It took me 18 months to find the right dentist when I moved to the triangle. I have a complex dental history, a complex bite, and needed someone to get to know me, my history and build a achievable, affordable and customized road-map for my continued preventative or emergency dental care. Dr. Acton leads a team of highly personable, professional and logical people that get to know you and your history. They are all aware of your case, there is great continuity and they will work with you to make the financials work if it is needed. I have now been with them for 4 years and counting, no need to look further, this is it for all things dental.

The amount of care and expertise that Cary Family Dental provides to their patients is exceptional.  I had my first visit with Cary Family Dental recently after transitioning from a small town dental office that I was a patient at for all my life.  The experience that Cary Family Dental provides is beyond any that I have experienced with any dental or medical office.  Their team really takes the time to listen to your concerns and address them.  I will be telling everyone about Cary Family Dental.

They were exceptional in every way, from the way I was greeted when I came in to the detailed report I received when I left with the future necessary appointments. I have been going to Cary Family Dental for 10 years after moving to North Carolina. They are sensitive for my husband’s gag reflex and fear of the dentist; compassionate for my kids and have always been fair and trustworthy. I have moved around Wake County but will never change my dentist.

I’ll say it again and again — Cary Family Dental is LIFE CHANGING. My teeth used to hurt all the time; I thought they would just hurt forever and it was a way of life. I was too afraid to go to the dentist and get them fixed. But Cary Family Dental has changed all that. They are patient with my anxiety. They provide sedation dentistry, relaxing blankets and pillows, and even provide earbuds so you can watch your favorite Netflix show. I’ve had 12 cavities filled, and my mouth doesn’t hurt anymore at all. Now that my teeth don’t hurt and I get regular cleanings, I am able to brush and floss more carefully, and my gingivitis has completely reversed itself. My teeth and gums are healthy. It feels like a miracle to not have dental pain anymore, and to be able to visit the dentist without fear.

I’m from Idaho and while traveling through Raleigh, I needed a dentist asap when I broke a tooth. I searched for a dentist on Google and Cary Family Dental showed up towards the top of the page. Thank goodness. This place is amazing, but even more so are the people. What an exceptional staff they have there. I cannot say enough good things about the whole experience. But who am I? I mean really…You don’t even know me. Try it for yourself, I dare you… 🙂

A clean, well-lit, comfortable office. Some of the best dentists anywhere in the Triangle. A wonderful staff and state-of-the-art equipment. Cary Family Dental has it all. 15 years ago, Dr. Allan Acton restored my smile. Cary Family Dental has helped me maintain it ever since. I have seen them grow and change. As they grew, I have had dental work done at 3 of their offices. In the 15 plus years I have been going to Cary Family Dental, a lot has happened in my life. Loss of family, illness, and life changing events. The same is probably true for some of the staff that works there. However, the professionalism, courtesy and caring that I have been shown over the years has never changed. I highly recommend Cary Family Dental

The staff is very professional and offer great hospitality. They are willing to work with you. They offer different payment options to help accommodate your financial needs. I am not a fan of going to the dentist, but i do look forward to my appointments with Cary Family Dental. They are patient and take there time to make sure you have a pleasant experience.

Before coming to Cary Family Dental, I was like the average person… nothing feels wrong so it’s not wrong, right? Well, I ended up having to get a lot of work done within a short period of time and I honestly couldn’t have found a better group of professionals to work on my “grill”. The minute you walk in the door you’re greeted with Timberly’s smile, which is always a delight and makes you feel comfortable from the start. The entire front office is very helpful and friendly… and it doesn’t stop there. The hygienist I was referred to, Casey, is one of the sweetest people I’ve met and we clicked from the start! Also, given my particular experience and situation, she helped me become more conscientious of proper dental hygiene and has helped me realize that daily brushing just isn’t enough! I have now begun to refer my friends to go back for routine check-ups as you never know what’s lurking beneath the surface of your gums! If you’re looking for a great dental team, check out CFD. My family and I have been patients at Cary Family Dental for over a decade and we have been thrilled to see their practice expand – because they are awesome! The front desk staff are all extremely friendly and welcoming. They also make it really easy to keep track of appointments by sending emails and text reminders (and if you are like me, and your life is on your phone, that is super helpful). I have never had to wait more than 2 or 3 minutes before being called back, and their new building is bright and clean (and quite swanky, actually). We have been seeing the same hygienist (Melissa) forever, and when I leave the office, it feels like I’ve just had a chance to catch up with a good friend. My youngest child (age 3) had her first appointment a few months ago and as always, they made her feel at ease and comfortable. (When we drive by their office, she often asks when she can go back and see Mr. Slurpy. Ha!) And, Dr. Acton, who we see most often, is very personable and caring. To address another reviewers comments about their “sales tactics”, I appreciate the fact that they offer services above and beyond what you may find at another dental office, but have never felt “pressured” or misled into adding on a service or product. Bottom line – I would highly recommend Cary Family Dental!

I have been here three times and each visit has been fantastic. This is by far the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Karen, the dental hygienist I’ve had each time, is the best! She is extremely friendly, and the cleaning always flies by when she is my hygienist. The doctors are all really amazing too! I highly recommend this place!

Real hygienists (not dental assistants) gave both of my kids excellent cleaning. They, and the dentist, were thorough, respectful and communicative. Receptionists too—they were up front with costs and easily linked into our insurance plan details, and it was quick to get in for an appointment as well. The office is gorgeous and clean, but small and simple. It is a pleasure dealing with them and I am switching the whole family over from one of the local fancy “dental factories.” Looking forward to having a thorough, personalized dental staff I can trust to work with!
