Excellent office. I had a big dental emergency Friday evening and thank goodness Dr.Spero was there to help me. He was very friendly and calm and got me in first thing Saturday morning. I have many dental issues and generally very nervous and anxious about dental work. Dr.Spero was honest about what needed to be done and explained how it would go. I felt very comfortable and at ease during my two emergency root canals. I was taken care of in a timely fashion and even arrived to work on time! The entire office was friendly and helpful to me. I look forward to returning to Dr.Spero

I highly recommend Citadel Dental. I started coming here in 2008 after I had a bad experience at another office. My experience here has always been wonderful. Dr. Spero is a real professional and truly cares about his patients. I’ve had cleanings and other procedures done, along wirh 3 wisdom teeth extracted throughout the years, and it was not a frightening experience it was actually painless… fast forward to today, my husband got an extraction this morning and he was surprised about how painless it was. Thank you Dr. Spero & staff.

My family and I have been going to Citadel Dental since 2008. Dr. Spero is a very professional dentist. He is kind, patient and caring. I was terrified of dentist after a very bad experience with a previous dental office, but Dr. Spero made everything better. I had 3 wisdom teeth extracted and it was painless. I highly recommend him.

I do not know what people are saying about the customer service here. Let me start off from saying the experience from the second I walked in the door, to the second I walked out the door was all so welcoming and genuine. They showed a sincere care for me from the friend desk, to the hygienist, to the doctor. They where all so nice and seemed very informed and where able to answer and exceed all my questions. I will be sticking around this office for a very long tome. I strongly recommend them.

Today I came here for taking out my wisdom teeth The dentist is so so so so so so nice and funny and professional.when i was x-ray, he explain to me very patiencely and show me colorful pic to me. And tell me one of them i can not take out. I really want give him a super big hug and say thank you when my teeth were taked out.. By the way ,No pain at all. When my mouth was num , his assistent help me knead my cheek. She is so nice. I’m the people really scared go to dentist or hospital. If I have any treatment usually I m scream. But I didn’t scream today. He is super good . I will recommend my friend to him if someone need a dentist. No worry. No pain. Easy and happy. Very good experience. I like here. Haha.

Dr. Spero worked on my crown and he did an awesome job. Dr. Spero takes his time with his patients and explains the process which I appreciate. I’ve been coming to Citadel Dental for quite some time and even though it’s a little ways for me it’s been worth it.

I would like to say thank you to CITADEL DENTAL GROUP  this dentist took very good care of me  Dr Spero  answered the phone March 17 sunday evening i was in tears so much pain excruciating pain and to top it off im a stage 4 cancer patient so i was so worried about getting an infection i had to have 2 root canal thats what a dentist that i went to told me but they would’nt work on me until my insurance approved the work that needed to be done and it could take 4-6 weeks they told me…..well medical is the insurance i have so they gave me no answers but to go home and wait for approval i had been in so much pain for 2 weeks and i just couldnt take it any more so when i called DR Spero and he right away told me not to worry that he would help me to be at the office in the morning this man Dr Spero is a man of his word….He was a Angel in my eyes he took very good care of me with the kindness of his heart….

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now. My daughter recently asked me; Why do you always come to this office? It’s because he’s a good dentist and doesn’t hurt you at all when you need a root canal! He’s the nicest dentist and always is very thorough and explains everything through high tech images on a computer screen that’s stationed right up front of your chair. The dental assistants are always ready to assist you in any concerns you might have, and are super friendly! The office is modern and very clean, including the restroom. I am no longer nervous when I need to visit the dentist!

Dr. Spiro was great, I had tooth pain on Saturday, started looking for an emergency dentist, the only person who answered me was Dr. Spiro, he went over an beyond, he opened his office on Sunday and did a root canal for me, also he was very concerned and called me back for follow up and check if there is no pain and if everything was good. Dr. Spiro was not only a pain relief saver but he was an angel. Thank you

Dr Spero and his assistants are awesome. They get the job quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price. They are gentle and compassionate. I’m originally from no ca so I have been searching for a dentist I can feel comfortable with.  They have 3 offices which makes it  very convenient . I highly recommend them. You will not be sorry.  Best dentist in LA hands down

Love this place. 5 stars to DR. Spero, he helped me out in a dental emergency and took real good care of me. From the staff to the front to the staff in the back, everyone is very knowledgeable about what they are doing. O did I mention this place has a 24/7 on call dental emergency line. Dr. Spero is now my new dentist. P.s he is super quick with minor procedures. They have extensive knowledge in dental work. I  feel so much better thanks everyone at citadel dental group. I look forward to seeing you Tuesday.

Dr Spero is very good and knows what he’s about. He and his staff make the whole experience of going to the dentist(one of the most commonly unpleasant there is) feel easy. The staff will work with you on a payment plan if your insurance can’t cover the entire amount. They are also very informed on dentistry and take most kinds of medical insurance.

Dr. Spero is great! He’s very accommodating, quick, and wonderful at what he does, he also makes sure you’re never in pain while he works! I highly recommend him, and the staff that work here are so lovely and helpful as well!

I hateeeeee going to the dentist. Due to that I’ve needed to have various procedures done. I dreaded the time, money and pain. However, Dr. Spero has made it way more bearable! Dr. Spero and his staff are all very efficient, friendly and personable. I cannot really put into words how efficient the staff is. It left me in awe! He works with your insurance, your budget and what procedures need to be done. I highly recommend Dr. Spero! Amazing. Amazing. Amazing.

