I have gone to this dental practice my entire life. For many years, my dentist was Dr. Wilson and my hygienist was Kathy. Both have retired. Dr. Hager came in before Dr. Wilson was fully retired and has now taken over the practice. The staff is always pleasant and friendly. The hygienist I’ve seen for the last 10 years, Liz, is wonderful, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough. For insurance reasons, I visited another office for a year or two. That’s a whole other Yelp review, but long story short is that the other office wasn’t really cleaning my teeth. It took two long and painful cleanings to undo the damage done by the other office, but it was necessary. Liz was able to show me the tarter that had been left below my gumline. Now that the damage has been corrected, I know my next cleanings will be much easier, but they will always be thorough. The thorough cleanings I’ve always received at this office are the key to truly preventative dental care. And preventative dental care isn’t just about your oral health. Cardiovascular disease can be influenced by the mouth too (it’s all the same bloodstream, but Liz can explain it to you better). Unlike the terrible office I visited a few times, I’ve never been talked into having anything done to my teeth that doesn’t need to be done. This is not a sales office, it’s an office that focuses on preventing the dental health problems everyone fears. While they are not in-network for any dental insurance, they do accept all dental insurance. For some, this may make a visit here more expensive, but the quality of care, the friendliness and knowledge of the staff, and the thoroughness of the cleanings make it worth every penny. I trust this office. I trust Liz and Dr. Hager. After the experience I had elsewhere, that’s the most important thing to me.
