The best in LA! Four Seasons of Dentistry. Dr. Dorfman is an artistic dentist with integrity. He’s been doing this for a very long time (over 30 years I think) and it shows in his work. When I moved from New York I told my dentist I wanted the best dentist in LA and he referred me to Dr. Dorfman. I’ve been going to him for five years now and the few times I’ve “cheated” on him I regretted it. Getting dental work is not to be taken lightly..if something goes wrong wait and see the pain that ensues! Any kind of nerve pain is a nightmare so be smart and cut costs some other way but not on your teeth. If you want the best then you found him. I LOVE MY TEETH! I got about 10 veneers on my top row and not only do they look great but they look natural! When I smile you see just that… my smile, not big unnatural horse teeth like some of my unfortunate friends that went elsewhere to save money. My teeth are pretty and they fit my face while not dominating my smile. (I included a picture above.) I’m not going to lie, the process is intense but Dr. Dorfman makes it as easy as possible. The process begins with a book of teeth “styles” you go through so he gets an understanding of what you like and he uses that as a starting point to decide what’s best your mouth. Then it’s time for molding, teeth preparation, temporary bonding, and finally about one week later the big day comes to get your new smile! Most offices take 2-3 weeks to get your veneers ready but I got mine in 7 days. This was incredibly important because I rubbed my tongue on the bonding so much that it got swollen three times its size and I don’t think I could’ve taken not even one more day. Also helpful during the process that his office provides: blankets, headphones, music, and the appropriate medication to relax me. His office is modern and shiny white with amazing views. All of his staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and attractive (bonus!) They take their time to make sure any concerns are addressed. They’re professional, and just very kind people. You can tell everyone likes their job. Like most people, I’ve always dreaded going to the dentist and so even though I knew the importance of dental health I would always postpone my visits. Since I’ve been under Dr. Dorfman’s care I can honestly say my phobia has dissipated and I’m totally fine with going in for my visits. Granted I still have to use nitrous just to get my teeth cleaned but at least I’m staying on top of my dental health and now I actually look forward to going in.

I have been coming to this office for close to 20 years and even though I am now a Senior citizen and the office doesn’t have medicare prices, I will continue coming to this dentist office. The friendly atmosphere of ALL the staff at Dr. Dorfman’s office is simply amazing… total concern and comfort for the patient starting with Sennette. They go above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I started with Dr. Dorfman who then put me in the very very capable hands of Dr. Gary Loosevelt, who has taken care of my dental needs for the last 19 years. When I started with Dr. L., I let him know I didn’t like dentists and told him in no uncertain terms what might happen if he hurt me while working on my mouth. He smiled and turned his music back up and needless to say, he didn’t hurt me then or since and I’m still going to him umpteen years later. Dr. L. has a very friendly, down-to-earth, tell-it-like-it-is demeanor.

Is Bill Dorfman a phenomenal cosmetic dentist, does he go above and beyond to ensure his patients are happy and are his results absolutely second to none? Based on an actual somewhat life changing experience at his practice, you be the judge… It wasn’t me, but my girlfriend, who went to see Bill. This is a true story….. One night at an event in Los Angeles, my girlfriend decided to ride a mechanical bull (If you live in Los Angeles, you know where this was) and, after a 20+ second very slow ride, the bull operator decided to spin the bull around almost 360 degrees, kick the back of the bull up in the air AT FULL SPEED just after my gf started losing her balance, and threw her flipping off the bull, landing directly on her head and neck. We spent the rest of that night and the next morning in the emergency room and, in addition to nearly breaking her neck, for which she has had to have spinal surgery, she shattered her four front teeth. This is a very, very beautiful girl who was (and still is, thanks to Bill) a model, etc… Fast forward to my gf being able to stand up and walk, and we went in to see Bill Dorfman to have her smile repaired. We went there for one reason – we heard he was the best. And, frankly, our expectations were blown away, even above how highly they were set. Bill came into the exam room and it truly seemed like he had all the time in the world – he made us feel like we were his only patient. Now that I’m thinking about it, it takes a lot more than a scientific technician to create a great smile – it takes artistic judgement and aesthetic style. I suppose that’s why Bill spent so much time looking at my gf’s smile from so many different directions, so many different angles, with so much different lighting and with her smiling in so many different ways. It was like a painter or a sculptor ready to