Dr. Nikhil Desai at Cerritos Family Dentisty, gave the most gentle dental care experience to my twin 13 year old teens – girl and boy, during their first visit. My teens said that Dr. Desai was super-friendly, easy-going, and candidly explained to them all that would be done to during their dental visit, why those are needed to be done, what they could expect to feel, how long it would take, and therefore eliminated all their anxieties and worries. As far as service at Cerritos Family Dentistry. Dr. Nikhil Desai was prompt and my children were seen as scheduled. As far as full-disclosure, Dr. Nikhil Desai communicated very well all of the important information I needed. After the initial visual examination of my children’s teeth, Dr. Nikhil Desai, explained to me what treatment options are available and I was able to make the choice/s that I was most comfortable with.The office personnel, Merissa and Naomi are friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They addressed all of the dental insurance related questions I had. Very nice staff who truly care for their patients! As a patient, there has not been one time of where I can recall where I was dissatisfied. Every time I walked in to my appointment I was greeted with a smile which was comforting and any questions I had they were more than happy to answer and provide a clear explanation! My family and I have been patients here for 10 years. I am extremely happy with customer service and patient care. The dental hygienist Naomi and Maritza are always pleasant, patient and timely with getting you in and out. Dr. Desai is downright lovable. I am not one that loves the dentist and they make me feel heard and lessen my anxiety each and every visit. This is the only dental office my children have known since baby teeth sprouted and thankfully they have no dental fears as a result of coming here

This dental office is so great I have been coming here for years since Dr. Gandhi. But now there is a new Dr. Desai and he is so good at what he does so gentle with the teeth cleaning’s and the girls there are so sweet especially Naomi. If you’re looking for a dentist I definitely recommend Dr. Desai especially if you have a fear of dentists or anxiety. He is gentle, patient and kind! He made me feel calm and safe. COVID safety measures that I observed today: *Before I even came in I was informed that appointments were being scheduled so there would only be 1 patient at a time in the office and they are spaced out to allow time for sanitation between patients. 1. Checked my temperature as soon as I walked in 2. Asked me covid related questions (symptoms, travel) 3. Had hand sanitizer to use before registering 4. There was plexiglass at the check in counter 5. I was the only patient in the office 6. I went to rinse my mouth with mouthwash and wash my hands after I registered 7. Both Dr. Desai and his assistant had masks and face shields on. 8. Dr. Desai explained that they had a sanitation air purifier going. To be honest I came in because I had half a procedure done before covid and needed it finished. I was nervous but all of his safety measures quickly put me at ease. I can tell that he had made it a priority to keep patients safe during the pandemic. Covid aside he is all around amazing. I suffer from anxiety and was having a hard time today. He was so compassionate and let me know we had all the time in the world and could take breaks. After my first visit he called me just to check in and see how I was doing. I’ve never had any medical professional call me to check in on me. As a patient you know he cares about your well being. I guarantee that if you come to Dr. Desai you will become a loyal patient

I was fortunate to choose Dr Nikhil Desai for my general dental care. He office is conveniently located in the Cerritos Triangle Center across from the Los Cerritos Mall. Parking was easy. The moment I walked into his office I felt welcome and his friendly staff added to the total positive experience. Dr Desai is a very caring dentist. His demeanor and the manner in which he explains as he goes through the different procedures was welcome and informative. I am pleased I found a dentist that I will return to in the future. Knowing I will receive excellent care in a comfortable office setting is an important factor that allows peace of mind.
