I have had universally good experiences with Dr. Barsa and his amazing staff. I have always had a hard time going to dentists, but This office is super friendly, and Dr. Barsa really takes time to make sure patients are comfortable, they understand what should be/is being done and that his work is perfect. They have really impressive measures in place for cleanliness/sterilization, so I felt relieved since I was going during Covid. I highly recommend Confident Smiles!!

Dr. Barsa is one of the best dentists I’ve ever had. I came in with a cracked tooth and filling. He took a sincere interest in saving my teeth and keeping them healthy. The two new fillings and a crown were done right away and are perfect. I especially appreciated knowing the pricing upfront. The staff was very professional helped me understand my insurance. The facilities are gleaming and up-to-date, and their procedures are well thought-out and effective, with special considerations for Covid-19. This is a first rate practice!

Belmont & California dental has changed its name to “Confident Smiles”. This name do honor the professional services given by Dr. Barsa and his staff. Dr. Barsa like not many dentists guide you through, and explains carefully every step he takes while doing dental works on you. He takes his time to learn carefully your dental insurance policies and discusses them with you. The quality of his work is highly commendable. His outgoing personality adds up to make a visit to his office a wonderful experience. Thanks Dr. Barsa and staff, you are doing a great job

Dr Basra is a great dentist. He is very professional and honest. Not only does he explain to you everything he does along the way, he makes sure the procedure is painless. He loves what he does and it shows in his work. Love that they use a text reminder system as well. I came to him when I didn’t have insurance and his prices are very competitive and fair. Now that I have insurance, I will continue coming here because he treats you like family.

Dr. Barsa and his staff are wonderful. I’ve always had trouble getting dental work done in the past, but with Dr. Barsa it’s much more comfortable. I had an issue that forced me to find a dentist (long overdue) in October of last year. I arrived and was relieved with the Covid precautions they employ. The front desk staff and assistants are kind and upbeat. The office is clean and comfortable. Dr. Barsa is enthusiastic and explains everything clearly and concisely, and really wants his patients to be well informed. They created a treatment plan and my issues were resolved within a few weeks. I had to come in again recently and was reminded at how good the whole staff is at their jobs. The visits are thorough without being excessively time consuming. I fully plan on sticking with Confident Smiles and would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking a dentist.

Dental work is usually not very pleasant, but Dr Barsa does make you feel welcome, informs you of everything he is doing and why, and most of all comfortable. I had to get a couple fillings, which he took his time and made sure I was not in any pain. In the end it was a thorough and excellent job done. He was also very fair with the costs that insurance did not cover, which i really appreciated since I live on a very tight budget. I really don’t have any complaints so I can’t help but give them five stars!

When you need to go to the dentist this is the place to go. Dr. Barsa and his staff are friendly and welcoming making Confident Smiles my go to dental office. While getting major dental work done is not fun, getting to pick what you want to watch on Netflix or listen to on Pandora makes the appointment more relaxing. Dr. Barsa is clearly very skilled and knowledgeable. I received perfect crowns and root canals. He talks with you about your treatment plan every step of the way so you understand what he’ll be doing and why. He is accepting and nonjudgemental. I give Confident Smiles and Dr. Bards five stars for outstanding care, service, and providing a welcoming atmosphere.

I went to see Dr. Barsa on a referral from my girlfriend. Normally I am quite nervous to go see the dentist especially with the fact that I had an impacted wisdom tooth that was decaying rapidly. Dr. Barsa took extreme care of me and the whole experience of going into his office was stunning. He is the definition of white glove service. He actually cares about you and that is the quality that made me like him the most! His whole team is extremely professional and courteous. They make sure you are well taken care of just as Dr. Barsa does. I didn’t have insurance so Dr. Barsa has his own dental plan that I highly recommend for anyone who doesn’t have insurance. Prices are very very competitive. He did an amazing job on what was a difficult extraction. Thanks again Confident Smiles! I will be using you all as long as I live in Chicago.

I’d to start off by saying I’m pretty much terrified of the dentist. But Dr. Barsa  is amazing. I came in to his office a few weeks ago and found out I needed a root canal and was not looking forward to it. When I came in for the root canal I was more than terrified, I actually had a little anxiety attack right before. Dr. Barsa was so kind and understanding. First he helped me breath and calm down and then he gave me a cool damp towel for my head, turned the lights off in the room and just let me relax for a little bit before we started. The root canal went really well and it really was not as terrifying as I had imagined it would be. Not that I ever wanna do that again! But if I ever do I’ll definitely trust Dr. Barsa to take care of it for me! He is an awesome dentist and I’m so happy I found him!