get their hands on their art……Anyway, Bill spent as much time as we needed and answered ALL of our questions – I’m pretty particular – but he didn’t get annoyed. He just sat there across from us and gave us his full attention while we discussed all of the pros and cons of our options and alternatives . From a sassy smile to a smart smile, to a cute smile, to a professional smile, to a sexy smile, Bill explained how our teeth say so much about us and we figured hey, since this is our chance, why not have the smile come out that much BETTER instead of just as great as it already was! So we made all of our decisions about shape, color, length, etc… of the veneers that would have to be placed and then my gf was fitted and scheduled for “temporary veneers” while Bill had her “permanent veneers” custom made at one of the best veneers labs in the country. Oh, by the way, here’s what blew us away the most – we all know how busy Bill is and the level of his clientele…. So you can imagine our surprise when – that’s right, you guessed it – it’s 7:45 at night and our phone rings – and it’s Bill Dorfman himself, calling us from his home to make sure that she was feeling okay and to see if she had any additional questions!!! The looks on both of our faces were like “Holy cow, are you serioius!” I mean, who does that anymore? Never mind that I usually can’t even get my own dentist on the phone DURING BUSINESS HOURS, I haven’t had a single dentist EVER call me at home just to make sure everything was okay WITH ME. The end of the story is that, within about a week, my gf had her final veneers put in and they were (and are) I mean – SPECTACULAR. Everything is perfect, we wouldn’t have done anything differently and wouldn’t change a thing about the aesthetic result – which we expected – but it was also an unbelievably personal and literally enjoyable experience – which we altogether did not expect. I mean, after all, it’s going to the dentist 😉 Oh, I have to mention that one of the coolest things to me was that when we went into Bill’s actual office, the wall is just COVERED with pictures of celebrities from Brad Pitt to Usher to Jessica Simpson – and since their smile is literally their career and they can go to ANYONE they want to – we figured that if he’s good enough for them, he’s good enough for us . And he was the best – not just his aesthetic results, but his soothing bedside manner, the intellect with which he speaks about and explains what he can do for your smile and, most of all, his caring nature that makes you feel like you are literally his only patient……By the way, it was kind of cool to run into Sharon Osborne at one appointment (she is jus as sweet as can be) and if anyone thinks that Bill only takes care of celebrities, you should know that one day he came in to see us at his office on a Saturday and, in spite of the fact that Britney Spears manager called him with a dental emergency she had, he took care of us FIRST – and then went to tend to Ms. Spears.

(Updated review 08/06/2020) What can I say but I always leave Dr. Dorfman’s office in a state of utter shock to the sheer mastery and artistry of his dental techniques. I had him complete some bonding and a filling a couple weeks ago and boy was it done flawlessly. I went to a referral appointment after that his office scheduled and the specialist was like I can’t even see the filling it looks so natural and he said that Bill really is a master. When I went in for my bonding I had found out from his office staff that he took the week prior off to focus on his LEAP Foundation which is held annually at UCLA and helps to inspire and motivate Highschool and College students so they can reach success both internally and externally through motivational workshops and key speakers. I asked him about it and he said well due to COVID-19 we went digital but it was a great success. It truly is great to see someone who has accomplished so much in his field give back to the youth so that they can feel motivated and empowered to “LEAP” past their goals. Also in the cosmetic realm of procedures ethics usually come into question as procedure costs can add up. This is usually why many get second or third opinions. (I can say with absolute certainty that with Dr. Dorfman you do not need a second opinion.) He is the Grand Master and has been extremely fair in procedure cost. I have had dentists in the past say you need this and that and then you see Dr. Dorfman and he’s like well I could see one issue but the rest you don’t need but we can monitor those areas. I mean seriously that is just pure honesty. I also would like to give a big shout out to Sennette who has always helped to some how schedule last minute appointments when needed through some sheer magic. She has also always given guidance to my family and I before our procedures and if needed she would get an expedited answer from Dr. Dorfman. I feel that she runs the show behind the scenes and has an impeccable memory and is highly organized. She is so sweet and always asks how we are all doing and you can tell it is truly genuine and from a kind heart. Between Dr. Dorfman and Sennette my family and I feel that we are apart of one big family. So thank you and the rest of the team again for all your great work and making our dreams become a reality!

