Dr. Thomas and his staff are incredible, caring and accommodating. I’ve been going to Dr. Thomas for ~3 years for my Invisalign treatment and at the end of it, I couldn’t be happier with the results. It was big decision for me to go through with this as an adult and Dr. Thomas and his staff treated me with utmost respect and professionalism, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Awesome office. Dr. Thomas recommended the best treatment for my particular issue. Mind you, I’ve had braces twice and Invisaligns once, so needless to say I was thrilled when he said that he will fix my gap once and for all and I’ll never need braces again!!! He uses state of the art technology to view the positions of teeth and the jaw bone. No one has ever done that for me. He knew exactly why my gap comes back after only a few months of not wearing a retainer and he told me what he will do to remove the gap for good. I highly recommend this office – the cleanliness, the energy, the service – it’s a win win for all!

From the time I can remember I have always struggled with self esteem issues due to my crowded smile. As the years past I continued to hide my mouth every time someone would make me laugh or stare too long in that direction. I finally decided to do something about my teeth after hearing rave reviews about Center City Orthodontist. From the first day I stepped into Dr. Thomas’s office I was treated like family. I wore my Invisalign for 18 months and each appointment that passed I was always greeted warmly by his staff upon my arrival and departure. Now that I am finish I can’t even begin to explain how much more confident I feel while speaking to people and laughing. This whole experience has changed my life and I would 100% recommend it to anyone who is considering receiving braces or Invisalign. Thank you so much for always making me feel like a priority! Now if we could only get through this pandemic so I can takeoff my mask and show off this smile!

The office space itself is always clean and beautifully maintained; the office staff and Dr. Thomas are the nicest and most genuine people ever; the technology and equipment are top notch! These guys are the best. The entire staff, from the front desk to Dr. Thomas are extremely knowledgeable, out-going, pleasant, and genuine people that care about the person in the chair more than getting through a seemingly overwhelming amount of clients. I’ve been typically greeted at the front desk by Christine, who approached me at Trader Joe’s for a causal conversation… (honestly I couldn’t place the face when she started talking, but that makes her encounter that much more incredible). Best in the city!

Center City Orthodontics is simply the best. Of all of my healthcare providers, this is the only one that I actually look forward to going to. Dr. Thomas is kind, professional and gives you various options for treatment. He does not pressure you to spend money or choose a certain path, but provides suggestions and allows you to choose what treatment plan is best for you. His staff is incredibly friendly and the front desk always greets you with a huge smile. They clearly love working with Dr. Thomas and their work. Even though I don’t live incredibly close to CCD, I always go back to Dr.Thomas and his practice because it is the best experience out there. 5 STARS!

In the first few months of Invisalign treatment I’ve had here, I have nothing to complain about. Center City Orthodontics is a well oiled machine with a friendly staff that wants to give you the best possible smile AND experience. As a 25 year old interested in straightening out my smile, I was initially hesitant about going back to the orthodontist after what a traumatizing few years with wire braces from Penn, but I love it here. The Yelp reviews lead me to this office! It’s a fun touch how they give you a hot hand towel after every appointment.

Two years ago I started the search for an orthodontist in the area to treat me. I had braces out of state as a child but my teeth moved and maybe weren’t done right the first time. I met with three different offices, two of which immediately suggested double jaw surgery without taking any X-rays. Both of these places made me feel like I would be just another patient, and didn’t hear my concerns. I wasn’t ready for surgery and wanted to find a doctor who would listen to me and understand my goal of a straight AND functional smile. Dr. Thomas took the time in my consultation to hear every concern and answer every question. We agreed on braces and remained open on the conversation of surgery if warranted. That special level of care never changed: every person I met in my 22 months of treatment provided incredible customer service. Anytime a wire was out of place they made time for me and each appointment I left understanding where I was along my treatment path. This is also one of the only offices I found in my search where the doctor is on site and doing/reviewing any work on your teeth. I now have an amazing smile which has already changed my outlook on life and made me feel more confident in my career. If you are considering orthodontists in the area, I can’t say enough about Dr. Thomas and his team!

Growing up, my parents couldn’t afford braces. So, I went through life with a smile that I hated. As an adult, wearing braces can be embarrassing. But you just have to embrace it! It is what it is! You can get through it….. because at the end, it is sooo worth it!! The initial process was a long one and began by going to different orthodontists in the South Philly/Center City area to get their opinions and compare their services. I felt that many Orthodontist’s just told me what they thought I WANTED TO HEAR (as in ‘Yes, you are a great candidate for the Invisalign)….even though I knew I wasn’t. Many had limited office hours. Others just wanted me to spend unnecessary amounts of money for ‘new treatments’. I began to give up… but then I noticed Center City Orthodontics as I was walking home one day. It is in a very convenient location– On South St…only a half block to S Broad St. Many SEPTA buses and the subways stops there. I made an appointment for a consultation. It was easy to schedule since they offer day, night and Saturday hours. I met Dr. Thomas and his crew of awesome employee’s and felt an immediate connection. Dr. Thomas is a young guy with a TON of experience. A PENN graduate and solid in the community. He not only still teaches at the Dental School but does International Missions with his father with Operation Smile. During the first year of my treatment, I was preparing for my wedding. And I had some pretty messed up teeth to fix. But Dr. Thomas assured me that my teeth would look great for the wedding. He was right! I went into the office every 4 weeks….but as promised….they looked A-MAZ-ING. I still had some work to do, but he removed and replaced my braces for the wedding and honeymoon ( 3 weeks). The dental hygienists who work with him are wonderful. Christine at the front desk always welcomes you with a big smile. I feel like a celebrity every time I arrive. The entire staff knows my name, asks me questions pertinent to my life and are always interested. Despite our 10 yr age difference, they are the type of professional people I’d be friends with in my normal life. I’m just happy I get to see them every 4-6 weeks. All in all, if your having any qualms about getting braces., my advice to you….DO IT! And once you have them on, you will see so many other people who also have braces. I have bonded with other adults over our braces. Children and I chat about our different colored power chains. And most importantly, I can see a real difference in my smile. Quite easily the best decision I have made in a while.

Honestly, if I could give more than 5 stars I would.  I have never in my life come across such a professional, kind, and upbeat staff.  Everyone in this office is a joy to work with, you will not go wrong when you work with Dr. Thomas and his team of stars.  My fiancé began his adventure with their team long before I did due to some major dental work that he had to have done.  I had accompanied him to more than one appointment during his treatment and was always thrilled at how kind everyone was and how clean and welcoming their office is.  Let me say, thanks to Dr. Thomas my fiancée has a stellar smile that he cannot help but show off.  I was initially hesitant to get my own orthodontic work done, I had Invisalign in the past through a dentist and did not get the desired results the first time around.  After talking with the team, they assured me that I would have my perfect smile in time for my wedding.  After completing almost a year of Invisalign treatments I can say that now I too have a stellar smile to match my future husbands.  I am sure we will both be nothing but smiles on our wedding day and all the happy days ahead of us.  Again, I cannot thank Dr. Thomas and the rest of the team enough for making my smile bigger and prouder than it has ever been.
