Dr. Shukoor and his staff are amazing, nice, fun and energetic. The care and service was flawless, Dr. Shukoor is quite the comedian, had to resist laughing through the cleaning and checking. I recommend anyone to come her for dental care, you will Feel At Home.

As a diabetic, I have suffered with dental issues for over 15 years. 2 years ago I discovered DR Shukoor and he did extensive work to improve my situation. I am so impressed with his approach and skill. I had a couple of extractions and they were basically effortless and painless due to the Dr’s master work. The office is modern and cool and you feel a part of the family. Joanna is kind and always willing to answer any question. Best dental office and experience in Washington DC

I have been a patient of Dr. Shukoor for almost a year now and I’m more than satisfied with the results of his work. I have been seeing Dr. Shukoor for invisible braces but due to the gaps in my teeth, he also recommended me to get a bone graft and implants for the best results. For someone who has never had any kind of surgical procedure, I was a bit anxious but  Dr. Shukoor and his staff made me feel comfortable by explaining the procedure in full detail and playing nice music so I would feel relaxed. Post-surgery I was surprised that I did not feel any pain and was able to go to work the very next day. I have never been to a dentist’s office that has made me feel so welcomed and comfortable like this one. I will be using this practice for all of my dentistry needs because they are truly the best in the city!

I could have not been happier with my decision to switch my dentist, what an amazing office, professional friendly staff, and I can not say enough about the dentist himself. He was kind, gentle, and took time to explain every little thing to me and pointed them out on the Xray, not only I received an A class treatment but I learned a lot too!

When I moved to DC from SF in 2016, I continued to see my general dentist in SF, quarterly, when I returned on work trips. I had braces 2014 – 2016, but was unhappy with the shape of some of the teeth once they came off. Fast forward to 2018 and I still hate the shape of my teeth and need a dose or two of bleach. Enter CACD & Dr. Shukoor. I wrongly identified the problem, he correctly identified the real problem…two minutes later my teeth look great and I’m happy I went through the aggravation of adult braces. Even better, I walked out with a freshly cleaned and brightened smile. Dr. Shukoor is passionate about teeth. He is friendly and genuinely wants to see you feel good about your smile. Cosmetic dentistry requires an eye for balance and detail, which he has – I was at a loss as to where to turn, so glad I gave him a shot. No more west coast teeth cleanings! Convenient, quiet location with plenty of parking. Clean, sparkly white new office.

I received implant procedure from Dr. Shukoor last week. Due to my high dental anxiety, he prescribed me with effective medications with right dosage. He also did an incredible job with extraction and placed the dental implant so smoothly. The implanted area looks so clean. Post surgery pain was absolutely minimum. I highly recommended Dr. Shukoor not only because of his high skills and knowledge, but also because of his openness to understand individual’s unique needs. For Patients with dental anxiety problems, this place is definitely worth your visit.

I cannot recommend Dr. Shukoor and the team at CACD enough. After moving to DC 5 years ago I had not found a dentist I felt comfortable with or confident in. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, I needed an emergency root canal and Dr. Shukoor saw me right away that Monday when I returned fitting me in as a new patient. He was incredibly friendly, funny and made the very painful experience feel easy and I felt immediate relief. Since then I have returned for follow up visits for my crown and everything has been handled meticulously and again, I cannot reiterate enough how much the staff makes going to the dentist feel less like a chore. I feel so lucky to have Dr. Shukoor as my dentist and highly recommend him!

It is not possible for me to recommend Dr. Shukoor, and everyone at Connecticut Ave Cosmetic Dentistry enough. I broke my front tooth as a kid, had it fixed back then and didn’t give it much thought until nearly twenty years later (two weeks ago) when it fell out of my mouth three hours before I was supposed to be at an event. Luckily, the office was open that Saturday and they were able to squeeze me in just in the nick of time so I didn’t look like a pirate for my event that night! After a temporary fix, I came back so Dr. Shukoor could do a crown on the tooth. It’s perfect! It is absolutely flawless, and matches perfectly. He even did a bit of smoothing on my other teeth so that it looks incredibly natural! Dr. Shukoor is amazing, but so is the rest of the staff. They are so friendly and welcoming. Not only that, but they worked with me and my insurance/billing situation so that I could get the care I needed quickly, and in time for my upcoming wedding. They are definitely 5 stars, and then some!

Wasn’t expecting such a comfortable setting, great office and even better people. In my life I’ve been to many dental appointments and procedures where I had to be numbed, etc. Dr. Kambez Shukoor showed finesse and professionalism right from the beginning. Never have I been so comforted while in the dentist chair. I’m trusting this office for my dental implants and can’t wait to show everyone my new smile. Forever greatful for CACD! Thank you!