A friend recommended me to Dr. Bill Dorfman as I needed a dentist in the Beverly Hills-Century City area. Appointment easily made, I arrived to find a beautiful, efficiently run office that surprisingly was not understaffed! I filled out paperwork and then had a cleaning with Suzie. She was very professional and thorough during the appointment and left me with the feeling that she genuinely cared about both my dental health and health in general. I then had xrays followed by an appointment with Dr. Dorfman who also seemed very professional and caring. A couple issues were found that would require a follow up visit for some work and at the same time Dr. Dorfman asked me if there was anything else that I would like to talk to him about after he had made some recommendations to me about some other elective ideas for my mouth and teeth. I made the appointment before leaving and feel very comfortable about returning as the office appeared to be well run with experienced caring employees and professionals who all seemed to be in sync with each other to achieve the best results for patient. Dr. Bill Dorfman is one of a kind talent. I honestly would have never trusted anyone else with my smile. He is a true artist and professional who always creates a bespoke experience for each and every patient. He may be more on the expensive side, but you absolutely get what you pay for. He wrote the book on the “billion dollar smile”…literally, he wrote a New York Times best selling book on the perfect smile. The office is extremely clean and state of the art, with a staff that is friendly and understanding of everyone’s specific needs. I get my teeth cleaned here and have learned so much about my mouth/teeth and improving my hygiene over the years. He also has great dentists in house as well as referrals for surgeons due to his connections over the years working with the top doctors in every department. He also uses his free time to help people in need and is a very generous charity founder of LEAP. 5 stars way up! If you want the best, go to the best. Simple as that.

I am a new patient of Dr Dorfman’s and if you’re looking for the “Best of the Best” in Cosmetic Dentistry, look no further. I have been working “on camera” for decades since I was a child, and needed to fix some very old bonding that had turned yellow and had become visible when I was working. I really wanted to maintain a natural look and Dr Dorfman was highly recommended to me. I made a appointment for a consultation to meet with Dr Dorfman and knew instantly that he was the Dentist I could put my trust in. He had an immediate understanding of what needed to be done for my smile personally and professionally, made me feel instantly comfortable, and I set up an appointment that day to do the Zoom treatment and 2 Composite Veneers. I had a tv shoot coming up soon, and Dr Dorfman made sure to fit me into his schedule right away. Within 2 appointments he had transformed my smile into one I could feel proud of, after years of becoming more and more frustrated with the work that had been done years ago. I was so excited when I left the office, and he even caught me admiring my smile in the mirror of my car as he happened to pull up next to me, which gave us both a laugh… His entire office staff is incredible, professional, patient and helpful… and their positive energy made the treatment a joy. Dr Dorfman’s office manager Sennette is a gem and helped make my appointments work perfectly with my busy schedule. Dr. Bill Dorfman is really top-notch. I made an appointment for a cleaning and to get some bonding done, and I was actually supposed to see a different dentist, but Dr. Dorfman made it a point to see me. We went over my x-rays, he did the check-up, and then after the cleaning (done by Natalie), he did the bonding, which I have to say, he did a great job. My smile is exceptionally better. On top of that, he stayed late just so he could do the bonding himself. Like I said, I didn’t expect to see him since he has so much notoriety, and because I scheduled with a different dentist, but out of nowhere, he called me back and took care of business. I can’t say enough how grateful I am . He’s personable, professional, and just an all around down-to-Earth, cool guy. Came here yesterday for the first time. Had my X-rays done and a cleaning and they recommended the Zoom! whitening treatment afterwards. I can’t believe how bright and white my teeth are now! Totally worth it. I originally came in for a consultation to ask about porcelain veneers but Dr Dorfman was ethical and honest – he said my teeth were beautiful and if I wanted that done I’d have to go somewhere else because he wouldn’t grind my teeth down to do it. Instead he recommended Invisalign for my overcrowding issue. So glad I came here and I feel like I’m in good hands. Staff was very cheerful and helpful. I’m excited to start the Invisalign treatment so I can have the straight confident smile I’ve always wanted. Only bummed I didn’t get on this sooner!

