I loved this dentist office! Everyone was amazing, kind, and thorough. I haven’t been to a dentist in 5+ years and they made my experience so wonderful. I left questioning why I waited so long. A plus was that they were very affordable. They care more about making sure their patients get the care and service they need rather than making a quick dollar. Personable and professional! I’ll be recommending them to my family and friends!

In the past, I have always had negative feelings towards going to the dentist. I just thought it was an overall unpleasant experience. Going to College Avenue Modern Dental I was expecting to have a fine experience that did not redeem my previous thoughts about dentists. This experience was absolutely incredible. The Dental Hygienist, Jessica, was one of the most radiant and pleasant person. She took time to explain everything she is doing, why she was doing it, and made it clear that she would stay as long as she needed to in order to answer my questions and get me what I need. I LOVE the $59 new patient deal. Dr. Johnson is pleasant and calm. I appreciate the service that I got during my time at College Avenue Modern Dental!

From start to finish, this dental office was wonderful! The front desk staff were super friendly and a pleasure to work with. The hygienist was exceptional; she really took her time to thoroughly clean my teeth while explaining exactly what she was seeing and doing. To wrap up the appointment, the dentist definitely knew what he was doing and took the time to answer all my questions without judgement or any feelings of trying convince me to do more work. They also show you all your X-rays in detail as well as take before and after photos so you really get a sense of their great work. My husband and I will definitely be back!

I had an issue with the online scheduling, and it did not go through. The staff worked together to squeeze me in for most of what I’d scheduled. I really appreciated the friendly and accommodating environment, and they were so apologetic about the issue. They also worked hard to make sure I am comfortable, which was so nice even though I don’t usually associate “comfort” with the dentist at all! I’d not been to the dentist in a hot minute, and I was prepared for some shaming. They were nurturing and understanding instead. 10 outta 10 will do again. Thanks, everyone!

Modern is one word that distinguishes this clinic from the rest. State of the art equipment means the staff can do a million times better job than an ill equipped dentist trying to lure you in with a pathetic tooth whitening system. Unlike most local dentists, they have digital scanners which project large images that clearly identifies the areas of concern. They actually have dental hygienists also equipped with hydrolic instruments to get the best possible clean. Since you get an actual hygienist, they can clean under the gums instead of pretending to provide you with a real service. I’ve tried 3 other local offices where there’s no hygienist and a depressed dentist does a few minutes of resentful scrapping and calls it good after ten minutes, at College Ave you will actually get your teeth cleaned which prevents future problems which is a huge big deal.

The office itself was bright and clean. Desk staff was warm and welcoming without being invasive. They were respectful, attentive and Alicia’s preparatory work was considerate of my comfort level. The dentist, Dr. Johnson’s gentle but steady hand as he extracted my broken wisdom tooth compelled me to tell him how much I appreciated his demeanor and skill. This was indeed my best visit at any dentist and his expertise is what any one delaying a visit to the dentist would be thankful for. Mine was an emergency and I think I have found my dentist. The procedure was clearly and carefully explained and I was in charge of how I needed to proceed if, how and when I needed any other work done. No pressure! He was genuinely interested in my concerns and explained all the options available to me. Billing was reasonable and the technology was quite modern! I would highly recommend giving College Ave Modern Dental a try if you are looking for competence, expertise, a carefully chosen support staff. This is not a conglomerate of dentists. This is rather one dentist whose primary interest is you.

This was my first visit at College Avenue Modern Dentistry. The atmosphere at the office was very relaxing and welcoming. Everybody from the receptionist greeting you when you walk in the door, to the hygienist were very friendly and professional. I went to Dr Johnson to get my wisdom teeth removed. I had heard horror stories about it and was extremely nervous, but he did such an amazing job. I was completely numb and only felt a slight bitter pressure when he took them out. I followed his aftercare instructions and kind of took on a few of my own like drinking berry and peanut butter shakes (without a straw), took my prescribed pain medication(twice that day) and put ice on my face before the numbing wore off. As I am writing this, it’s only the day after and I have MAYBE 1 out of 10 pain and no need for pain meds. LOVE this Dentist!
