Dr. Tran is the best dentist I’ve ever been to in my 64 years. He is so professional, gentle and caring. He takes his time and listens to anything you may have a question about. As one who is as white-knuckled as can be on a visit to the dentist, I almost fell asleep while he was filling a cavity!! Really! Can’t say enough about this dental group. I’m a client for life!!!!

Dentist is amazing. He’s very professional, courteous, friendly and does a great job. I’m so happy I found him. I would definitely recommend him and his friendly office staff.

Love the new, younger Dr. Tran! My whole family does too! All of the staff is very friendly and professional. Dr. Tran prepped me for my Clear Correct (similar to Invisalign), and the results were great! He explained how the process would work, and answered any and all questions that I had throughout the process. I brought my grandma in for a new set of dentures, and she was so happy with the results! She really appreciated how he took his time, taking measurements, helping her select an appropriate color, and making the necessary adjustments so they’d fit comfortably. He is extremely patient and kind with his older patients. My mom and sister were both happy with his gentleness and how friendly he is.

This a great dentist who I wish I had found a long time ago. He is good, honest and puts you at ease. I would recommend this dentist to all.

I came in because the old bonding on my front tooth was starting to chip/get uneven and Dr. Tran did an amazing job! You’d never know that my tooth was chipped. I love his assistants- they’re all friendly and they make the visit very comfortable. My entire family comes here and they all had great experiences.

I’ve been coming to this dental office for about 20 years and they have always been the best. From when i was a child to now, they are always accomodating, helpful, and do a great job making me feel comfortable. Thank you to the friendly staff at Doctor Tran’s office for quickly finding out my dental coverage and scheduling me in. It had been 2 years since my last checkup (clearly I was overdue). The dentist was never my favorite place but under the care of Doctor Tran I was 100% relieved after my visit!! He handled my deep cleaning with care and answered all my questions thoroughly and with a smile. For the first time in a while I left the dentist happy and content. Thank you Kalina for polishing my teeth and educating me on the proper care of my teeth. I plan to get my teeth whitened next. See you all again soon!!

This is an outstanding dentist who takes his time with you, is very thorough, and is very caring about the care his patients receive. I think very highly of him and will continue my regular visits with him. I’ve been a patient of his for the past three years and he has done significant cosmetic work and his work is incredible and prices are very affordable

I have been going to dr. Tran for at least 8 or 9 years and I absolutely have nothing but good things to say about dr. Tran. I never have to wait more than 10 minutes which is huge for any medical appointments. Fortunately I have not had to have any major works done and dr. Tran is very gentle and courteous and so is his staff, Marcos and Kathy. I highly recommend him to everyone.

I love that Ken Tran Allows you to pay cash for teeth cleaning as most insurances only pay for it twice a year and he only charges 30 dollars for it. Other dentists want three times as much for out of pocket teeth cleaning.

I’ve been going to Dr. Ken since my elementary days and have followed him to every new office. Because of distance, I’ve tried going to four other dentists but I have always ended up back with Dr. Ken. He is a graduate of UCLA dental. Who doesn’t love a bruin?! And because my friend is currently in the dentistry program there, I hear lots of positive things about it and love and appreciate my doc even more. His office is located on brookhurst and chapman. It is clean and nice and it faces the vet so I get to sit in the waiting room and awe at the sight of cute puppies! The staff are incredibly friendly and Dr. Ken is very gentle. I remember fearing dentists before him. The numbing shots were the worst!! Somehow, he had strategies that allow me to tolerate the pain. Going to the dentist hasn’t ever been a problem here. I would drive a little longer just to be treated by him rather than experiment at a dentist behind my house.

I have been going to Ken Tran, DDS for years. My wife introduced me to him and I’ve been coming here every since. Dr. Tran takes care of my whole family. I have had many different kinds of procedures done from routine teeth cleanings, to deep cleanings, to fillings. After getting my teeth filled and becoming cavity free, Dr. Tran couldn’t stress enough that I needed to floss daily. I took his advise and I haven’t had a cavity since. All the work I have gotten done has been great. He really takes his time to get it right. He makes me feel comfortable. He always warns me if he thinks I might feel some pain. He has mastered his technique so he knows how to minimize pain. He really cares about his clients and makes sure you leave feeling satisfied. The staff is also very friendly and personable. I recommend Ken Tran, DDS services because he is an expert in his field.

So glad that I found this dental office. Dr Tran and his staff did an amazing job with some pretty serious dental work that I needed done. Well probably pretty easy to them, but in my eyes, an extraction where only the roots were left of the tooth, is pretty serious work. I had gone to other dentists to get an examination and they did not impress me as much as this office did. So I gave them the work and I’m glad I did. Not to mention the price was less than a quarter of what I was quoted elsewhere. I even canceled my dental plan due to how low i was quoted for cash.

I always had a fear about seeing a dentist, however Dr. Tran made it easy and wonderful for me and my wife. He is very professional, gentle, compassionate about treating his patient. He explained everything thorough every step of the way. I’m glad I found him on yelp. Chapman Dental workers were also great and professional. I will definitely recommend Dr. Tran to families and friends.