Dr. Bill is a wonderful, warm and incredibly talented cosmetic dental professional. Went to see him for some minor irregularities in my upper and lower teeth. Didn’t think that there was much he could do without charging me a small fortune. To my delight and surprise, in the space of less than 45 minutes, Dr. Bill was able to reshape and bond the weird looking choppers and now they look like I had an extreme makeover of my whole smile. Words can not describe how awesome this office is. First off before coming to this office i had complete dental phobia. I can honestly say just the thought of going to the dentist always made me cringe. I would put it off for as long as I could until I found Dr. Dorfman’s office. I came here many moons ago on a dental emergency. A sudden unforgettable toothache that kept me up all night. I recall calling the office and the staff was very helpful at getting me in 1st thing in the morning. I couldn’t get there fast enough. After my exam it was determined that I needed a root canal, they referred me to an office nearby and were nice enough to call and schedule an appointment for me that afternoon. I was so comfortable with Dr. Dorfman’s bedside manner and staff, they were very helpful and compassionate towards my fear of dentist. They recommended I come in after my ordeal and have full x-rays and teeth cleaning. I didn’t want to go thru that pain again so I came in the very next week and I’ve been a patient there ever since. I’ve had my silver filings changed and fortunately other minor dental issues that had been necessary but I was reluctant to take care of In the past. I’ve seen all the hygienist in the office and love them all equally. I’ve discovered with their persuasion the more regular you are with dental cleanings, the easier the dreadful task becomes. They are always kind enough to remind me when I am due for my next cleaning. I have always been treated with high quality care from Dr. Dorfman, Loosvelt and Rudner and their staff. This is going to be life changing for both my hubby and I. Thanks to the wonderful staff who make you feel welcomed the minute you walk in. Iris is the best and she made me feel so comfortable while cleaning my teeth. Ingrid made us both feel safe and comfortable and the girls at the front deak are the Best! My hubby Brad and I haven’t been to the dentist in around 12 years because we can’t afford dental insurance. But thanks to the Doctors show and the kindness of Dr Dorfman we will have beautiful smiles. I can’t wait to see Brads smile and mine! Dr. Dorfman is the kindest gentlest dentist I have ever been too! And his staff are the most welcoming people. The minute you walk in they make you feel comfortable. What is wrong with these people that give glowing reviews and then leave 4 stars? Dr.Dorfman doesn’t deserve 5 stars he deserves 100 stars. I am 24 years old and hate the dentist, but going to Dr. Dorfman has changed all that. I had the world’s worst crown and lived with it since I was a teenage because I was afraid to go through that experience again, but then I was lucky enough to be referred to Dr. Dorfman and his incredible staff. I overcame my fear and he did the best job ever – in one visit! Ironically I never knew he was the dentist on Extreme Makeover, I was just referred to him through a friend. His work his the best in the business, his staff is so spectacular that I wish I could name them all because they all deserve a HUGE thank you. Thank you to everyone at Dr.Dorfman. The initial call to make the appointment the staff were super helpful – asked all the right questions and reassured me it would be a great experience. Firstly, the reception are wonderful from the time of setting appointment (through email or phone), when you enter the place, when you leave with a smile and again whenever you need to follow up on something. Secondly, Dr. Bill Dorfman was beyond impressive. His level of professionalism and care was absolutely unexpected. Not only does he show you what must be done, but explains exactly why. His approach is not what most people would expect (do now discuss later), but to help ensure the patient understands the procedure fully before starting anything. This is definitely not the simple car salesman type, this is a real dentist who takes pride in his art. Cannot recommend any office more than this office and any dentist more than Dr. Bill Dorfman.

