I absolutely love going to the dentist. I know.. I’m weird. But the experience I had this morning has blown away any other experience I’ve had in Charlotte. My appointment was for 7am and I arrived around 6:45am. (Pro tip – the elevator doesn’t work until about 6:50am, so keep that in mind.) I can’t recall the name of the lady at reception but she was very friendly for it to be that early! I filled out my paperwork and was promptly taken into the exam room where x-rays were done. Of course, x-rays are probably the most uncomfortable part of the entire experience (bite wings to be specific.) My hygienist made me feel so comfortable and carried conversation with me! My cleaning went by quickly, most likely due to me watching the television attached to my chair 🙂 Dr. Jesse Walsh came in and did his thing and he was very friendly! He was honest and made everything easy to understand. Oh! They also provide free whitening for LIFE! In a nutshell, City Dental is the most personal and friendly dentist office in Charlotte. I’ve found a new home and I wish I could come back for a cleaning more than once every six months! I have no cons.. literally can’t think of anything. Two thumbs up. 6 stars. I’ll be telling all of my friends. Another pro tip – Duck Donuts is right next door. But don’t go there until AFTER you see Dr. Walsh.

This place is a hidden gem of a dentistry! The hygienist was very professional, nice, and explained everything she was doing. Also, you know that you have gotten a good one, when you leave the dentist and your teeth and gums are not sore at all! The dentist, then came in, and was very professional as well. Explaining to me work that needed to be done. However, very pleasingly, was not pushy at all, unlike many other dentists around. Before leaving, I was given a quote for the work done with what my insurance will cover and what I would exactly need to pay out of pocket. I am throughly pleased, and even more surprised to say that I cannot wait to go back to get a cleaning.

This is honestly the best dentist I’ve ever been too. The staff is super friendly – especially Crystal who is super kind, welcoming and conversational even when cleaning your teeth which is hard to do. They’re also really clear on what you’re paying for/what’s covered by insurance and what isn’t and they don’t pressure you for any “extras”/dental work that isn’t necessary. Always have a great experience here.

Have been going to City Dental for a couple years now and have never once had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. It’s very obvious that their office is managed extremely well. After less than par experiences of other dentists trying to “upsell” things to you, this is refreshing to get a transparent conversation from Dr. Walsh on what he recommends and what is going on. The front office staff and hygienists are always extremely courteous and professional, anytime I’m paying something other than insurance covers they thoroughly detail a treatment plan and aren’t pushy. If you’re looking for a simplistic, dental experience that you won’t absolutely dread, check them out!

Dr. Walsh is very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable, which helps alleviate any nerves (no pun intended)! Anna is very responsive which makes scheduling super easy. The City Dental team also understands that the cost of your dental work can add up, and they will be honest with you on what is a priority and what can wait in order to work with your budget. I can’t say that I enjoy dental visits, but I can say that I have had nothing but great experiences with City Dental.

This is my second time there and I’ve consistently had the best experience! I loved how the dental hygienist made sure to regularly water and vacuum my mouth. I hate when my saliva fills up while I’m getting a cleaning! Dr. Jesse Walsh is the best dentist I’ve ever come across! I experienced zero pain while getting my gums numbed for my fillings and he did a great job answering all my questions and concerns. Such a wonderful and professional establishment! I have definitely found a permanent dentistry!

The times I’ve been at City Dental I’ve had such calming experiences. They keep plants in every room and that adds to the relaxing experience. Also, they take every precaution during such scary times. Everyone wears PPE at all times which gives me peace of mind. Best of all, my smile is turning out beautiful ☺️. I love me some Dr. Walsh!

Dr Walsh and staff are very personable and have made it to where I HONESTLY look forward to going to the Dentist. I have never been uncomfortable and they are very flexible with my schedule. I could talk to them forever but theres only one problem they are always working on my mouth!! Lol. Hes got his work cut out!!
