Dr. Chong has been our family dentist for several years now. He is great with the teenagers – encouraging them to take care of their teeth for life and educating them on the best dental practices at home. We appreciate the reasonable prices for his services. He is always running on time and is friendly and professional. A big thank you from the grandchildren and great grandchildren of a former dentist!

I have been going to this dentist off for at least two years now. The staff is always very nice and helpful. The office and equipment is very clean. Dr. Chong is a great dentist and always very personable.

Good work and reasonable. Dentist and staff are all very nice, professional and personable. Great hours for people who work M-F 9-5 and can’t take time off work for appointments. They’re open a couple days during the week after 5 and some Saturdays.

I’ll start by saying that I have an incredibly abnormal sensitivity to anything dental related. I had already put off the work that was supposed to be done well over a year ago at a different dental office… So this particular day I happened to be walking by Dr Chong’s office and stopped to talk to receptionist briefly. She made me feel incredibly comfortable and very sincerely assured me they would take care of me and accommodate all special needs or requests. Dr. Chong’s entire team did just that and due to my first very positive experience with everyone in the office, I will be initiating a comprehensive treatment plan. I’ve been seeing Dr. Chong’s office for cleanings and fillings since 2012.  This office is professional and affordable. I’ve been to other dentist’s offices in Encinitas and have had only fair experiences.  Dr. Chong is an easy choice for dentistry in Encinitas.  I’m glad to have found a dentist that is convenient and caring.

Nothing fancy about this office but the staff is extremely kind and professional and Dr. Chong is very knowledgeable and gentle.  Several members of my family are customers and have had various procedures, I myself have had cleanings and fillings at this office since 2010.  I have recommended Dr. Chong to several friends and only had good reports.  Also rates are very reasonable!

Awesome dentist and staff! Everyone’s very friendly. Took them up on the new patient deal here on yelp and have also taken my kids here. I recently needed a molar pulled and Dr.Chong took it out very smoothly. Dr.Chong actually has the steadiest hands I’ve ever had in my mouth.  I would definitely recommend this dentist.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chong for about the last twenty years. I once tried another dentist because they were closer to where I lived. I was having some soreness and inflammation in my lower front gum and this new dentist said I needed a root canal. I decided to get a second opinion, so I went see Dr. Chong again. He said all I probably needed was a deep cleaning of the area. He was right. The problem never returned.

I had some fillings done by another dentist a few months ago and it appears they did not do what they said they were going to do. I happened to be in encintas on a trip and my teeth started hurting so bad i went to the emergency room. The day after i was scrambling to find a dentist. No one would see me for a consultation. Enter dr chong and his staff. They are in the same plaza as everbowl the wife goes to and i found them online. I walked in and they showed LOTS of compassion and care and squeezed me into there schedule. I might of even took up a bit of there lunch. They took xrays , a exam and towards the end  dr chong used a flossing technique which completly relieved all my pain. If you want a honest caring dentist, this is your place.

I had my teeth deep cleaned by Dr. Chong, and it had been over 2 years since I had a cleaning.  Never in my life have I experienced a cleaning that was absolutely painless and he and his staff were so pleasant.  It has been wonderful to look in the mirror and see a huge difference in the color if my teeth and the shape of my gums when I smile.  They then called me up to remind me it was time for my 3 month follow up cleaning, and got me in right away.  This time, his dental Hygentist, Nuvia, was also kind and gentle and a wonderfully sweet conversationalist, and I ENJOYED myself!  I couldn’t believe how relaxed and nice I felt after.  I highly recommend them, and in telling one of my friends, sandy, about them, she said “oh!  We go to him too!  He so honest and fair in his prices,and service.  We just love him! And  I do too!!

Nice staff, solid service at a fair price. Dr.  Chong and his staff were both professional and friendly. I recieved full x rays, consult and cleaning for great deal. I lucked out and found Dr. Chong on Google and I’ll be back in 6 months for my next check up sure…

Dr Chong has been the most gracious quintessential professional to me, an emergency-stranger into his Dentistry. And that started with my first phonemail to his very understanding and helpful receptionist too. He is kindly, capable, efficient and so genuine he made me feel as though he had been my family dentist for years. If ever one could truly ‘love’ a dentist (not my favourite pastime to visit a dentist) Dr Chong would be that one true dentist. Thank you sir for all that you have done for my urgent teeth needs whilst on my very long sojourn here in Encinitas from South Africa. Frankly I wish I were staying long enough for you to fix up my entire mouth of aging crowns, caps and all other dentistry needs.

I have gone to Dr. Chong a few times for cleaning and he has also worked on a few of my cavities.  I started going to Dr. Chong because the location is convenient (in the same shopping center as my work) and many of my co-workers and customers have also had positive experiences there.  His prices are good and his office is professional and clean.

I went as a new patient to see Dr. Chong. There was no wait, and I received my exam, cleaning, and x-rays quickly. The best part about the visit was they explained what my new dental insurance covers for me and didn’t try to sell me any extra services. Very happy and will be going back!