I recently became a patient of Dr. Barsa and my experience every time I go has been wonderful. He is a very knowledgable and kind Doctor. I love how the office is very diverse from the assistants to the receptionists they all speak different languages. When I made my appointment I had a few problems with my dental insurance but the ladies at the front desk were so kind enough to contact my insurance and help me. They are very efficient as well as kind enough to give me a variety of options for appointments since my work schedule always changes. I love the fact that while patients wait in the waiting room the receptionists offer you water or coffee as well as allowing us to change the channel. The office from the outside may not look as modern as the others but don’t let that fool you. The inside of the office is very modern and even up to date. Dr. Barsa let me know that he uses the latest technology when it comes to taking x-rays. Towards the end of my new patient exam I absolutely loved how the two receptionist came into the room and explained my treatment plan from the payments to how the procedures would be done. I will definitely continue coming here as well recommend my friends and family to be seen by Dr. Barsa.

Dr. Barsa and Dr. Carla are very professional and down to earth people. I am very satisfied with the services I was given by both doctors on separate occasions. Their dental assistants Lea, Martha and Fabiola are very skilled and experienced and very friendly to their patients. Lea is my favorite one, very calm, sincere and attentive to the patients’ needs and does her service with a smile. She is the “one of a kind” assistant there. The front desks ladies are okay but really needs improvement with their customer service. They speak and chat in their language and never heard them nor see them get up on their chair to even just do a small talk to their patients at the lobby. I understand their language too. The big lady there is very unfriendly. I have been their patient for years now. Their office manager before was awesome, she called to confirm your appointment and called if the doctor was not available to see you for your appointment and she knows how to speak professionally on the phone. There is a great improvement on the patients wait time now!!! Before Dr. Barsa’s time it was too looongggg of a wait. From 30 minutes to an hour and more. It was unbelievable and irritating. No kidding! That is why I decided to go to a different dental clinic. And then last year I had to go for an emergency root canal and went to see Dr. Carla again. And then met Dr. Barsa who is the new owner of this clinic. I saw good people in there so now I am back to their care. Kudos to the doctors and their awesome assistants!

Dr Barsa is incredibly friendly and helpful. And giving. He goes out of his way to make you not just comfortable but happy. He is often doing more and going above and beyond because he wants you to be healthy and love your smile. I have always hidden my smile and after my last visit, for something unrelated to the work I need done, I left wanting to show my smile off for the first time in decades because of his kindness. He and his staff are truly good souls. And skilled as any you will find in their field.

Been going to Dr Barsa for three years now. He is an excellent doctor with a great personality—and his STAFF also reflects his generous attitude toward life and the care of others. His staff is professional but warm-hearted. He is an artist and a perfectionist and will never cut corners, yet, looks out for each person on an individual basis and does not make recommendations if they are not necessary. This guy is not out to make the almighty buck—he actually loves what he does. He is a family-man who understands the need to care for our teeth to be healthy in all aspects of tooth care. Bottom-line. I highly recommend him because he cares.

I moved into the Avondale/Logan Square area last year and after reading several great reviews decided to try out Confident Smiles. The entire staff is very friendly, and the hours are flexible. I have a pretty crazy, ever-changing schedule so I have had to reschedule appointments many times and they have always been accommodating. Dr. Barsa has a professional bedside manner, but also a good sense of humour. He will walk you through everything to make sure you understand, and will give you the option to choose which procedures you want to move forward with if he thinks they are not immediately necessary. I have had several cavities filled with no pain whatsoever. Dr. Barsa and the rest of the staff do everything they can to make sure you are comfortable.

Dr. George B. is a complete professional and expert at doing his job. He demonstrates incredible accuracy and precision in his work and goes through every step by explaining the pros, cons and future consequences to the patient. I personally had to get one of my teeth extracted and his friendly and cooperative environment really made me forget about all worries. The technology used is also very advanced as he was able to spot all the issues through an HD x-ray image within minutes. Most importantly, Dr. George is very understanding in terms of the patient’s budget. Acknowledging the fact that I had no health insurance, and that I am a minor, he made a significant cut on the prices. Overall, a very positive experience for me 🙂

I definitely recommend Confident Smiles! It is now one of my family dental homes. Dr. Barsa always makes me feel comfortable and calm. I was worried of getting two cavities filled, but he made me feel comfortable! My fillings were done amazing and look natural. I had the tooth colored fillings. I did not feel any sort of sensitivity after. He truly cares about his patients by explaining, in depth, the dental treatment he recommends. He prioritizes which dental treatment should be completed first in order to avoid severe dental treatment in the future. It is rare to come across dentists who truly care for their patients!
