Hard to find that one dentist you can feel comfortable with. But Dr. To is a great dentist. Took me a while to finally find a dentist I can feel comfortable with. He’s very gentle when working on your teeth. Takes his time making sure you’re comfortable and not in pain. Isn’t condescending and making you feel like you haven’t done your job at taking care of your teeth. Gives you the dental treatment plan he thinks is right for you. Does not pressure you into other unneeded or unnecessary treatments. I came to Dr. To because my tooth was aching. Turns out it was a root canal. There’s only one dentist in my life who made me feel at ease when I had root canals done and that was 20years ago in CT while still in college. Have not found a Dr. like Dr. Oppenheimer since. So yes, it took me ages to find a good and caring dentist that I can say with confidence I’ll return for regular check up. The ladies at the front desk are very nice and professional as well. Jennifer is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. She helps with all scheduling, any questions or insurance questions one needs. I highly recommend this practice.

Our family had been going to another local dentist for more than 13 years. And then they started their “up charging”. We switched to Chantilly Family Denistry and are very happy. The entire staff is very friendly (as opposed to making you feel like they’re doing you a favor by being there..which was exactly how I felt at the former dentist) and professional. The young ladies at the desk are very cheery and genuinely kind. But the very best part of my time there is Parisa. I’m not fond of any dental work, even cleanings, but she is by far the best, most gentle hygienist I’ve every had. AMAZING!! We’re really happy with this practice and really glad we made the move.

Awesome practice! I have been seeing Dr. To for close to 10 years. I am not a huge fan of going to the dentist but Dr. To is always so kind and honest. I am even able to get my husband into the dentist every 6 moths with Dr. To. He truly cares and helps anyway he can. Even if it’s squeezing an anxious teacher in the night before school starts to help ease anxiety about an issue with my gums. The hygienist and front staff, Jennifer, make the practice an all around great practice  I highly recommend!!

Dr. To is kind and honest. What impressed me the most is that he does not try to up-sell you for work that is not necessary. I like to say that he gives you the Honda, Audi, and Ferrari options and lets you decide. He gives you the pros and cons of each option. I’ve been a patient now for eight years and will not go anywhere else because I have come to trust Dr. To and his entire staff. The hygienists are all professional and funny, as is Jennifer at the front desk. If you have been frustrated by other dentists and feel like you are getting pressured in to expensive procedures, definitely go see Dr. To. He will be straight with you and make the experience pleasant…not something often seen in wold of dentistry.

I also highly recommend Chantilly Family and Cosmetics! I have been going to this place for about 7 years now and they are one of the best dentist places that I have ever gone too. When you walk into the place it is so welcoming you feel just like home! All the doctors are really great at what they do and it’s not painful at all unlike other dentists. They are very clean very professional I highly recommend this place!

Chantilly Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is one of the best dentistry I have been with. The entire staff and Dentist are professional in all ways. You will be so pleased to come here and you will never go to any other Dental practice again. The front desk is exceptional, caring and respond quickly. I found Dr. To after a horrible experience with another dentist so I was a little nervous but let me tell you he is a wonderful dentist. Dr. To is a true professional his bedside manner is wonderful and he really knows his business; he won’t quit until its right even a simple cleaning is done thoroughly. I have had several visits over the past year and I happily drive 45 minutes to see him and will recommend him to anyone that ask, Dr. To is simply the best. His office is clean and top of the line and his staff is always very professional and friendly.

I ended up visiting Dr. To as a result of the previous glowing review here on Yelp. I can confirm Dr. To is an excellent dentist. I have seen 4 different dentists over the last 5 years as a result of constantly moving, and he was hands down the best. I’ll start with the fact that he spends a LOT of time with you. I didn’t have a cavity or any other complication and I still spent close to 30 minutes with the doctor. I’ve been to many dentists who don’t spend longer than 30 second of their own time, choosing instead to leave you almost entirely to their dental assistant. His office is brand new and well lit. No 80s finishes or ugly florescent glow, each room is spacious and naturally illuminated through large windows. The space is impeccably clean and the equipment feels modern. Though I didn’t watch any, there are TVs at each of the chairs. Billing was easy with my dental insurance and the staff was very friendly. Overall a very positive and professional experience that left me with very clean and happy teeth.

Dr. To was the very first dentist office I’ve ever been to, at the age of 22. Six years later, at 28, he is still my only dentist! The entire office is very well kept, the people of the office are extremely friendly and inviting. It’s a major reason to continue visiting their office. They keep a great record of all your appointments. Very modern with the text updates/reminders. Initially, I had my reservations about dentists overall, plenty of horror stories from others. Which is why I may have never been until I was 22. Sure enough, Dr. To cleared all those worries away. He takes the time to get to know you and your individual circumstances, provide detailed information about your dental hygiene & recommends the right steps/practices to improve your oral health. Dr. To was able to recommend steps to correct an underbite, a cross bite, crooked teeth AND crowding. He even inserted an implant that I needed, it was painless and looks perfect. Fully trust his practice, always careful and gentle with his patients. If you’re looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. To and the fine folks of Chantilly Family and Cosmetic Dentistry.

We’ve been coming to their office for 8+ years, and our experience has always been wonderful. The staff and Doctors are very friendly and seem to treat each person with care and respect. Everyone takes their time to answer any questions you have and they are so helpful. I would definitely recommend this office to friends!

I started with Dr. To about 8 years ago. I had never before felt as comfortable with a dentist’s guidance and recommendations as I do with Dr. To. He completely described all situations, both those which were necessary and those which could be put off or were not necessary. About 3 years ago I moved further away from his office and stopped going to him. Recently, I had a root break that Dr. To put a cap on 4 years go. The tooth had trauma when I was younger; it is a front tooth! I called the office on a Thursday night and although they were fully booked the following day, they fit me in on Friday morning. I was scheduled to travel for business on Monday morning and simply could not go without a front tooth! Dr. To took and impression and immediately ordered a flipper tooth to be created the same day. I scheduled an appointment on Monday morning, before my flight, to have the flipper installed. It snowed all weekend and most businesses were closed on Monday morning, including Dr. To’s office. However, he kept my appointment and met me at his office at 7am on Monday morning, even though his office had closed for the day. I cannot explain how extremely appreciative I am of Dr. To and his dedication to his patients. I will now travel 30 miles in DC traffic to continue seeing Dr. To. I highly recommend anyone in the northern Virginia area to consider going to Chantilly Family and Cosmetic Dentistry for your dental needs. I cannot say enough good about him and the extremely kind staff that he employs.
