We highly recommend Dr. Barry Cohen and his staff! Our 13-year-old son has been a patient for over 3 years. Dr. Cohen always makes time to discuss our sons progress. He and his staff are helpful, patient, and are just genuinely nice. Dr. Cohen and his team really impressed us from the very beginning. When we relocated to the area 3+ years ago, our son already had braces from our previous orthodontist in Florida. We wanted to find an orthodontist that would work with the system of braces that he already had been wearing for 7 months. We had consultations with several other orthodontists, all of whom wanted to remove our son’s current braces and start completely over using their system…and of course charge a lot more money. However, Dr. Cohen’s team was happy to accommodate us. They consulted with our son’s previous orthodontist in Florida and coordinated the continued use of the braces that were already in place, all at a fair price. After our first year working with Dr. Cohen, we ended up moving 45 minutes away, however we have continued to drive to Dr. Cohen’s office because we did not want to change orthodontists! We truly appreciate Dr. Cohen and his team and highly recommend them

The BEST! Dr Barry Cohen and Dr Matt Cohen are not only highly skilled orthodontists, but they create a warm environment that makes each visit relaxed and painless. Dr Barry and Dr Matt are both extremely kind and have inviting personalities; my son and I always felt that they truly enjoyed each patient and the work they were doing. My son had a very complicated mouth with a cross bite, tongue thrust, crowded teeth, and more. The doctors were able to make his smile beautiful without keeping my son in constant pain. I felt that while they were conscious of not keeping my child in braces too long, they also were careful not to do too much at once, as that would have been uncomfortable for a young boy. They really seemed to keep his comfort as well as the end goal both in the forefront of their plans and this added to the overall feel of being truly cared about in this practice. Beyond the doctors, each staff member is not only highly trained, but warm and caring, making our visit not a chore. The office runs efficiently with no wait times and is clean and well appointed. I enjoyed getting time to drink a coffee and breathe a little while my son had his braces adjusted in the waiting room with a TV. The receptionists are always knowledgeable, friendly, and fast. I wish all my doctor visits were as efficient and painless as the visits to the Doctors Cohen! My other two children will be patients soon enough!

From the moment we walked into this office we knew it was the place for us. Dr. Cohen is an excellent orthodontist and a wonderful and kind man. I have 2 daughters with beautiful smiles and they have loved going to the office for their exams. They love to pick their colors and they have many styles for the retainers. Dr. Cohen and Dr.Matt excel at their job! Everyone that works here genuinely cares about what and how you are doing. You get to know the staff personally (and they get to know you too!) I have been going here for around 5-6 years (if I remember correctly!) and have had an amazing experience. They put in my spacers, lip bumper, t-rex, braces, and took all of them off as well. When you walk in you are hit with a vibe of empathy and kindness that stays without you through your visit! I highly recommend this orthodontist and had a 20/10 experience, I hope you do too!

Dr. Cohen and Dr. Matt and their orthodontic staff and assistants are ALL amazing! My Invisalign treatment lasted 8 months and I am so happy and thrilled with the final results of my smile and bite! What a wonderful experience! I had several teeth that had shifted significantly. I thought it was due to my grinding my teeth at night. Turns out the permanent wire retainer behind my upper front teeth had been bent due to my daily afternoon snack of an apple. Turns out an apple a day does not keep the doctor away, at least the orthodontist in my case! I started Invisalign in early April to fix my teeth. It was a seamless process. Everyone at their office is extremely kind and professional. I am pleased to report that today was my final day and I am thrilled with my now perfect teeth. I have bragged about my experience to all my friends. If you’re looking for an orthodontist, definitely go see Drs. Cohen!

Highly recommend! I’ve been in treatment with Dr. Cohen for close to 3 years now, as I started off with Invisalign by my own choice, and after a year and a half or so of not wearing them as much as I needed, Dr. Cohen and I decided it would be best to switch to regular braces. This guy!!! These people… I have 3 children, and I can’t sing enough praises for how AWESOME an experience I have had with not one, but TWO of my kids!!! Cohen Orthodontics is where your kid needs to be! He is so patient, connects with the patients and parents, kids love him. AND when the lazy teen FINALLY started listening and wearing the rubber bands, and got his braces off, our Dentist was SUPER impressed at how amazing his teeth looked! To quote her “Usually we have a lot more adhesive to polish off, and most times the removal polish makes the teeth flat, they do it too hard… My son’s teeth are PERFECT!! HIGHLY recommend Dr. Cohen 🙂 He’s great!!

I highly recommend Cohen Orthodontics to anyone looking to achieve a million dollar smile! I became a patient in 2005 after searching for an Invisalign certified providers in Atlanta. I could not be happier with my decision. Dr. Cohen (Barry) listened to my concerns and ensured I was completely satisfied. My teeth looked amazing! Years later, I returned and was pleasantly surprised that the staff remembered me and there was a new Dr. Cohen (Matt) with the same passion as his father. Their Smyrna office is welcoming, and the front desk staff and excellent assistants are friendly and helpful. I had a lower tooth that was almost completely behind another tooth and it was chipping my top tooth. I went to Cohen Orthodontics to see if I was a candidate for Invisalign braces. I have been wearing them for a little less than a year and I have my smile back!! I’m going to get my teeth whitened and finally fix that front tooth that was chipped (no dentist would fix it because they said it would just get chipped again). This morning I had an appointment at Cohen Orthodontics’ Dunwoody location that I scheduled with Christie following their temporary closure for the COVID-19 pandemic. I felt more safe and protected than I ever could have imagined. Adhering to the detailed instructions and procedures that they had previously emailed, I called from my car to announce my arrival. Before entering the office, Sonya greeted me on top of the steps, took my temperature, and had me complete and sign a couple of forms for my and their protection. Upon entering, I washed my hands with soap and water at one of the sinks. I went back to the treatment area, it was evident how immaculate all of the surfaces were, and Dr. Barry, Dr. Matt, and the rest of the team were all wearing necessary personal protective equipment. In addition, patients and other chairs were more than six-feet apart. The treatment was excellent as always with Dr. Matt and Mindy clarifying the precautions they were taking, and doing super-efficient work with the braces on my teeth. When everything was complete, Mindy escorted me to an exit that was a different door than the one from which I entered. When I returned to my car, I called the office and spoke with Robin to schedule my next appointment. Bottom line, my overall experience today was outstanding with the same warm, friendly, and professional service that I have always received at Cohen Orthodontics coupled with a clean, fresh, and well-sanitized environment.

Last year I decided to get braces. This was my 2nd go-round after having had them as a teen. So I wanted it to be as quick and easy as possible. My local dentist highly recommended Dr Cohen. He clearly explained what I could expect from my Invisalign treatment. After starting the treatment, he and his team were always kind and professional. The office is almost always busy with patients (a good sign!) but they are staffed appropriately to move everyone through quickly and efficiently. I never felt that I waited too long. Mindy or Stephanie worked with me each time alongside Dr Cohen and they all made the experience enjoyable. For anyone reading this, I recommend you visit one of his office locations for a consult.