I mean I’m not gonna lie I was nervous about this whole process. I had A LOTTTTT of work that needed to be done and I was super nervous about choosing a Dr to do all of it – as it was going to be the one shot ($$) I had to fix everything. A few friends recommended Dorfman and I must admit that I’m impressed. He’s everything I thought he’d be and more. He has the same persona that he portrays on TV (bubbly and friendly) but I was so surprised to see how much he cared. I’ve gotten a total of 14 veneers and 3 separate partial dentures. He is a perfectionist (which I appreciate as an OCD person) and checks his work over and over until he is confident it’s done properly. His assistant is kick ass and made me feel comfortable every time I was in the chair. And if you have done this amount of dental work you can imagine how long it took to accomplish everything I needed done. Every single staff member that worked on me (ie: prepped me, took x-rays, took impressions, etc) was well versed on my case which made me feel good. I wish I remembered their individual names but I don’t. I just know that they made me feel cared for. They knew how important fixing my teeth was for me and they all supported me from diff angles. I appreciated that I got to pick the “shade of white” and shapes/sizes of my veneers and dentures. What was even more impressive was that the first version that came in for a “fitting” didn’t look like the right shape I had originally asked for and I was nervous to say something but did and Dorfman couldn’t have been more understanding and actually agreed with my opinion. He sent everything back and re-ordered new ones – I REALLY appreciated that as my money only allows me to do this process once. AND to top it all off I was scheduled to leave town and needed the final teeth to be put in before I left. His office manager/staff had the laboratory drive it out (1.5 hours) to the office the day of my last appointment to make my deadline so I can leave town as scheduled. Now that’s what I call service! I was SO touched that my case was as important to them as it is to me. This office has been busy every time I’ve been there and it runs like a well oiled machine. To me busy means good. The staff is on their A game. And I like all the high tech gadgets and machinery – looks like the latest stuff. Even though I probably paid a little more than I would have at another Dr I am beyond happy/satisfied with my decision and would do it again. Fixing my teeth isn’t like getting a haircut – it won’t grow out. I wasn’t willing to go to the “cheaper option” just to save a few bucks. This is work I will have in my mouth for the rest of my life and I needed to be sure it was going to get done perfectly! WooooHoooooo!!!

It may look like the dental version of Grey’s Anatomy (everyone working here is gorgeous) but you couldn’t meet a more kind, genuine, lovely group of people who also happen to be super talented in their respective fields. If you are looking for a place to 100% look after your teeth and want to have a really nice experience during the whole process, please take the time to read about what this office has to offer. I have a complete fear of dental work and hate needles. At Dr Dorfman’s office I got Invisalign and then veneers. This whole procedure is not for the faint of heart and I can easily say that I have had the best experience with this dental office. From Sennette, the office manager, to Dr. Dorfman, who made sure the veneers look perfect, and finally to Dr. Rudner, who came in TWICE over one weekend when my temporaries fell out, this staff and office really knows how to cater to the customer. I will continue going to this office for all other dental work, because they know what they are doing and I finally have somewhere trusted I can go, even if it is a little bit pricier. Sennette should get a promotion as soon as possible… she really made me feel like I was cared for and helped my crisis over a long weekend where my temporary veneers fell out twice – this personableness will continue to make the office a success because she is the one that the customer will be speaking to first and foremost and is a representation of the business. Where do I start, considering this is a review for a dentist office…lol! I’m not sure I know many people that look forward to going to the see the dentist. I grew up with a hygienist and I still dreaded every dentist visit…UNTIL…this place. I cannot express enough the awesomeness of coming here. I found Dr. Dorfman by watching a wellness channel late one night. I needed veneers and every dentist I had seen was full of…well you know… Dr. Dorfman, Sennette and team changed that feeling from my first visit 9 years ago, I was blown away! Sennette and team made me feel like family! My son came with me on that first visit and he’s hooked too. He was 4 when I first started coming here. What 4 year old says “Mommy when are we going to see the dentist again”? There are not enough adjectives to describe this place. It’s like Disneyland and dentistry came together and had a baby…everyone employed here is literally the most pleasant loving human being I’ve met so far in LA! Not to mention, they are all beautiful, with the best teeth ever. I never dread my dentist visits and neither does my son. We literally look forward to our visits. We chat, catch up, and have amazing teeth…all thanks to this amazing, awesome, friendly, loving, caring, funny, happy team! Meticulous, professional, friendly. I went to Dr Dorfman after consideration of all the reviews on Yelp. I was concerned that he might be too expensive- I do not have dental insurance and have to be extremely careful with my finances, but the positive reviews swayed me to make an appointment and I am so glad that I did! I found his office after deciding I needed a new dentist. Briefly, with a shaky family history of dental health, I’ve been very careful to try and take good care of my teeth both at home and by budgeting for regular checkups every 4 months. I thought I was in great shape even though I was having misgivings regarding my last few dental visits which included a couple of fillings that left me in some pain. As it turned out, x rays revealed that the pain was from a molar that could not be saved and needed to be pulled as soon as possible.( Not only was the molar painful but my previous dentist missed the fact that it was also loose!) I was completely shocked and wanted to get this done as quickly as possible. I was happily surprised and very relieved that Dr. Dorfman was able to do this right away. The procedure was quick, basically painless and Dr. Dorfman also touched up a previous filling and shaped two front teeth that I had planned on doing some time in the future. I was further impressed that he followed up with a couple of phone calls that same evening to make sure I was feeling okay. I also received a deep cleaning by Patti, by far the best and most thorough hygienist I’ve ever experienced. I would also like to mention that Jindra who took the xrays could not have been nicer or more reassuring during the procedure. A week later, there is no more pain and my teeth have never looked better. In short, the whole office has been a pleasure to work with and I could not be more pleased to have found Dr. Dorfman and his office and to offer this recommendation.

