Core Smiles is amazing! Feels like a secret dentistry gem hiding in Chelsea, I just wish I had found it sooner. They did such a thorough cleaning and Zoom whitening, I felt like I was in the best hands. So attentive. Special shoutout to assistant manager Meg for playing the best music and making the office such a friendly place to spend a morning!

Dr Cordoves and Dr Gulizio are such a great doctors and nice people as well as the rest of the staff. Every one is really professional, they taking care of you since the moment you walk in the door. I recommend this dentistry to anyone looking for amazing Dentist, Fair prices and Satisfaction with your results, Plus the clinic its really cool looking. I have been with Dr Cordoves for years and I couldn’t be happier to have found him.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record ( see my other reviews), I’ll just sum up and say that these guys are (still) the best, as far as I’m concerned…my mouth has been a minefield full of every possible dental issue, and I’m grateful I found doctors who are up to the task of walking through it with top-notch technical skills, and expert knowledge. You can trust them to do everything that needs to be done gently, yet efficiently. After years of questionable dental care, I finally feel I am in good hands that I can completely trust.  Kris, the office manager is an added bonus !

Dr. Guilizio, Dr. Cordoves, hygienist Kellie Kennedy, and the entire staff are not only consummate professionals, but use some of the most advanced dental techniques in the field. They’re also very nice people, making you feel comfortable and at ease during every procedure. I can’t stand going to the dentist, and avoided it for years, but once I entered their office, my fears suddenly disappeared. Now I look forward to my checkup, cleaning, or any dental procedure for that matter, knowing that I have one of the best dental teams in New York, caring as much for my anxiety as well as for my teeth. I can’t recommend them enough.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Core Smiles team.  From the time that you walk in until you leave, you are treated like royalty.   Everyone was super-friendly and super-professional.  No BS here!   This is a high class office with a high class staff–and don’t doubt for a second that you won’t be getting high class treatment.  Kelly, the hygeinist (sp?) was thorough and gentle (finally found someone to clean my teeth without wincing in pain!) and Christy the office manager totally won me over by letting me know what my insurance coverage would be.

Referred by a whip-smart colleague, whose advice is always valued, I recently went to Dr. Cordoves for a cleaning, x-rays, and an exam. I was pleasantly struck by his offices, which are–at least in the septic world of oral practitioners–rather unusual, but in a great way (clean, sleek, bright, etc.). His staff was pleasant, welcoming, and very apparently on-the-ball. Dr. Cordoves is clearly good at what he does, and with the help of his state-of-the-art equipment, most of which I had never seen before, I was out and back at my office with incredibly clean teeth in less time than I had ever imagined. All in all, an excellent experience. I will recommend Dr. Cordoves to all of my friends and co-workers.

I love this place especially Doctor Steve and Kelly. I am the worst patient a doctor can have: obnoxious with always a lot of questions. I know what I want and look for the best. Only with Steve I can feel at ease and I completely trust his professionalism. He is the most gental dentist and knows his profession. He also will make your teeth looking absolute gorgeous. Kelly does the best cleaning in NYC. They also have a very super modern state of the art equipment. All around it’s the best dental experience

Great space, energy, staff, owners and vibe. I had the opportunity to experience Core Smiles for the first time this past week. Michael Galizio is amazing! What I learned about my mouth and teeth in one visit was more than I had learned my whole life. I then went on to add veneers to my smile. I’m more than satisfied and highly recommend! Ray D

Like most people, I HATE THE DENTIST. I have in fact had several different ones here in the city, but have to say that Dr. Cordoves is fantastic. He is professional, kind, caring, and very aware of his patients. His technology in the office is extremely modern and you truly feel like you are getting the best care in the world. In addition, he does all of the cleanings himself, which I really think makes a big difference.

I was referred to Dr. Cordoves by my orthodonist. From the start he was very welcoming. He is not your typical dentist, he seems more like a friend. First off, he never makes you wait. Is this not insane? What dentist can you go to without having the minimum 30 minute delay? I believe the longest I’ve had to wait in his office was 5 minutes! What I also liked about him was that he always told me what he was going to do before he did it. He walked me through every step of the procedure so that I didn’t have to wonder what he was doing. Dr. Cordoves is also a perfectionist, which is definitely a good trait to possess as a dentist. He will work away at your teeth until the both of you are satisfied. I also had my teeth whitened with Zoom at his office which was easy and painless. I get compliments on how white my teeth are all the time! The office is such a cool space. Recently renovated, it feels like a very hip dental spa. The state-of-the-art dental chairs are so very comfortable that it would be easy to fall asleep, I would like one for my home. Dr. Cordoves has also installed flat screen tvs on the walls so that you can see what he sees on his computer. Everything in his office is new and modern and very clean! Dr. Cordoves is a gem of a dentist in Manhattan. I actually enjoy going in for my appointments because he is always so upbeat and funny, plus he does amazing work! Oh, and his staff is wonderful too!!!
