I am not someone who writes reviews often, but I need to share how fantastic my experience at Charleston Family Dentistry has been. If you are reading this review because you are looking for a Dentist then let this be the reason you choose this Dentist. For the past few years, I have been very embarrassed by my teeth. I had two visible cavities on my front teeth and I finally worked up the nerve to see a dentist about it. My co-worker recommended that I visit Charleston Family Dentistry after hearing me mention that I needed to go. I am so happy that I listened to them because this was undoubtedly the best dental-related experience I have ever had. From the moment I walked into the office, and throughout my cleaning and exam, everyone was so welcoming and kind. Not once was I made to feel bad about my teeth. It’s a good thing I finally got into a dentist because it turns out there were several other issues that I did not even know about. Dr. Barrows and his team were fantastic. They gave me options, talked to me about a plan of care, and they were able to get my follow-up appointments scheduled quickly! I walked out of my next appointment with the BEST SMILE I HAVE HAD IN YEARS! I am beyond happy with the care I received and I highly encourage everyone to make Charleston Family Dentistry their go-to dentist! To further prove my point, I am posting the before and after picture to this review. Thanks to them, I truly feel so much better about my smile. If you are looking for a dentist, one that makes you feel comfortable and provides excellent care, then look no further.

I moved to Charleston about a year ago, and before that only one dentist office had ever touched my teeth. I have had a lot of work done over the years, as I was born without a tooth and needed braces, so I was hesitant to have anyone else work on my teeth. Everyone I’ve met here is very friendly and professional, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Charleston Family Dentistry!

Upon entering Charleston Family Dentistry as a new patient, I was immediately warmly greeted by the front desk staff. I was given enough time to fill out my new patient paperwork and I did not feel rushed at all. When the dental hygienist brought me back for my cleaning, she explained everything that was going to happen and even accommodated a special request that I had during the cleaning. Before she began, Dr. Barrows introduced himself to me and let me know that he would be back to look at everything once my cleaning was finished. During the cleaning, my dental hygienist was very gentle, observant, and accommodating. Dr. Barrows finished the visit by looking over my x-rays and teeth and talked me through his thoughts. Overall, it was the best experience I have ever had at a dentist’s office and I will be back!
