I came to this dental office after not having a consistent dentist for a few years after my move to San Diego.  But I guarantee I will be back after the amazing support from the doctors and staff.  Both Dr. Mercer and Dr. Davis are extremely knowledgeable, they genuinely care about their patients health and well-being while keeping in mind their best interests.  I had an amazing experience from the moment I walked through the door and being greeted by John and Athena.  The support staff headed by Qi, Kelly, Delia and Annabelle couldn’t have been more pleasant, and I have referred and recommended this office to numerous friends and family

Fabulous office! They have handled COVID and their patients with great service. My three daughters and I all used this Dental Office. My daughters braces and dental is here. My oldest daughter who goes to Berkeley waits to have all procedures done here, including her wisdom teeth which were removed last year. My other daughter is set to get her wisdom teeth extracted tomorrow. Dental care is expensive. They have payment options and plans available. I could not do it any other way. Thank you CVFDD.

In from out of town on vacation. Called on Monday morning at 9:30 and they saw me at 11 AM. Excellent work by Dr. Amanda Mercer DDS. This is a  “no paper” office – everything on line and electronic. Most interesting was EVERYONE was pleasant, happy and smiling! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place! I have not been to the dentist is a few years!!! Since I work next door and I said hey, why not! Wow what a work of art they do!! I felt so relaxed and in such great hands! From checking in, my x rays and all the cleaning! The Dr is amazing and so welcoming and HAPPY! I love the positive vibes flowing all over the office. Karina is a great front office receptionist/ insurance/ cashier!! The dentist hygienist was incredible!!! She talked me through everything before we went forward and it was great! So so so so great! So much attention to detail! They made me feel so comfortable, and didn’t judge me because of my horrible teeth. I was able to be straight up and up front with them. It was awesome. I went in to get my cavities filled and Dr Amanda & Brittany got me in and out in no time! They dos amazing amazing work! The front desk was so kind they gave me tooth brush packs to give to my coworkers since we are next door! Will be back in 3 months for my next check up with Trish!

I despise going to the dentist but my visit here was great! Front and back staff were super friendly and polite.  I am not going to lie and say “it was fun” but it really was the best dental experience I have ever had

Everything about my experience here was fantastic. Top of the line technology and knowledgeable, professional staff. I could not happier and more comfortable with my new dentist office.

Awesome place.   I watch my cap being made and put in within 2 hours.   Would recommend this place highly, the staff were excellent. They are very caring and concerned about your comfort.

I went to the CVFD for my first dentist appointment since moving to California. They were an incredible warm, sincere, and generally informative staff. My initial dentist tech was quite welcoming. Dr. Mercer is just a saint and explains the complex nuances of your dentistry needs quite well. It literally made me want to come back sooner. John the office associate was so helpful and charming. Qi, who I spent the majority of my time with, completed my work professionally and with time to spare. The one concern I would flag is that in hindsight one of the procedures, the laser irrigation, wasn’t as explained thoroughly as I would like. I felt that it was positioned as the only or necessary step to ensure my gum health. However, exploring several peer reviewed articles on the subject as well as professional dentistry journals and commentary…there seems to be some debate to its relative efficacy. If I am going to spend hundreds or maybe thousands of dollars on a procedure I think it would be better to explain it’s relative cost benefit ratio especially with some alternatives. I always want to defer to the experts and I hope the office had my best interests at heart

Not only was I able to get an appointment right away, Dr Mercer and her staff were fabulous! Dr Mercer took time to address my concerns and she was able to replace 2 crowns, replace an old filling with an onlay and perform a cleaning in one visit!!! The whole process was smooth and I experienced little to no pain. When she was numbing me, she took her time and massaged my gums. The crowns and onlay were made in the office while they were doing my cleaning. Their equipment is high tech and the whole process is absolutely fascinating!  I will definitely recommend this dentist to my friends and family!

Amazing experience! My first time to the office was last week and I was very satisfied with my appointments.  The office is so clean, well organized and updated with the newest equipment I was so pleased. Every single staff is the absolute sweetest and very knowledgeable, walked me through every step of my appointment and after 8 years I don’t have any pain or sensitivity anymore. I would recommend anyone in SoCal to give them a call and schedule your first visit ASAP!

