I got to say, I was so nervous about coming here. I have had really bad experiences with dentist in general the past 6 months. I got a clean out around a root canal that another dentist did and it was killing me. the hygienist, forgot her name, and dentist were both wonderful. I also had high anxiety about pain after the numbing went away. I was completely PAIN FREE! Definitely won my trust and I can not wait to begin my smile journey with dr. Welch and staff!

Great practice, Dr Shane is awesome very nice and caring, Aimee is the very best Hygienist does a very awesome job cleaning teeth explains everything super personality. My husband an I both use this practice will not go anywhere else.. We were patients of Dr Rick Rutland and are very pleased to remain at the same place. I love Dr. Welch and his staff! My dentist of 30 years had retired, and I was referred to Dr. Welch by an acquaintance of mine. I did some research and read many reviews and liked what I saw! Took the plunge and made an appt for a cleaning initially, and then scheduled an appt for a needed procedure. The hygienist was GrEaT! Very kind and thorough. The following procedure was practically painless. Dr. Welch is very gentle, kind, explains exactly what is taking place as he goes, and wants to make sure you have as near to a pain-free experience as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Welch to anyone in search of a dentist who actually has time for you. He seems very knowledgeable, and his kind, caring demeanor is a plus as well. I am recommending him to family and friends!

Front office staff was very informative on what I needed to do to prepare for my visit. I always had a fear of the dentist, however these days I’m very relaxed when I have a dental appointment. The excellent staff, my dental hygienist Aimee and of course Dr. Shane Welch are wonderful. Even though I moved away from Mobile to The Netherlands years ago, I visit Mobile at least once or twice a year and always plan a check up with this fantastic team. These people care for their patients.

All I can say is WOW! This dentist is amazing. I was having really bad tooth pain and they gave me an appointment the next day. I needed a tooth extraction and it was scheduled the next Monday. I was very nervous but Dr. Shane told me everything would be fine and it was! They did an amazing job with little to no pain after the extraction. Very glad to have found this dentist.

As always, I had a wonderful experience at coastal dental arts! Any, my hygienist is possibly the most skilled at her trade of anyone in the history of dentistry. No matter what shape my mouth is in she makes it perfect; and she does it painlessly. I have no idea how the giant, scary, metal implements of destruction she uses can be utilized so delicately….. And then Dr Shane is the coolest dentist around and always goes above and beyond. They always make me feel like part of the family. They even encouraged me to bring my 2 year old so he can get used to the dentist early on and not be afraid. They gave me pointers on taking care of his teeth and genuinely care about my family’s well being. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