Seeing those 2 negative reviews made me want to talk about this dentiststry and how great it is. Ever since I was a child I’d always go here for my dentist appointments. Due to my young age and TV I was scared to go to the dentist and even more when I would have to get a shot to num my mouth. As the years went by Dr. Spero would see me again and again as I got older. I soon respect him since he always asked how life was and how I was doing and calmly explained to me what would happen during my appointment. The staff there are very pleasant and patient as well. Recently when I got a wisdom tooth removed, the Doctor explained to my that if I heard cracking it was natural and he was asking how I was doing throughout to make sure I was fine. And before the operation ever happened he wanted to get clearance for root canals and wisdom tooth extraction before my insurance wouldn’t cover it. He wanted me to be covered thinking of me and my family. Also to that person who complained about waiting, it’s a dentistry jackass. Learn to be patient. And to the guy who wanted something for the troubles, he apologized and he isn’t obliged to give you anything.

To start off I wish I could give this dental office a 10 stars. My husband was experiencing extreme tooth pain & was scared to go to the dentist due to his past experience. Once he landed in care of Dr. Farrah his fear was gone she took care of him made him feel comfortable. The next day we returned & he seen Dr.Farrah’s husband which is Dr. Spero he was amazing as well extracted the tooth checked on him to make sure he was doing well! Overall it was the best experience we had amazing team all so very friendly. I highly recommend this dental office definitely returning!!!

We met Dr Spero as an emergency on Sunday. I called at least 3 dentists that we knew and told them my husband was in excruciating pain but none of them were willing to see us in Sunday. Dr Spero said right away that he is willing to treat my husband. I understand, you’d say it’s $ for him. But I think it was his heart and Dr duties. My mom was a Dr and I know that all doctors give the oath to help the patients in pain. Dr Spero made my husband very comfortable. We really liked his manners and attitude. My husband said that he was very gentle and kind when doing the surgery (he needed an extraction, we already knew about it) and made the procedure very easy to go through. So we are going to be switching our dentist to Dr Spero and his wife.  They are located very close to home and most importantly we Loved the work he did and this is what matters

Im not a big fan of the dentist but I was in pain and scared! I decided to go get my tooth checked out and sure enough it was my wisdom tooth and  it needed to come out. Just the thought of having my tooth pulled put me on edge.  I was so nervous i was litteraly shaking. Dr. Spero explained  what to expect before, durring and after the procedure. Which I thought was great. I had been to other places to get estimates on pulling these darn wisdom teeth and they just send someone in right away to tell you its going to cost about $500 to pull out ONE tooth. The girl at the front deck was really kind and assured me that i would be paying $500 for my tooth to be pulled. (which was a huge plus for me.) The assistants were nice and talked  to me to calm me down and to distract me from thinking too much about the procedure. The entire tooth pulling process took about 10 min tops and i didnt feel a thing. Dr. Spero was so gentle i didnt even feel the poke from the needle. I am so glad i came in and was able to get this done and not have to pay $500 for a 10 min job.

I found Citadel Dental Group through Groupon. I read the reviews and decided I wanted to schedule an exam with Dr. Spero. I submitted my information online and about 30 minutes later I received a phone call regarding my inquiry! I was highly impressed. Most times when filling out any type of form online either you never hear back from anyone or it takes days before you receive a response. I came in today for my consult and I was still very highly impressed. As soon as I walked in they knew who I was. I found Dr. Spero to be very pleasant and knowledgeable about general dentistry. I am huge on customer service and that alone has sold me and helped me make the decision to go with Citadel Dental for my dental treatment.  I have now found my new dentist

A while back I started having horrible tooth pain, I was crying and everything, it was bad. I didn’t have insurance so I figured I was asked out and thought I would just show up to the USC emergency clinic at 4am and have the tooth pulled out. My uncle found Dr. Spero online and contacted him, it was the weekend and he was with his family and he opened up his office to see me for an emergency appointment. Ever since then I only come here for my dental work, I have care credit, insurance through work and I also save a little on the side from each paycheck and get work done as I can afford it since I’m a work in progress. He is very patient and understanding and what I value most is that he tells it like it is and he’s very straight forward. I don’t understand some of these negative reviews and I definitely don’t believe them, he really really knows what he’s doing. I recommend this place!

I’m writing this review for my mom as she does not really know how to write reviews. I brought her in for her appointment with Vinny and he turned something that could have been a complete tragedy for her into something tolerable. Her tooth had broken under her crown and it had to be pulled and further she would need a bridge. She was very upset and in tears and Vinny very patiently talked to her and I and it really helped to reassure her and calm her down.  Vinny goes way above and beyond with his patients. You can tell he genuinely wants to do the best for each person and also wants to be fair with the charges. Even though he didn’t think my mom’s insurance would cover her work she needed done he still said he would try and put part of it through. He also said he would do everything possible to see that she would pay the least as possible.  Vinny is the best guy ever,  patient kind,  attentive and empathetic and to top it off he also happens to be a great dentist, oh and honest!  He is so skilled at giving shots my mom said she felt nothing and she had to have several. He is just one of those people who was born to be a dentist. My Mom had a major tooth pulled with no malfunctions and very little bleeding and not much pain afterwords. I would recommend this Dentist to anybody who asked. Thank you Vinny from the bottom of my heart for being so kind to my mom. We really appreciate it!!!

I have to start off that i have been very fearful when it comes to any type of dental work, but realistically who isn’t? I was told a while back that i needed to have my wisdom teeth extracted, and of course.. i put it off due to the fear. So I had a sudden amount of pain on my left side and it was my wisdom tooth, it was impacted. So i set an appointment and went in, nerves on edge and all. I had a seat and the process was so quick, painless, and just overall amazing. I have referred a co-worker there and her children love it and felt comfortable. I’ll admit, i’m looking to have my right wisdom teeth extracted very soon based on the comfort and communication of Dr. Spero throughout the procedure. I highly recommend this place.
