As we have done for many years, my wife and I just left Concord Dental as happy and grateful patients.  Happy because we know we could not have received better care anywhere else.  Grateful because we know that Dr. Whitson, Susie, Heather, and all other members of the staff will ensure that we will always have that feeling in the future.  Concord Dental is a jewel!

This was my first visit to Concord Dental Group. I was extremely impressed with the entire staff. The time that was spent understanding and reviewing my current situation exceeded my expectations. The office is maintained in a very sanitary manner and all patients are safeguarded with safety precautions. Dr. Whitson took the time necessary to fully explain my treatment and detailed the explanation with the help of the 3D imaging. I highly recommend this office for all of your family dental needs.

It was one of the best dental experience I ever had. Staff and Dentist both very professional, transparent giving information, and safe settings. My entire family is now under Concord Dental Group and very happy.

I’m doing the happy dance! Found my new dentist and his name is Dr. Whitson! I went in with a dental emergency – as a new patient. These folks didn’t know me from anyone; no long standing patient relationship; no obligation to me at all. And yet, they treated me with care and consideration, getting me in as soon as possible to eliminate my severe pain. From the moment I called, I knew I’d called the right place. Heather’s smile comes right through the phone at you. From the Front Desk ladies to the Dental Assistants and Hygenists on the team, this is the happiest dental office I’ve ever visited. Thank you Heather, Laura, Jessica and Mary Ann!! At Concord Dental, everyone smiles, looks you in the face, treats you with care. That puts you right at ease from the moment you walk in the door. Oh…and I only spent about 6 or 7 minutes in the waiting room – another FIRST for any dentist I’ve ever seen – so I didn’t even have to wait long enough for my usual dentist-related anxiety to pop up on me. Now I don’t know about you, but I do NOT like those shots and I was petrified, especially given the pain I had been in for the past couple of days during the holiday. I am, in fact, terrified of needles, but I barely felt Dr. Whitson’s “stick” and I was numb in no time. (whew!) He fixed my pain, fixed my tooth (really well) and had me out the door in about 35 minutes. Dr. Whitson seems pretty precise to, because there wasn’t a lot of “post-fill drilling” like most dentists. He just did it right from the beginning! Not only was Dr. Whitson attentive, gentle and careful, he proved to be very conservative in his treatment plan. He didn’t go for the easy “gouge” but instead went for the best treatment for me in the moment. For which I’m very grateful – and astonished, as most dentists don’t take that “high” road. To top it off, they offered me several ways to even SAVE money in my payment options with them – very patient centered thinking!

Dr. Whitson and his team are the best! He has treated four generations of our family. We appreciate that everyone there knows us. They are skilled, compassionate and caring. If there is an emergency, they will do their best to accomodate you quickly. I just finished my Invisalign treatment and am very pleased with the results. Highly recommend!

I have been with this practice since the very beginning, Dr. Whitson checks all my boxes for a family dentist. He has given me two implants that function so well I cant tell you which ones are implants and which are my real teeth! His staff is friendly and efficient. I have not had a cavity since going there. I would (and have) recommended him to my family and friends.

Would absolutely recommend Concord Dental Group. Just switched my daughter (who has special needs) here. Myself, husband and teenage son are already patients. Big shout out to Janice (hygienist) who could not have been more patient, kind and professional. Dr. Whitson ALWAYS goes above and beyond. The office is clean, very accessible and the front line staff are always courteous and considerate.

As the daughter of two retired dentists, I’m picky. Janice is an amazing hygienist. She is gentle and kind. Dr. Whitson has always been kind and patient. I have been coming to the office for about 10 years now and have been impressed with them every time. They are always up to date with the latest technology and genuinely care for their patients.

In the Concord Dental waiting room TV, instead of annoying commercials, on the screen they show this quote: “The smallest distance between two people is a smile.” All of the staff here are so caring, thorough, and professional. I feel safe coming here even during a pandemic because everyone does their job so meticulously and hygienic.

My wife and three sons have been patients of Dr. Whitson and Concord Dental for over ten years. Of the many healthcare professionals we see none compare to Dr. Whitson and his team and their excellent patient care. They are organized, knowledgeable, courteous and continually go above and beyond in patient care. Some years ago my oldest son woke with severe pain in his mouth on a Sunday morning. We called Dr. Whitson and he insisted on seeing us that same day in his office and was able to get my son immediate relief. How many healthcare professionals would have ever done that? There is a true feeling of family with Dr. Whitson and his staff of Heather, Mary Ann, Suzie and so many more there. They have watched our family grow up and ask often about them. If you are looking for the consummate professionals in dental care in a warm, caring setting I would absolutely recommend Dr. Whitson and this Concord Dental team.

I tried out several dentists when I moved to STL. Every single one seemed like all they wanted to do was “sell” me on unnecessary work. Finally, I was at my wits end. It was really bad when I had a dental emergency and I felt like I had nowhere to go. I talked to some family friends and they referred me to Dr. Whitson. Life changing! Everyone in this office genuinely cares about you and your well-being. They have a patient for life!

