I’ve been coming to Lochwood Family Dental for about 5 years. After a horrible experience at my previous dentist’s office, they were able to fix my issues and continue to give great care. Dr. Nguyen has wonderful bedside manner and really listens to your concerns, even if they are trivial. Kristen at the front desk is awesome and always on top of things. I don’t always understand insurance and financial stuff, but she walks me through the process and patiently explains everything. The rest of the staff is also very great and professional, while caring for you like family. I am terrified of the dentist. I’m not kidding. I havent been in 14 years – this is a seriously deep seeded fear. However Dr Nguyen was really sweet. She took her time, made sure I was comfortable. She was very gentle and made me comfortable. The check up wasn’t all bad – after 14 yrs I only have one tiny cavity that is just starting up. We’ll see how that goes – not going to lie and tell you I’m not scared but I think I can handle it. The office staff is really nice too -very comforting. I have been taking my kids there since they were able to go to the dentist. Kristen is always happy and helpful! Dr. Nguyen is always patient and treats my kids delicately. My son had a procedure done at a different facility and he got to the point were he wouldn’t let me brush his teeth, so I got scared that he might’ve been traumatized but as soon as he saw where we were he started running towards the door happy to go inside. By far this is the best care my kids and I personally have gotten and I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else!!

This was probably the best dental visit I have ever had. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dentist was super knowledgeable, personable and informative. They took all the x-rays and a bunch of pictures of my teeth to show me what they were talking about rather than just talking about it. A WORD FROM YOUR DOCTOR

Dr. Nguyen was born in Dallas, Texas, where she grew up with an appreciation for close-knit communities, generous hospitality, and good food. She attended The Hockaday School for fourteen years, where her love for the arts and sciences was cultivated. Outside of school, classical piano, photography, traveling, volunteer work, and working at her parents' dental offices consumed most of her time. She moved to Los Angeles in the summer of 2007 to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience with pre-dental focus at the University of Southern California. Her brother, Dr. Jeff Nguyen, graduated from the USC School of Dentistry the same year. It was without hesitation that she would continue her graduate education at USC and receive the Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. No other career could combine her enthusiasm for the arts, health sciences, community service, and family so seamlessly. She has participated in numerous global missions, providing free dental work to under-served communities in areas such as Los Angeles's Skid Row, Ensenada, Mexico, and Manila, Philippines. Dr. Jennifer's goals are to carry on her family's legacy in the field of dentistry and to teach her patients how to achieve a balanced, healthy lifestyle.
