I was seeing Carl Farless, D.D.S. for a few years, very good, and he retired and Arthur Jordan D.D.S. took over and has been doing a fantastic job of taking care of my dental needs since. I trust him and his decisions to do what is necessary and in my best interest. The same staff are also in my trust, caring, gentle and excellent. I am very pleased with all of their work. Jerry

The last dentist I had was just okay. I decided to give it another shot and out of a few candidates I had, Dr. Farless was one of the more fairly priced dentists for regular cleanings (that’s all I’m interested in… for now, hopefully). I was kind of nervous (I generally think less expensive means worse), but I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly, I got seated right away, and the cleaning was comfortable. As a side bonus, now I know of a good dentist to go to in case of an emergency.

I’m nervous of ANY procedure! – Most Dental Practices make it obvious they don’t want to deal with patients like me! NOT true of THIS place! THEY are an awesome, compassionate,impressive group of HIGHLY PROFESSIONAL STAFF. They go ‘ABOVE & BEYOND’ for patients. ALL OF THEM! My daughter has been going there for years & recommends it as THE best – So Do I ! They inspire COMPLETE CONFIDENCE IN THEIR EXPERTISE! They earn TEN out of 5 stars!

Dr Farless has retired since my last review, so felt it was time to refresh my last review! Though I was sad to see Dr Farless leave, he left the office in wonderful hands. Dr Minas, Rose, Angela, Michelle they all make sure patients feel comfortable and at ease. I’ve hated the dentist my whole life, until I found these guys. I no longer put off my appts, and look forward to maintaining the health of my teeth. This office is a gem of a find. It’s no thrills, no nonsense just solid people who care about their patients, and are great at what they do. Quite rare these days.

I’ve been a patient for almost 3 years. I’ve been treated by Dr. Minas, Dr. Jordan and Dr. Gregorian and trust all of them explicitly with my oral care. I had a botched root canal fixed, crown replaced, filling repaired, Invisalign and numerous cleanings. Angela is my hygienist. I feel really lucky because a good dental office is incredibly hard to find. EVERYONE is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I plan to stay with them until I move out of LA or croak. They are that good!! P.S. I have Delta Dental PPO.

I love Dr. Jordan, Dr. Minas and their entire staff! They are also very kind and very understanding. Their work is impeccable! Extra perks are that they have one late day, great for after work appointments and they are open on Saturdays! I highly recommend them! They are awesome!

Let’s be honest: no one likes going to the dentist. NO ONE. Including yours truly. But one of the effed up realities of life? The longer you put off going to the dentist, the greater your chances of having BIG problems. Like that toothache you thought was just a cavity? Oh hell NO. That mother effer is gonna get all root canal on your ass. I learned the hard way a long time ago, don’t procrastinate when it comes to your teeth. You never win. NEVER. Having learned my lesson, I go for my regular cleanings. Get my x-rays every couple years. All the stuff you’re supposed to do to take care of your teeth. So last year when I started feeling like something was up with my tooth? No biggie. I’ve had the cleanings and the xrays. It’s probably nothing. Yeah. Not so much. I went to Dr. Farless to get it checked out and eff me it had passed from ‘cavity’ to ‘root canal’. As we all know, root canals are hateful and horrible and straight up medieval torture. And hella expensive. So I put it off. And put it off. Until I woke up one day and my mouth was on fire. No one to blame but myself. I called to make an appointment with their specialist. However, he only comes in every other Saturday. So I’d have to ride it out for another month. That next month, waiting for my appointment, my life was a living hell. I beg of you, no matter what you do? Do NOT put off dental visits, check ups, or whatever work they tell you needs to be done. Man up and take care of business. Ignoring it won’t make it go away. Satan will laugh at you, and your tooth will feel like it’s being blasted with the fires of a 1000 suns. Now here comes the good news: Dr. Gregorian, the root canal specialist. First of all, he’s pretty foxy. Like ‘Bad Guy in an Action Movie’ kind of foxy. Although I did see a big gold wedding band on his finger, so I think he’s taken. Don’t go barging in there trying to hit on this guy. Just let him work on you and admire his hotness quietly to yourself. Here’s the other good news: he’s really good. No joke. I was a huge nervous wreck when I walked in there. My stomach was in knots. I felt like I was gonna throw up and sweating like a whore in church. I took a little Xanax to calm my nerves. That helped a bit, but not much. I told him before he started that I was super nervous. He was so sweet about it. He knows most people feel this way about root canals. He waited patiently while I got my iTunes on and tried to relax. The only bad part? He had to give me one last numbing shot directly in the tooth before he started. Guess my system had a reaction to it, because out of nowhere my heart started racing. I wanted to bolt straight up out of the chair and run the hell out of there. I freaked out and signaled to him that I needed to get up. He helped me out of the chair and I walked it off. After about 5 minutes, I calmed down and was fine. Once he got started, it went pretty smoothly. And it really didn’t take that long. Maybe an hour, hour and a half? Overall, I was super impressed by him. Would definitely recommend him to anyone. Especially to the scared-y cats out there like me.