I have had numerous, long and difficult procedures in my past and most recently come back to the St. Louis area and been with Dr Whitson and I can’t express my gratitude and appreciation for the services, incredible care and satisfaction of his work along his team. There is no better dental office anywhere! There is first class work and treatment by everyone on this team!

Unlike other reviews, I have been going to Concord Dental Group for over 20 years. I am not a fan of dentist, but consider them a necessary evil. Dr. Whitson and his staff have always made me comfortable, and reassured that I am in good hands. Lots of procedures have been done during my visits. They were done right and have lasted. I have not had to have anything redone! Heather always calls to say hi and remind me of my appointments. Melissa greets me and puts me at ease. Susie and Michelle are the best hygentists. They are patient, careful and thorough. Laura is efficient in getting my next appointments scheduled. The entire staff is friendly and caring. Dr. Whitson is very professional and does wonderful work. He is compassionate and has gotten me in quickly whenever I have had a dental emergency. He is a very talented dentist and works to do whatever needs to be done in a timely manner. They also will work with you to find a payment solution when necessary. For the rest of you out there, who also consider dentist a necessary evil, this is your place. They make going to the dentist easier, which makes me a whole lot easier to live with. So my family thanks Dr. Whitson and his staff too.

I had a phenomenal experience from the moment that I walked in. Janice was so patient with me and explained things so well. Heather was so kind and accommodating with appointments. Dr. Whitson has fantastic bedside manner and took his time with my evaluation and treatment plan. I did not feel pressured into any additional treatment. I would recommend this practice to anyone. (especially with anyone that has anxiety with dentists). You will feel like family not a patient

I have been a client of Dr. Whitson’s for many years. He always strives for perfection with his work. I have recommended him many times to friends and they too sing his praises….even those who may not have seen a dentist in awhile. His office staff is friendly and efficient. They are timely with appointments and do their best to ensure patient comfort. My hygienist, Lisa is wonderful. She is pleasant, honest and does great work. My family is moving outside of St. Louis, but I intend to continue with Concord. They are worth the trip.

We love Concord Dental, the whole team is amazing. Warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable and experienced! They treat everyone like family, take such great care of all of us, and truly enjoy what they do. It is an awesome experience here, each and every visit. We drive about a half hour one way, just to see everyone here. I cannot say enough great things about this group. Call for your appointment today!

I am very happy with both the care I receive and the staff at the Concord Dental office. I appreciate and respect the process used to maintain impeccable cleanliness of the facility, always, and particularly in view of current events. In my lifetime I have been in many dental offices and can say that this staff stand out both in meticulous care and genuine interest in my well being.

Dr. Whitson and staff are top notch! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I take my 3 yo daughter and she is actually excited to go….that tells you something! Dr. Whitson is very knowledgeable and truly had a patient first mentality. Office is super clean and up to date technology to provide best care possible. Would highly recommend to anybody that needs any dental work done.

This is the best dentist office ever!  Everyone there is so friendly and personable AND they do amazing work!  They solved a dental problem I’ve had for years for which multiple other dentists failed to find a solution.  They also did an amazing job with my daughter’s implant.  It was a long process and they were very caring throughout the whole thing.  And her implant blends in really well with her other teeth.  This office makes me want to smile.

This office is fabulous! Visits here are like coming to see old friends. I had a scheduled cleaning during the shelter-in-place and was called to see if I was comfortable keeping the appointment. Of course, I was. I was greeted and met at the door, had my temperature taken in the empty waiting room, and then was escorted to my exam room. My cleaning appointment went routinely. I felt safe, comfortable, and was only exposed to the hygienist and Dr. Whitney. Both wore masks.

There are just not enough words to describe how incredibly grateful I am to Dr. Whitson and his amazing team. I have a debilitating fear of the dentist that is completely irrational yet it kept me from going for longer than I would like to admit (years and years) based on childhood dental experiences. A colleague recommended him and I am eternally grateful. I had shared that I was nervous (ok terrified) of going when I made my appointment. They were incredibly supportive and non judgmental. From the moment I walked in the door they made sure I was comfortable. Every single step of every process they talked me through and made sure I was ok. The entire staff went ABOVE and BEYOND my entire visit, they didn’t rush through any process at all and explained everything along the way. I left with a smile and able to happily schedule my next appointment. I’ve found my dentist for life!

Everything!!!! Everything you could ever hope to have for the best dental care of your life!!! How do I know this??? I have been a Hygienist in this Practice since 1976 so I have a pretty good grasp of what I see clinically as good dentistry. Ours has always been something I am proud to be a part of. But more importantly I think is l have had just about every dental procedure possible in my office by Dr Whitson and our awesome team in the almost 20 years he has been here. I cannot say enough about the care,compassion and ability of this Dental Practice from a PATIENT perspective. Dr Whitson is an excellent Dentist and Surgeon BUT part of the reason he can do this is he has an awesome team to support him. If you need Dental care in this scary world of “ who can you trust and who provides good care” — you just found it. Susie T
