor of the office as it is so calming, soothing and relaxing.  It really helps to set one’s nerves at ease.

I just had my first Zoom Whitening with Dr. Alex and I am very very pleased. A friend had recommended Dr. Alex and even though it’s kind of far for me, I decided to try it with him. Very glad that I did: I am very picky when choosing doctors, dentists, stylists, etc., it’s not so easy to please me. Dr. Alex was very nice. He explained the procedure to me, asked me questions about the results I wanted and just was very nice to deal with. I wanted my teeth to be just 3-4 shades whiter, since my teeth are naturally pretty white but I love coffee and it does stain the teeth. The procedure went exactly as doctor said it will. He applied the gel to my teeth and then exposed them to the light. That was about 15 minutes. I waited in the chair for a little bit before another session. The hygienist checked in on me while I did. Gel was applied 2 more times, and the whole procedure took about an hour. I am very satisfied with the color of my teeth now. I also was very pleased with how nice everyone was to me at Dr. Alex’s office. Very very positive experience.

I fractured a tooth in August and was shopping prices since I don’t have good dental insurance. Arlene and Sima are very sweet and accommodating. Dr Visot removed the nerve since I was in so much pain then his father did my root canal a Few days later on Sept 10th. The root canal went fine in about an hour. I still continued to have lots of pain but it’s finally feeling better. They accept care credit which is great! Was hard to find because it’s all the way in the back of a hidden complex. No one likes going to the dentist but it’s much better when you have caring people.

Dr. Alex Visot and all the staff at Caring tooth dental are absolutely incredible! I have always dreaded the dentist and avoided going which led to major problems and a lot of money. Everyone at Caring Tooth Dental makes you feel so welcome and they really try to find ways to help you financially any way they can! You can tell that they care for their patients and try to make it a good experience. 🙂 If you are looking for a fantastic dentist who will work with you and your family, come here you won’t be disappointed! :-))

I had implants procedure with Dr. Visot. It took time but I am very happy with the results and I think it’s a great investment. I had few teeth missing and didn’t want to have bridges. First appointment is was consultation. I came in and the doc looked at my case and said that I am a good candidate for implants. apparently, not everybody can have them. He explained the whole procedure to me, how it will work, how much time it should take, then gave me estimate. I was very confident in this doc after this first visit. He was very knowledgable about implants and other options. He showed me some models and also the work hes done. Next time I came in he did a bone grafting — inserted the implants into my jaw. It is an intimidating procedure but I went pain free. Then, we waited for everything to heal. I could of had crowns put on right away but the doc said it’s better to wait.  3 months later, my mouth was finally ready for the last part. I had the crowns put on. I am happy about the results I got. I think it was well worth waiting for. The whole process, though it takes time, is worth it. Results are great. Thank you, Dr. Visot, you’ve done amazing job on my mouth! I smile so happy now!

WHAT A GREAT DENTIST! 🙂 I have been looking for a good dentist and this dental office is fantastic! The receptionist was so kind and nice which really put me at ease. The dentist and hygienist we’re just as kind and made the whole process and cleanings go by that much smoother. The procedure i needed was painless and went by quick. They really care about their patients and the experience you have with them. I have not had a good dental experience in the last 30 years, so when i found Caring Tooth Dental i was so pleased with the wonderful job they did on my teeth! I am so glad I found Dr Visot. He was a life saver! Really. For years I had a sensitive tooth. It reacts to everything, hot n cold foods n drinks and sweets n even spicy food. I tried a bunch of dentists and no one helped me. They take X-rays n tell me my tooth is ok. But I am suffering. Dr Visot, and he said he could fix it! He explained to me what the problem was n that others dentists all they needed to do was to pay attantion. He put a special composit n that solveded my problem. Im so happy cause thats something that bothered me for years and no one helped me. Now I am very happy! It was also not expensive at all!

I had implants and dentures done with this clinic. I had lost my teeth in my 40’s — doctors said it was hereditary and they couldn’t save them. Had to wear dentures for years. They were very uncomfortable causing me lot pain and embarrassment because they moved around. I tried different ones but it didn’t really help. When I went to see Dr. Alexander he suggested to have 2 implants placed on each side and then having snap-in dentures put onto them. The Dr. explained that this helps with retention. I hesitated because implants and permanent dentures is scary for me, especially with how my dentures were before. But Dr. Alexander assured me. So as I said Dr. placed 4 implants (2 on each side). Then, when everything healed he secured the dentures to these. Now I can eat without any pain, my dentures stay in place and Im not embarrassed when going out and eating. I am so happy, I could not praise Dr. Alexander enough, best dentists in my experience!

I had an implant done by Dr. Visot. I went to another dentist before and it was a horrible mistake. I had a tooth that was bothering me. So that dentist ground my tooth – and I had a LOT of pain while and after he did. It was a miserable experience. After all that, this dentists tells me he can’t save the tooth and has to pull it! Seriously! I got even more upset: losing my tooth at 25! Dr. V. really saved me. He gave me an implant in place of the missing tooth. Now you can’t even tell I had any missing tooth. The implant looks just like one of my own teeth. and I’m not embarrassed anymore when i smile. That really means a lot to me. Dr. Visot is great! i’m so happy I got my implant done here!

Dr Alex is amazing at what he does I live in vegas and i drive to Calif just to go to the dentist I’ve been going to dr Alex for vegas even when he had his practice in Las Vegas . He is a amazing dentist and knows how to make you feel comfortable and take care of your teeth with no pain. & the staff is so nice and sweet. This is the place over all.

I felt compelled to leave a review for Dr. Visot for relieving a toothache of mine. I was in severe pain that prevented me from concentrating at work, and I couldn’t take it anymore, so I started asking friends for a referral. I was referred to this Dr by a mutual friend who assured me I would get “friendly” prices. He did not disappoint. You never realize the financial situation you’re going to get into until you get side tracked by things beyond your control. Unfortunately this was one of those events. Luckily Dr Visot charged me a very reasonable price for a root canal and I cannot thank him enough for relieving my pain and the price it cost. The office is very clean, modern, great friendly staff with great smiles (I wonder why 🙂 and guided me throughout the entire process which went very smoothly. The treatment I got was the best I could ever ask for. Now that I got over the tough hurdle of a root canal I hope all future visits will be anxiety-free. Thank you Dr Visot!
