Dr. Denton and all of his staff are first rate. It’s unfortunate, but true that in Las Vegas you have to be extra diligent in screening medical professionals. Dr. Denton is exceptional not just by Vegas standards, but by the higher standards of other big cities. He is competent, skilled, efficient and honest. His office is extremely clean and inviting. I just had an emergency and they bend over backwards so graciously to accommodate me and tend to my very pressing needs. And they did it with basically no notice. It’s hard for me to overstate what a great dentist and office this is.

They have a great understanding staff. They made sure I knew that I would get a different person to do the cleaning of my teeth since I had to change my appointment day and time. They were even able to reschedule me for the very next day. I am fine with a different dental hygienist, and Nicole did a fine job. They made sure everyone’s temperature was taken and they keep their office and equipment very clean. They also answered all my questions about different ways to floss my teeth.

Dr Denton is amazing ! I called the office on a friday morning due to a broken upper denture. I followed the instructions on recording for emergencies as the office was closed. Dr Denton called me back and had me schedule with another dentist who repaired the denture quick fix until Monday as he was out of town. I had Family in town going to Hollwood the weekend. What a blessing and amazing care that he has for his patients! I cant begin to thank Dr Denton and his staff enough!

Ok, so I went to another dentist first and had a horrible experience, but luckily I chose CHDC to get a second opinion. First off the other dentist looked at my new digital x-rays and just probed my gums twice reporting to the technician that I had all 5’s and would need deep cleaning that is an expensive special procedure that my insurance woouldn’t cover until the 2nd year, but even more troubling was the pronouncement that I had two new cavities under the gum line just below two gold crowns – that they would have to be cut away so that they could thoroughly fix the cavities and then the crowns would have to be replaced! Well I’ve had a few of these gum exams before and have always had mainly 2’s and 3’s and just as many 1’s as 4’s, but never any 5’s. The technician at CHDC found a few 4’s, but no 5’s and I was given a regular cleaning that my insurance would cover. Better yet, Dr. Denton looked at the cavity under the edge of my crown and pronounced that there would be no need to remove the crown to fix it. Thank God for second opinions and for honorable dentists like Dr. Denton and his staff!

Love Dr. Denton! Dr. Denton and his staff were very friendly and patient with us. He explained everything he was doing to my son. We had a terrible experience at Pearly Whites, so we were very anxious about using a new dentist. Dr. Denton told us that my son did not need the 5 fillings the other office said he needed. He completed a “very deep” filling in about 10 minute so, pain free. Highly recommended!

I came in in extreme pain in need of a root canal. I had never had pain like this before and the staff there took really great care of me and was considerate of my personal level of pain. Specifically I’d like to recommend the dental hygienist Michele T. to anyone that might not do well in dentist offices. I personally have a hard time with people being in my personal space and she made me feel very comfortable from how professional she was as well as her genuine caring demeanor. Also, Dr. Denton did a fantastic job working on my teeth as well as maintaining the highest level of professionalism throughout the entire process. I even received a personal phone call from him on his own time concerning the only issue that arose and we resolved it then without any difficulty.. I never leave reviews for anything but I felt I was taken care of at such a high level, that I would like others to know about it. Thank you specifically to Michele and Dr. Denton for everything and now being pain free!!! See you in 6 months!!

I had to have a tooth pulled.Dr.Denton did an amazing job!!!It was a big tooth..your worst nightmare.It was very decayed….and just chipping off.I felt no pain during the process.That is the most important part.Big tooth gone….very little pain afterwards.Took one ibuprofen…thats it.His assitant Blanca was awesome as well.She is just a seasoned professional.If you want a detailed dental hygienist…that is gonna tell tell you the truth about your sorry ass teeth….and do an immaculate job…and truly care go to Arin…Arann I spelled it two different ways…probably wrong on both…but at least you got the drift.All the front office staff are great too.This is a well oiled machine for your dental needs!!!!!

This was my first visit to Centennial Hills Dental Care, and they are by far the BEST in Las Vegas. They called this morning to let me know they were running a little behind and to come in 30 minutes later. In my 40 plus years in Las Vegas, never have I had a medical office be respectful of my time. How wonderful is that and I have to say the experience only got better after arriving. Whitney, at the front desk, is pleasant and professional. Nicole, my hygienist, was not only informative but provided my best cleaning ever. Dr. Denton is personable, answers all of your questions and provided a thorough exam. I hit the trifecta by coming to Centennial Hills Dental Care. Give them a call, you’ll be glad you did.

Going to the dentist can be a very frightening experience especially when you’ve had bad experiences. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across Dr. Jay Denton and his staff. Not only is Dr. Denton very professional, but he is honest too. He doesn’t try to talk me into expensive procedures or buying products I don’t need. Dr. Denton and his staff took fabulous care of me for a dental emergency ( refferal practice covering while my doc was on vacation.). They were able to offer me a same day apt and another option the following day. Upon arrival I didnt wait more than 10 minutes after completing my paperwork to be called back. EVERYONE I encountered was lovely, super friendly, caring, friendly and efficeint. Dr. D had me fixed up feeling all better and on my way in 30 minutes. He’s a personable dentist, I’d think would be comforting to folks with dental anxiet.. I adore my dentist and staff but if he moves away or retires this is the first place I’m calling.

