Dr. Bajuscak is the most gentle and down to earth dentist I have ever had. With a wonderful bed-side manner and lovely sense of humor, he makes me feel at ease. I’m a grown woman but that does not diminish my fear of the dentist due to bad past experiences elsewhere. “Terrified” would be a better word to describe my apprehension of going to the dentist but then I found this clinic. Yes, sometimes the needles still hurt but he ALWAYS cares about how I’m doing during any procedure. He talks me through what is happening and he just seems like he actually cares. He is NEVER in a hurry. If you’re terrified of the dentist like I am, you understand the critical importance of a dentist taking his time. I should add that I also have Crohn’s disease and the injections I take to control it cause my immune system to be compromised. For this reason, many dentists were not able to provide me appropriate treatment. It was too complex and I suppose I was a “difficult patient” due to the medical issues. Dr. Bajuscak is the ONLY dentist that has been willing to listen and provide treatment around all of my medicine allergies, healing issues and sensitivities. This is a rare find. I feel blessed.

Of course, after I graduated from college, my dental health kind of took the back seat, but then I met Dr. Bajuscak and he fixed me up. I have had a family dentist my whole life but when I moved permanently to Portland, I had to find someone new. Dr. Bajuscak is a perfectionist when it comes to teeth, and he is also a great person. He is very interested in his patients and he is very easy to relate to. His staff is also very friendly and helpful. His office is equipped with the latest technology but it still has a very non intimidating feel.

Quite honestly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Everyone from the front desk to the hygienists to the doctor has a smile on their face (even at 8 am!). I’ve only been going for about two years but they remember me – even my hobbies. I also have some tricky stuff with my jaw, and out of the blue I got a call from them about a new physical therapist who specializes in jaw problems – they told me they heard about the doctor and thought of me. That kind of thoughtfulness about patients is one in a million. Overall, they are knowledgeable, friendly, and convenient; they even send text message reminders (if you opt into it). The office is clean and up-to-date. One of the hygienists told me they’re on their way to entirely paperless. I send everyone at my office to them and Dr. Bajuscak.

These people are the best! I came in with severe tooth pain from a a missing filling. They took care of it that day and, when I went in for my follow up, Dr. Bajuscak gave me a full set of x-rays and gave me a filling in another tooth I was having a problem with free of charge!!

Dr. Bajusak and his team are amazing. He’s been my dentist for a few years now and recently straightened my teeth using the Invisalign treatment. My teeth are perfect now and I keep getting compliments. The process was easy and his staff make me feel so welcome every time I come in. The office is clean and bright. They obviously invest in new technologies in order to being the best possible dental care to each patient. They hygienists are very thoughtful and considerate. In particular, I have a very sensitive tooth and they always remember which one it is and adjust their cleaning technique to keep me as comfortable as possible. I’m a patient for life! Go see them!

This place is the best! All of the staff are so friendly, kind, and helpful. They always remember my name at the front desk, which feels so welcoming. Their office is very clean and all of their equipment is state-of-the-art (as far as I can tell–I am not a dentist but compared to the last place I went it certainly seems to be).

Receptionists were super friendly! Hygienist was a pro and Dr. Bajuscak is the best dentist I have ever been to. I appreciated their professionalism. Going to the dentist is typically something I avoid, but I know I will the best service possible here. Plus they validate parking ! Highly recommend!!

Complicated issue (conceptually) but now I really couldn’t be happier. I’m a Crohn’s Disease patient with many drug allergies and medically immunosuppressed. Good luck finding a dentist to touch you with a ten foot pole. After more than a few horrifying experiences at random dentists over the last 7 years, I gave up. Then, my filling broke. I was in pain and had no insurance and no dentist I trusted with all of my issues. After looking up “best dentists in Portland” I read hundreds of reviews for a dozen dentists or so. Dr Bajuscak had the best, most recent reviews for being amazing and kind. Turns out, he’s much more than that. He’s a great dentist. Intelligent and not at all condescending to those of us who may have a mixture of rational and rather irrational dental fears. I’ve only had a build up and crown done so far but I’m so happy. He works dentistry magic. What a kind and gentle man with a very genuine heart and kind staff. My assistant was so sweet. I had the crown put in today and I didn’t feel a thing. I was so elated. Thank you Dr Bajuscak and staff…I’ll be back in 3 weeks for a cleaning and more work. So happy. I love my new tooth.

I have been to MANY dentists (probably a dozen in my life), some good, some bad. Dr Bajuscak and his staff are by far, the best I’ve ever been to. His scheduler is very sweet and helpful and found all of my insurance benefits for me. The dental assistant and hygienist I saw were friendly, happy, and did a great job. Dr Bajuscak was also very pleasant, easy going, and good at explaining what was going on, and his recommendations. When I left, I was given a treatment plan from their care coordinator with what Dr and I discussed, and it had an outline of the cost (mine and insurance) and she booked my next appointment. The appointment where I actually got the fillings was also great. I’m very impressed with the work and am so happy to have found this office. Speaking from unfortunate experience, your teeth are too important to risk with a less than great doctor- you only get one set! (Well, I guess technically two) but you know what I mean.

My first appointment with Dr Bajuscak went very well! I did not have to wait, his dental assistants and front desk staff were top notch and he diagnosed and began work on my broken tooth right away. Dr Bajuscak is very professional and has a very personable bedside manner. He explains everything very well and I never felt rushed. All my questions were answered. The clinic is modern and clean. I highly recommend him!

I had a really great dentist who recently retired, and I was super bummed needing to go to a new office. He recommended me to City Dental, though, and I’m so happy he did! The staff was very friendly, the hygienist was awesome and super knowledgeable, and Dr. Bajuscak was very friendly and answered any questions I had! It was a great experience, and I look forward to being a patient for many years to come.

Previously I had experienced horrendous dental care and my appearance suffered due to it! Now I smile confidently again and my ministry has been enhanced. Dr. Bajuscak and his staff our very professional, as well as respectful of your needs and comfort. You might say “their like family!” If there was a way that I could give them 10 stars I would, but since I can’t they have my loyalty and my forever gratitude. God bless each of you.