I felt welcomed the moment I stepped foot into this office. From the front desk to Dr Tran, everyone was very professional and made me feel comfortable. Dr Tran really does care about his patients. I felt I was in good hands. I had my wisdom tooth pulled out which could be a very frightening and traumatic experience but I felt safe and at ease under Dr Tran’s care.

I elected not to take my employer’s dental insurance because it actually ends up cheaper just going to my family dentist without insurance because he’s known me since I was a baby and never charges me more than he knows I can handle. So that’s all good except I work and live an hour (without traffic) from my hometown where my dear dentist is located. You can imagine how much I was in a panic when I developed this toothache and the next available weekend appointment (didn’t want to take off any work) for my normal dentist wasn’t for another week and a half.. I looked on yelp and called a total of 4 dentists in the area with high quotes for someone without insurance or no answer altogether. I decided to call this office at 1045am on a Friday morning while at work. A nice gentlemen answered and was able to give me quotes over the phone based on what I described that I needed done (based on web md searches online! Lol). He was honest about how much it could go up to but assured me that it would be best to come in, get an xray, check up, and routine cleaning for $50 and then we can discuss options from there. So I made the call at 1045am, was able to be squeezed in at 1115am, ended up getting an xray, got a cavity filled, and a deep cleaning on half of my mouth for that one session and was out by 1230pm and was able to use my lunch break for a dental appointment! Price was a little more steep than what my normal dentist charges BUT I knew EVERY single thing the doctor and his assistant were dping at every second because they patiently explained to me all that was going on the whole time. The assistant was SO gentle and caring. They really made my experience kind of wonderful…who LIKES going to the dentist??! Also, they allowed me to do half of my mouth today for the deep cleaning to help me with my costs!

Dr. Tran is an excellent dentist, great staff. I was seen in a timely manner and appreciated how honest Dr. Tran was about treatment options. This is why I did not mind driving from inland empire to Orange County to be seen by Dr. Tran. It is hard to find a trusting dentist but am glad I was able to be a patient of Dr. Trans.

It’s been a while since I have seen a dentist but that is because I have had horrible experiences in the past. This is best dental office I’ve been too. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. And you dont have to wait a long time. 5 stars.

I have been here for over 20 years. Originally, I started with Dr. Ken Tran. I was in college back then. It is strange for me to say I go to my dentist since they are like family to me. Last year, Dr. Ken Tran retired, and I was sad to hear him leave. However, when I met the new Dr. Tran, nothing had changed. The kind, warm, and friendly interaction has not changed a bit. Maybe because it runs in the family. I always feel welcome and taken care of. The staff is always so sweet and friendly. I clean my teeth every three month, so I feel like I’m visiting my family. My husband and mother both go here as well. If you want a place where you are treated like a human being and not another number, this is the place for you. I’m always happy and satisfied with their work. After 21 years, and I am still coming back tells you what a great place to have your teeth taken care of so that your smiles shine through.

I have been to different dentists over the years. I have seen different prices from different dentists. A dentist in a higher income zip code will charge much higher for the same work done because the market supports it. I have found Dr. Tran prices to be very fair and the quality of work done is very good. He seems to be a person who takes pride in his work. He takes the time to make sure each filling is shaped perfectly so that your bite is comfortable. I have recommended friends and relatives to his office and they are all satisfied customers. So if you are looking for a dentist who does quality work at a fair price this is the place for you.

After a really baaad experience with another dentist closer to home (we’re talking down the street from my house), I looked up Dr. Tran and saw positive reviews, so I thought, “Hey, it has to only get better after what I just went through, right?” Total 180 is saying it mildly. Dr. Tran’s front office staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. His facility is nice and clean, with ample parking. Dr. Tran listened as I ranted on and on about my horrible prior experience and answered the million questions I asked of him. He is completely polite and knows his craft. He is NOT in it for the money, which is not what I’m used to at all. My last dentist said that I needed a root canal and I had 4 cavities that needed to be drilled and filled (I hadn’t been to the dentist in 8 years, but daaang!!!). He insisted on using the white fillings instead of amalgam, even though I told him that my insurance only covers white for front teeth and that I was ok with amalgam on my back teeth, and he acted like he wouldn’t do it if I didn’t go his way. He also told me I badly needed a gum irrigation. My bill was going to be over $2000, none of which my insurance would have covered. When I told Dr. Tran this, he explained to me that the “root canal” I needed was simply a cavity that needed to be filled and maybe kept an eye on. My “4 cavities” must have magically disappeared, because Dr. Tran couldn’t find what I was talking about. The closest thing was that I had 4 amalgam fillings present (that did NOT need to be changed, whatsoever). That “gum irrigation” that I so desperately needed? Dr. Tran told me that only people with gingivitis NEED those, and that I obviously didn’t. Dr. Tran told me it was my choice between which filling property I wanted to use, and told me the pros and cons of each when I inquired, and never once did he try to push ANYTHING on me. He was completely respectful and truthful, and I came out paying out of pocket whatever my insurance didn’t on my one cavity. I highly recommend Dr. Ken Tran, he’s an excellent dentist, and I used to drive 45 minutes to see him (totally worth it) before my dental insurance changed, and he was no longer covered under my plan 🙁
