I just had my first appointment at City Roots after leaving a former dentist I was unhappy with. The care I received here was phenomenal! Super friendly staff (special shout out to my hygienist Holly who did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and made me feel comfortable and at ease). I am usually pretty embarrassed when I visit the dentist, due to all the work I have done in the past. But, Dr. Garrison and Holly did not shame me at all, only offered helpful suggestions to take better care of my teeth at home. I am coming back in a few weeks to get some work done on a tooth and I have full confidence that they have my best interests in mind when recommending treatment.

As a hygienist I’ve had experience in a lot of offices in Denver and this is the only dental office I would get work done at. Great staff great dentist & great vibes! I noticed a couple one star reviews which was shocking. After reading them, the low reviews were written by patients who’s conflicts are more related to misinformation or lack of understanding of their own insurance plans or is related to their personal emotions and preferences. Anyone, even myself, gets upset or scared when being told you have oral health diseases that need to be treated AKA a cavity. I truly believe patients not being aware of their insurance plan and not understanding how insurance claims work, cause a lot of confusion and strife that is then projected onto the dental office… which is not fair. What needs to be evaluated and reviewed is: Do they diagnose aggressively or conservatively? Does their work last or need to be replaced? Is it easy to get an appointment when needed? Is the office sanitary and a safe environment? This type of information is beneficial for people determining wether an office is a good fit; reviews based on emotion just skew the overall rating! Here is a solution to problems patients face- KNOW YOUR INSURANCE!!! People know what their out-of-pocket will be when you go to a primary care versus specialist with your regular health insurance, right? It’s nobody’s responsibility but your own. Be your own advocate people!!!! Great office definitely the BEST in Denver!!

I 100% recommend City Roots Dental for all your dental needs! The environment is warm and welcoming and same with the amazing staff. It is actually fun to go to the dentist when it is with Dr. Janda and Dr. Garrison. They are both so friendly, fun and knowledgeable.They talk you through every step and make you feel completely at ease at while there. Definitely a wonderful experience at City Roots Dental!

Super, great, awesome, superb experience! I hadn’t been to a dentist in… almost 5 years. Due to a bad previous experience at another dentist, I didn’t go again until City Roots Dental. From the moment I walked in the door I felt welcomed and comfortable. The dental hygienist, dentist, and all other employees were great. They treat you like a friend and are genuinely interested in you as a person. This helps a lot to lessen the stress a patient (such as myself) might face. Is it weird to say I can’t wait to go to the dentist again? Thanks City Roots Dental!

A good friend highly recommended City Roots. I read the reviews online, and decided to make an appointment in person. I was happily impressed, and went to my cleaning appointment. I met Dr. Janda, and scheduled a procedure with Dr. Garrison. I am dazzled by their professionalism, and attitude, from the front office, dental assistant, and doctors!!!! I immediately made an appointment for my husband in February. I would recommend City Roots to anyone interested in getting top notch painless dental care.

I am so happy I found this place. I’ve been in Denver for six years now and had bad luck with dentists…until now! Everyone at City Roots Dental seems so laid-back and friendly; it’s just a nice welcoming environment. My last dentist was obsessed with hard-selling stuff to his patients ($300 electric toothbrush, weird floss picks, and even BOTOX lol) so it was a huge relief to come here and just get what I came for – friendly, efficient, and effective dental care.

I have met several dentists in my life and Dr.G was by far the best. He personally spent more than an hour cleaning my teeth and giving me tips on how to have better oral Hygiene. My last dental appointment was 6 months ago and they told me I had no problems at all. After my appointment with Dr.G, he identified several things, including a dead tooth, that my previous dentist had overlooked. If you are looking for a fun, friendly, and super smart dentist, Dr. G and City Roots Dental should be your number one choice.

Dr. Garrison is definitely one of the coolest and funniest dentists I’ve ever come across. Often times when I go to the dentist I feel like a child being lectured and belittled because I am so terrible at flossing (though maybe I should take the hint?? :D) Dr. Garrison doesn’t do that. He give constructive feedback about what I could be doing better without coming off so harshly, and also tells me the things I’m doing well which was a new and welcome experience for me. I am a City Roots lifer now for sure. Thanks guys!

This is the best dental clinic you’ll find, in all aspects! Beautiful and clean clinic, welcoming environment, extremely friendly staff and incredible dentists. The providers are very genuine, professional and gentle. They are great at explaining what you need and why you need it. It’s obvious the entire staff is passionate about what they do and truly have fun together. You will literally have fun going to the dentist!

I’m very thankful to have found City Roots Dental – the staff is great, Dr. Jonda and Dr. Garrison are kind and caring, and I have a good time at the dentist – awesome music, lots of laughs, and an energy that’s always warm and welcoming. I thought I was doing good by going to a top-rated, 5280 magazine featured dentist. I was wrong – in fact, I was shocked at what needed attention – a crown was set wrong, my gums weren’t happy, and my bite was off. All of my issues have been addressed, my oral health is better than it’s ever been, and City Roots has a new, biggest fan. Without hesitation, I have recommended friends and family to City Roots Dental and after my most recent visit (7/1/8/2018), I’ll continue doing so.

Hands down one of the best experiences I have had at a dentist! City Roots Dental is located in a great area that is easy to get to. The office is warm and inviting and the staff could not be more friendly! Dr. Garrison is funny and has a way of putting you at ease. Dr. Janda is incredibly knowledgeable and reassuring. For someone who does not like going to the dentist, I really enjoyed my visit. I highly recommend checking them out!