Hands down best dentist office I have ever been to! I really dread going to the dentist but this office has made it a much more pleasant experience. Dr. Mercer is excellent and great at explaining everything. Everyone in the office is very nice and always does an amazing job. I have a lot of issues—mostly from grinding—and they have really helped get my teeth in better shape

I have been a patient here for 3 years and every time I’ve come in, I have had a positive experience. Both Dr. Mercer and Dr. Davis are professional, careful, kind, and informative. Recently I had a dental emergency, which was addressed and resolved very quickly. Although I live 30 mins away I will keep coming to Carlsbad because, for the first time in my life, I actually love my dentists! Thank you!

I am a new patient at this dental office and I honestly can not say enough good things about this place! I saw Dr. Mercer and she was so patient and professional with me. She went over everything in detail and all of my options for the services I needed. I felt very taken care of and confident that I was in good hands. I have to say tho, my favorite part about my whole experience was John. He works the front desk and coordinates the financing and planning etc. He was SO helpful and made me feel immediately comfortable in an environment that, let’s be honest, can be a little nerve wracking! Very funny, kind and light hearted and obviously great at his job. For being at the dentist, my experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this place!

My family and I came to Carlsbad Village Faire Dentists after a bad experience with another dentist. We were so impressed with our first visit. We have scheduled appointments for a couple of different procedures, so far, so good

I couldn’t be more impressed with Dr Amanda Mercer!!! Her work is amazing and you are instantly made to feel relaxed. My son who has nearly passed out in a dentist chair said he wanted to ONLY come back to Dr. Mercer from now on. For those who hate a dentist visit…pretty much everyone…I encourage you to try Carlsbad Village Faire Dentist! And whats better is you are NOT driving all around town for specialities. Dr Wong, whos equally as personable, is a fantastic orthodontist. Both my teens absolutely LOVE her and are now in braces.

What a great experience!!! I hate going to the dentist and haven’t been in a while. The gal at the front desk was super friendly and gave me a reminder call for my appt. All the new client paperwork was electronic on a tablet which made it super easy to get started. The place is bright and clean! The equipment is all new and state of the art. My first time cleaning was done by the doctor and she was so friendly and positive! She even fixed my chipped tooth! What a great deal and great experience. Ill definitely be going back and I’ll definitely refer my friends to go there!

Literally the absolute best dental office in town!!!!! The staff are beyond amazing, great sense of humor and literally awesome vibe!!!!I highly recommend them to get work done! and yes, never pushy to get treatment done! They have a total understanding –but, best of all…a friendly staff!

I came here after dealing with a very shady dental office in Oceanside that I’m starting to believe is a racket. At this office, the office staff and the x-ray tech were incredibly nice, Dr. Mercer was very patient, kind, and caring, and Qi did an incredibly thorough job with my cleaning. They really wanted me to walk away with a healthy mouth which is so hard to find when you have cheap HMO dental insurance.

By far the best dental office I’ve been to! Both Dr Mercer and Dr Davis are outstanding . The staff is extraordinary, very caring .It feels great to finally find an office where your not just another patient. They truly take there time to explain your choices and get to know you as a person .I’ll definitely be recommending my family and friends

We were in Carlsbad visiting family when my spouse cracked a premolar. Fortunately Dr Amanda Mercer is in our insurance network and was able to accommodate an emergency appointment. We went in and my wife had X-rays, topical photos and a 360 degree consultation with Dr Mercer. All the options and recommendations and stop gap considerations (including antibiotics to prevent infection) for our flight back home were presented. Copies of the X-rays and photos were sent to our primary dentist along with great advice on next steps. That’s amazing service. The office is well run with great administrative and dental support staff to compliment the uber-professionalism of Dr Mercer. Dr Mercer I’d give you and your staff 6 stars if I could. Godspeed

Dr Mercer is an awesome dentist. Excellent chair-side manors, friendly and charismatic. Knowledgeable staff and a comfortable atmosphere make for each visit relaxed and painless. I have referred several people to Dr. Mercer, each having their own great experience. Will continue with her for a long time to come

I don’t normally write Yelp reviews, as I feel too many businesses are bad mouthed on here, however, today I felt the need. I had a bad tooth ache, my regular dentist was closed, found CVF Dentists and they got me in and took my insurance! I’d rather have my liver removed than go to the dentist, but Dr Mercer was so good!! Funny, personable, no bs, got right to the matter at hand! Her staff was super rad also! A few kinks, but overall I’m stoked I found them, and they will now be my goto dentist, no liver removal needed!
