Dr Logan and his staff provide top-flight dental care. I have been going to him for 6 years. They have a level of commitment to providing excellent care and service that I have not experienced elsewhere. They have a computer system into which they input data at every visit that tracks the health of each tooth and surrounding gum, so they will know if a problem develops over time. Dr. Logan has had the same office manager the entire time I have been going there, Joey, and he handles the front office as professionally as Dr. Logan and his dental staff handle the dental side. Just yesterday I had what I thought was a filling that had fallen out (turns out it was a chipped tooth), and Dr. Logan was able to fit me in today to take a look at it. To counter a review I saw on yellowpages.com, Dr. Logan has never taken a “drill baby drill” approach in my experience. For example, today he saw 2 pits on my teeth that he thought could turn into cavities and checked my x-rays to make sure they had not penetrated the enamel (which would have required a filling). Once he was sure they had not, he just prescribed fluoride toothpaste in hopes that they would resolve without intervention. To me, that is what you want in a dentist – someone who will use the advanced technology at his disposal to make the best decision for your health based on facts, not his own bottom line. If you want a mediocre dentist, go somewhere else. If you want your teeth to last your whole life, go to Dr. Logan! 5 stars!

I searched for a new dentist after I switched to a new insurance policy, my old insurance was very limited on options. I looked through the Outsmart, as I wanted to feel comfortable, but I had great luck with the doctor that I had found. I called two dentist offices, but wanted to go to one, because of hours and recommendations, but they were not in-network with my new plan. So, by what I saw in the Outsmart and recommendation of that office, I called Dr. Logan’s office. My call to Dr. Logan’s office was very pleasant, Joey, the office manager was super friendly and really involved. He didn’t seem in a rush, he was willing to get my records, contact my doctor, and my insurance company, to give me a quote for what it would cost. I knew that I needed a new patient visit (x-rays, cleaning, and to get a filling redone). My first visit, I realized that I was already familiar with the area (it’s in the same strip mall as Guava Lamp. I had an early morning appointment, and arrived at the same time as Dr. Logan and Joey, they were very friendly, welcomed me in. I filled out my paperwork in the comfortable waiting room, where I was offered a water. Joey chatted with me, like an old friend. Ana was my hygienist, and was super friendly. I had my x-rays done with all of the modern technology. They checked me for oral cancer, and gave me a very in-depth exam. The cleaning was pretty gentle, she was friendly and talked with me. I already knew that I needed a filling, but Dr. Logan told me that I needed a crown, instead. He made me feel okay about it, though, even though I knew it would be expensive. Leaving, Joey was great! He even had my work’s school calendar in my file to help schedule my future appointments. Second appointment, Dr. Logan was able to do a filling instead of the crown. He was so gentle, that I could have taken a nap! The only thing that kept me awake was the drilling, as I didn’t even have to hold my own mouth open (they had a device that did it for me). They told me that next time I can use headphones and actually take a nap. I have never felt more comfortable at a dentist! I didn’t even know that was possible! Let alone, they really care about your health and take their time to do things right!