Great dental practice. They are caring, diligent and thorough while being affordable. Too many Hollywood practices try to up sell you on cosmetic dentistry but I have never experienced that here .  Both Farless and Jordan are exceptional. I highly recommend them!!!!

My husband and I have experienced so many a frustrating and uncomfortable dental visits BUT when we found Dr. Farless’ dental office by word of mouth, it’s like Eureka!  There is really light at the end of the tunnel!  We just loved Dr. Farless, Dr. Jordan, Angel, Rowena, Jennifer, Michelle, Angela and Rose!  Great staff, great service, great office atmosphere (does not feel like the typical cold, dental office at all!) I think we are in for the long haul!

Dr. Farless deserves more recognition than a “5 star” rating scale to describe how amazing he is. I’ve been his patient for at least 17 years. Prior to being under his care and the incredible care of his hygienists, my husband and I had been to countless dentists. I can remember back when we moved from Studio City (where Dr Farless office is located near) and moved to the San Fernando Valley 12 years ago. The day I attempted to get a cleaning closer to home at unnamed office. I figured, just this once ill just go for a cleaning nearby to home…I can’t begin to say what “a can of worms” I found myself in. (But it actually didn’t surprise me) By the time I left this “anonymous named Dr” I had a list of urgent treatments I needed from crowns that needed immediate replacements because of supposed “infection”, and of course two root canals were on the list. I thought that’s peculiar… I went back to Dr Farless and discussed this other Dr’s “recommendations”. Not surprisingly..Dr Farless in his usual calm and professional way assured me by examining me and my x rays that none of the items suggested were at all necessary, none not one! The reason I am Yelping Dr. Farless today is because I recently (been another 11 years since i researched finding a dentist ..only to help a friend who has HMO dentistry covered) My adoration for Dr. Farless has risen to the surface again. I cant express enough how much I appreciate ..and there are absolutely no words to express how blessed my family is to have and know such a trustworthy Dentist. Dr. Farless is honest, patient, gentle, humble (and the BEST novocaine shot giver in the dental world 🙂 There are still dishonest dentists out there. I had to walk my friend and I, out of two dentist offices that accepted her HMO dental insurance. Both offices made excuses that they couldn’t give her a cleaning. That she needed a “deep cleaning” which of course is not covered by insurance. She too received a list of emergency root canals needed before they would even allow her a cleaning. The first office did her X-rays and would not clean her teeth unless she agreed to pay for a deep cleaning. Let me explain to you what an HMO deep cleaning is, its what Dr Farless would give you anyway, that’s already included in your insurance, but Dr Farless’ “deep cleaning” is called “yearly cleaning” 🙂 and it’s done by every single one of his amazing hygienists! Jennifer, Angela, & Angel. I ust had a cleaning today by Angel, he did an excellent job! How long does your hygienist take to clean your teeth? Angel spent at least an hour scraping. This “yearly cleaning” would make your mouth feel like it just won NASCAR and you’re Jeff Gordon (I had to use a race-car reference in Dr Farless’ honor 🙂 So this long overdue compliment is here on yelp..the office staff gets a “I’m Dr. Farless biggest fan” earful on a yearly basis, so now here it is, in-print! We are so grateful to have a dentist we can trust and appreciate each of the incredible staff that are each so caring. Thank you Rose for also taking such good care of us all these years. Dr. Farless you definitely know how much we love and respect you. I can’t stop complimenting you and thanking you every time i see you or bragging about you in conversations that include dentists or teeth. I’m pretty sure everyone that knows someone in my family and extended family coworkers, and friends know who Dr. Farless is … I just wish there was something more we could do to show our appreciation. If there was an apple award for Dentists you would get the prize. God bless you Dr Farless, and your entire staff. Thank you!