If you are like me and searching for a cosmetic dentist on the Westside, you’ve found him! My doggie and I were wrestling and he popped me under my chin which resulted in me chipping my front tooth….you know the one right under your nose! I was MORTIFIED to say the least! I spent half a day researching for a cosmetic dentist. I called family, friends, and work colleagues for recommendations. Ultimately, I selected Dr. Dorfman based on my own research of his website, web articles, etc. I even selected him with the not so good reviews on yelp. It should say a lot that I decided to go with a doctor that wasn’t referred to me over physicians who were and that he has a mediocre Yelp review. And here’s why….what I noticed is that the dentist that were referred to me were all “general dentists”. I wasn’t looking for a dentist that occassionally performs cosmetic dentistry, I was looking for someone who is “best in class” in cosmetic dentistry. I liked that Dr. Dorfman’s website showed before and after pictures of the work he’s performed. The referrals I received either didn’t have a website or had no pictures what so ever of cosmetic dentistry work performed. So I made the call. To tell you the truth, I didn’t think I would be able to get on Dr. Dorfman’s calendar but I was able to schedule an appt and within a day. Given I had the front tooth cracked, Neth, with Dr. Dorfman’s office, was so incredibly helpful and understanding on the phone. She made my appointment happen. My other concern was that he would be outrageously expensive given his reputation. My strategy was to set up two appts….one with a doctor who had been referred to me twice (so I figured that was pretty good) and the second with a “hollywood” kind of cosmetic dentist….I chose Dr. Dorfman. By the way his consultation fee was $65 less than the other appt I set up. I met Neth at the office. She said it was nice to meet me and put a face with a smile and took care of my paperwork. The office then directed me to a treatment room where I met Rubin. Rubin is an assistant with the office and is so nice. His daughter and I have the same birthday, he has three children, he is one of five, and I got all this in the few minutes while he was getting me all set for Dr. Dorfman. I then met Luis. Ahhh, Luis. What a lovely man. He took my xrays, and assisted Dr. Dorfman throughout the procedure. Lives in Culver City, same as me, and was full of compliments and reassuring me I would be fine (given my slight nervessnous)…..which is what most people need sitting in a dental chair! ; ) Then I met Dr. Dorfman. He was professional, kind, and clearly intelligent. He immediately recognized exactly what I needed to get my smile back to being brilliant. Watching his face was liking watching an artist before they start to design a piece of work. He took a before and after photo. Also, he spruced up another tooth that had bonding to make it prettier. Another Yelp reviewer wrote that they expected him to do a “once over” of their mouth, that was not my expectation during the visit. It wasn’t what I was coming in for. I expected him to focus entirely on my broken tooth! And that’s what he did. After the procedure was completed, Luis walked me out to the counter to check out. He gave me a goodie bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and a copy of Dr. Dorfman’s book. Neth was there with a big smile and asked me if I was happy. The answer was YES! So happy!! My smile looks better now than before I broke/chipped my tooth! Dr. Dorfman gave me the before and after photo of my smile with a nice handwritten thank you note. It really is amazing to see the difference he made in my smile. I am really, very, very pleased!! I highly recommend Dr. Dorfman!

