I have been terrified of dentist my entire life but baby!!!!! ….. My experience here was beyond wonderful. When I can eat good again I’m going to take my friend who referred me here to lunch!!!!! The staff was professional, kind, and understanding from the moment I walked in the door. Dr. Yu was nothing short of amazing!!! My tooth extraction was quick and painless. I really appreciate everything this office did and I would recommend it to anyone.

The doctors and staff are simply amazing. Everyone was kind and gentle, making sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was happening. I’ve been here 4 times in two months to deal with my dental issues and can honestly say after the first visit I had no fears or worries about the following visits. They do a great job and I couldn’t be happier with my new healthy smile, thanks to them. Sometimes you have to be patient and wait, as it is an emergency dental office, but for me it was always worth it. I’ve never been to an office with such wonderful doctors and staff. Thanks again for everything CED!

I went here on Good Friday as a walk in with horrible tooth pain. It took about 20 minutes to get in because I should have done the paperwork before I got there.Then the procedure took maybe 30 minutes, which was 2 extractions. Everyone in the office was really nice and tried to make me comfortable. I was extremely anxious about being there. Dr Yu was awesome. He came in and let me decide what I wanted to do and then he gave me some novocaine and got the teeth out. It did hurt but it was because it was so infected. But I’ll tell you that it feels so much better now even after the novocaine wore off. There’s literally no pain now even where the extractions were. Thank you so much Dr Yu for helping me! There was no way I could have gone another day in pain like that! I’m extremely grateful for Dr Yu and his whole staff.

I prefer Charlotte Emergency Dental to having a personal dentist. They always address the issues I have and never try to get me to have additional work. They feel like a small, friendly family, and take the time to talk to you and answer questions. They always take excellent care of me. Don’t be fooled that they are an emergency dental facility. These great, experienced people are like family. You won’t regret giving it a try!! The only place I go!!!

I highly recommend Charlotte Emergency Dental for your dental emergencies. I am a very nervous patient, but Dr. Yu was very friendly and explained everything he was doing, thereby, putting me more at ease. Dr. Yu’s assistant, Diane, was also very kind and compassionate. Honestly, everyone at the office was very nice. I thought the costs were also very reasonable.

I would like to personally thank Dr. Yu and Vicky for the outstanding customer service I received today. Vicky insured that I was taken care of during the check in process. She was professional and polite during a very frustrating time. Vicky’s kindness more than made up for the uncouth young woman who initially greeted me. Dr. Yu singlehandedly consulted with me and listened to my concerns then offered a solution that addressed my health and immediate needs. I sincerely appreciate his attention to detail and patience. He’s a stellar doctor and I’m truly grateful he helped me during my emergency visit.

WONDERFUL!!! WONDERFUL!!!! From the first call to the checkout! Best experience I have ever had at the dentist! The staff is so Professional, caring, and kind!!! I had a BAD toothache! They were quick to get me in without an appointment, the procedure (extraction) went quick and painless! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! I was in and out in 35 minutes!!!!

I woke up Sunday morning and my face was swollen on my left side. I had an old crown that was hurting and I couldn’t even bite down on it. I dreaded going to the dentist but I checked my gums and realized my face was swollen because something was infected. I needed relief right away so I starting searching for dentists that were open on the weekend. I called Charlotte Emergency Dental and the assistant at the reception desk was so friendly and encouraged me to get there as quickly as possible. They take walk-ins. I arrived around 11:30. There was only one dentist in that day but I wouldn’t have known that if they weren’t kind enough to let me know. There were about four people ahead of me but since the dentist was going to be able to see me that day, I waited. By 2 pm I had x-rays done, a consultation, and then oral surgery to remove an abcess and extract the bad tooth that was underneath my crown. Dr. Yu was genius!. He was even able to salvage part of the crown. Wow! The staff was super nice and I feel so much better. The receptionist made sure I had all the paperwork ready for my insurance and everything was explained so clearly. Thank you!

Amazing experience and care from the first call to simply inquire about the particular needs I had to the follow up calls after my procedures. Competitive prices with exemplary service and care. I rarely write reviews but felt it was the least I could do considering my experience. Very highly recommended this team!