Recommended by my periodontist Dr. Mantour. Just had a tooth prepped for a crown. I am such a baby and need as much Novocain as allowed. Dr. Denton was very kind, professional and thorough and indulged my baby behavior. Told him I did not want to see or hear anything. They gave me dark shades to put on and he allowed me to use my headphones with the music cranked up so as not to hear the drilling, but I think he still heard the Jazz coming through my earbuds…lol. Didn’t feel a thing and the process was over before I knew it. Very clean office and super nice staff. Thanks for making this dental procedure as good as could be expected from a dental visit. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Denton and his practice. He is an excellent provider and has a wonderful chair-side manner. I have had a few fillings done and I had zero pain during or after the procedures. I was even able to get a last minute appointment when I chipped a tooth, and Dr. Denton did an excellent job at smoothing out the chip. The hygienists are excellent and give thorough cleanings. The receptionist Whitney is always so kind both in person and on the phone. If you’re looking for a new dentist, give Dr. Denton’s office a call so you can be a happy patient like me.

I am on a trip for my birthday and I had to have some emergency work done (again, this was the day before my birthday) I was referred to this office by a dental lab (Mitchell, THANK YOU for calling me back!!!) I called and spoke to Erin -Front Desk manager and she was EXTREMELY understanding and reassured me everything was going to be ok! I met with Dr. Denton who was not only professional but above all COMPASSIONATE AND CARING!! Which is obviously a prerequisite to work in the office because everyone I spoke to was very courteous and kind! My husband was in soo much pain which started Wednesday night. It was Easter week but hoping our dentist would be in. I started calling his office but got no answer. Called multiple times on Friday, still no answer. called Saturday, no answer. I started looking for any dentist that could help. Dr. Denton has a voice mail that gave another # to call for emergencies. He answered & said he could help. He couldn’t get an assistant for that day but asked if we could come in the next day. Recently moved to Las Vegas and of course searching for Doctors and Dentists in the area. My neighbor referred me to Dr. Denton. So I drove over to “check them out” and the office staff was so pleasant and helpful; the office is clean and modern. Whitney at the front desk is very pleasant and cheerful. I made an appointment and then Covid-19 hit. When the quarantine in May was lifted I was able to have my teeth cleaned! I had a VERY pleasant experience and am so happy I decided to choose them. I was with my previous dentist out of state for 20 years….so it’s nice to find another great dentist with a great staff that compliments one another. My hygienist is Nicole, and she is a gem. Very thorough, and has a great personality. I look forward to returning for my routine cleanings and now I have a good dentist…if I ever need/when I need him. I’ve been coming to Centennial Hill Dental Care since it was opened by the former dentist which sold the practice. The one and only reason I’ve stayed is because I followed my hygienist Arann here. Arann is amazing, caring, compassionate, understanding and a true master at her profession. I’ve been seeing Arann every 4 months for the last 10 years. If you need an amazing hygienist Arann is best. As for the overall practice everyone is super nice and professional. I high recommend this dental practice to anyone in need of a great family dentist.

We found this place through the list our health insurance provided when we wanted to find a good dentist in our area, and so far it’s been great! The waiting area is a tad bit small but nicely decorated and welcoming with a waterfall filling the room with the calming sound of trickling water. The assistants are all very nice and helpful. Dr. Jay Denton was kind and communicative. Throughout the whole procedure(a root canal, yikes!) they made sure to ask how my boyfriend was doing. He was slow and steady, making sure his work was thorough. They were happy to work with us with scheduling. So far, we are looking forward to visiting with him again.

I recently went to this location to get a second opinion. The receptionist was extremely family and helpful, and provided me with state-of-the-art technology to sign in. After that, I only waited in the lobby for about five minutes before a dental assistant brought me back to the exam room. I have been going to CHDC for many years. Before Dr. Denton took over, it was Dr. Lewis who ran the practice. The care has always been outstanding and response to any kinds of questions has been prompt. If there were any billing issues or questions, the same have been taken care of promptly. Jay explains and advises what is best for the care and what the options are. Never has anything been suggested that was not needed. Erin does a fantastic job during the regular teeth cleaning visits. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR
Full service general dentist providing implants, family dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and emergency dental care to Las Vegas residents. Dr. Denton grew up in the Houston area and obtained his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Brigham Young University. He later graduated from the University of Texas dental school in San Antonio and completed a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he received training in implant surgery and sedation. Dr. Denton regularly attends continuing education courses to stay up to date with the latest research and technologies in dentistry. He has recently completed Invisalign, laser and implant courses. He and his wife, Lindsay, have three children, and they love living in sunny Las Vegas. Dr. Denton enjoys spending time with family, gardening, cross fit, hiking, and running.