I just got my ZOOM whitening here! OMG this place is wonderful. Whoa, I was nervous about zoom but the dentists are so attractive I was more nervous to talk to the dentist than I was getting the treatment! Okay, it’s Beverly Hills, so there’s that. That’s my only issue with this place LOL! Reception – When I got into the office all of the reception people were happy, smiling, super kind & answered all of my questions. This is very important to me (I don’t know why but it’s is) so it’s worth mentioning that I was treated with less than zero ‘attitude’ here (yay respect!) and went into treatment more confident as a result. Prep for procedure – I was super nervous after reading & hearing all of the horror stories of popping, pain, zingers etc. I didn’t want any of that but I wanted to get the maximum results so I asked the lovely Dr. if he could numb me so I couldn’t feel anything! OMG … “Of course! if that’s what you want!” He did just that, numbed the entire area & I felt nothing! Thank GOODNESS. I have super sensitive teeth! Procedure itself – it is what it is, you sit under a light & wait. It was rather comfortable, I must say, they gave me a blanket & I slept during most of it. End/ exit – Again super respectful staff, I didn’t want to leave they were all so happy! I asked for a pill to KO (to sleep) if I had super bad pain! “No problem!” Dr. Wonderful wrote a script which I DID end up using, night of, for minor sensitivity & tiny zingers. Results – I have B1 teeth now ( which I’m told is pretty good)! How I ended up here: After a little research I heard/ read this guy Bill Dorfman invented the Zoom treatment & this office quoted me less than other offices “WHAAAT!?” So, Naturally!

My first visit to Dr. Dorfman was about 10 years ago before my wedding to my husband. I had a veneer on a front tooth which was discolored and needed to be changed. After two attempts by my long time dentist to match it, I decided it was time to move on. No other dentist wanted to touch it. They said it was too difficult to match a front tooth and insisted that I needed to do both front teeth, if not the front four. That’s when a girlfriend of mine recommended I see Dr. Dorfman. Not only did he feel confident replacing only the one veneer, but he also made the entire process simple, painless and efficient. And he NAILED it. I went to Bill Dorfman, DDS recently because I heard they had AMAZING chicken fingers there and boy, was I hungry! I ate a whole deer the day before but I skipped breakfast that day and was ready to “chow down”. I walked into the restaurant and asked for a table and the hostess looked at me like I was crazy. She kept repeating “Sir, this is a dentist office” but I knew different. My friend Jerry told me about this place and JERRY NEVER LIES. I became hysterical and put a knife to my ear Van Gogh style unless someone brought me a delicious chicken finger. Finally, after much waiting (and 0 drink refills I might add), an employee there named Melissa brought me a chicken tender that she claims she got last night at Applebee’s. I knew better though. They were just screwing with me. I put the knife down and spent the rest of the night laughing at their joke. Again, sorry I backed up the toilet. So walking into this dental office, I was blown away! It was the nicest dental office I have ever been to between the visuals and the vibe. It makes the other dental offices I have been to feel like you are getting your dental services at a state prison. It truly is like dental Happyland as someone else put it. I immediately thought that anyone who is able to use this place as their dental office is truly fortunate indeed! Over months of service, I was not wrong. I have had a number of treatments over several months from an examination by Dr. Dorfman, to dental cleaning, to Xrays, to Zoom whitening, to cosmetic smile work. The work and results have been excellent to say the least. The Zoom at this office (the most recent and advanced version) got my teeth FAR whiter than another dentist’s office light based whitening system that I had recently done. NOT EVEN A CONTEST! Every dentist these days seems to want to call themselves a cosmetic dentist, but Dr. Dorfman is in a different league. For example, he lasered my gum line to bring more symmetry to both sides of my smile that my last “cosmetic” dentist didn’t even bother to do, or suggest. The difference is huge. Dr. Dorfman is not the cheapest dentist out there, but I do feel that if you want the absolute best, expert eye and work, he is THE MAN! He spent about a minute with a dental grinder touching up the shape of my girlfriend’s upper front 4 teeth and WOW WHAT A NOTICEABLE DIFFERENCE! Having had my work done, both of us knew there wasn’t another dentist out there we would choose to have her teeth shaped over Dr. Dorfman. Sennette, the patient coordinator is a ROCK STAR! In countless doctor office appointments from dentists to surgeons, I have NEVER experienced a patient coordinator provide the level of customer service and personal attention that I received from her. She and the other staff have always given me celebrity VIP treatment. Half of the reason I selected this office over the best cosmetic dentist in San Diego was Sennette and her attention to detail!! Nobody else compared and she made sure I was well taken care of by Dr. Dorfman. The world would be truly an AMAZING PLACE if everyone delivered customer service like Sennette!!
