I visited 5 “professionals”–dentists and periodontists–in the DC area to try to get help with dental problems that worsened after a biking accident. I got “run-arounds,” and “double-talking,” a lack of clarity about the nature of the treatments proposed. There was hemming and hawing about the payments–insurance contributions and patient responsibility. I didn’t feel I was getting “straight-talk” and real guidance until talking to Deniece (Dr. Salha’s assistant, appointment secretary, etc.) and Dr. Salha himself. Dr. Salha took the time to work with me, took time to listen and carefully explain my options for treatment. His office is clean, comfortable and efficiently operated. I have begun to work with him and I am glad that I persisted in my quest to find the best.

One of my best friends recommended Dr. A. Salha and staff and like they said, the consummate professionals. From the front desk staff explaining the cost and my dental insurance responsibility, to meeting with and talking to Dr. Salha about my treatments, this is the best place for me. I went to other DDS offices and I honestly felt like I was at a used car dealership, and I don’t drive. They are professionals at Colmbia Dental. I enjoy their energy and the office location, off the Foggy Bottom corridor. I recommended Dr. Salha to a good buddy of mine and co-workers.

I haven’t been to the dentist in 5 years. I have terrible anxiety and was nervous. They were so friendly. Walked me through the process and have developed a dental care plan. They were very upfront about cost associated with my dental care and estimated costs for everything I need. Can’t wait to return and will refer folks moving forward.

From the moment I walked in until I left, it was a top-notch experience. The staff is not only professional and knowledgeable, but warm and comforting, which is an added bonus for those with dental phobias. The place was immaculate, adding yet another level of comfort and relief for me.  This place is clearly at the cutting edge of utilizing technology. I completed forms in advance, submitted online and did not even get to sit and wait, let alone the proverbial clipboard, before I was seated in the dental chair right after check-in. Dr. Salha was very personable, professional, and thorough.  All of this along with the high degree of dental excellence and calm atmosphere in this very soothing and relaxing place, in every way, ensures I will definitely be returning. I literally cannot say I have ever had a better experience. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I have been patienst at Columbia Dental for a year and I have nothing but good things to say about this place.  I have had major dental work done there (root canal and crown) and my 6 month cleanings and numerous fillings.  Dr. Salha and his staff are fabulous!  They are very professional and incredibly friendly.  I am happy I found Columbia Dental and plan to continue being a patient of Dr. Salha.

Columbia Dental is SUPERB!! I have been going to Columbia Dental for almost 9 years.  I love Dr.Salha, the dentist because he is always so personable, professional and he never trys to sell me thinngs that I do not need and I appreciate that.  It is a very quaint office with a very friendly staff..  The dental assistant, Rhonda is very friendly and you would love her personality ( Oh how I love people from the Islands).  Latitia, the receptionist is very professional and efficient.  Columbia Dental is !00% Official in my book.  It’s hard to get great and exceptional service but trust me when I tell you,  will get it at Columbia Dental.  SUPERSTARS!!!!!!
