Ended up here on a Friday with a dental emergency when I was in B’ham on business. They saw me immediately, assessed my problem, determined I needed on endodontist and got me an emergency appointment within 2 hours, sending me on my way with xrays and notes. They were lifesavers. Try finding a dentist on a Friday afternoon… that will tell you how wonderful they were.

Dr. Cosgrove is amazing! If he has to refer you to another doctor, he follows up and makes sure you’re taken care of. He is very careful not to hurt you if he is working on an issue in your mouth. He lets you know exactly what he is doing at all times and just so different than most dentists. I cant say enough about him. He is a rare find.

Wonderful, pleasant experience! If I could give 6 stars, I would. Dr. Cosgrove was highly recommended to me and now I know why. He took time to explain the procedure to me and the overall experience from when I walked in the door to when I left, was excellent. I will be returning to Dr. Cosgrove and am so happy with the work he has done. Keep up the great work Dr. Cosgrove! I will be recommending your office to my friends and family!

I’ve lived in 6 different cities and 4 different states, and this is probably the best dentist I have ever been to. Extremely talented, knowledgeable and so nice! At times, medical professionals can come off a bit stuffy and sometimes condescending, but Cosgrove is the complete opposite. His personality is one of the reasons I will always be a patient. My husband raves about him as well! Awesome practice! Thank you so much for always helping in a time of need.

Dr. Cosgrove has been my dentist since the late 90’s. He has, without fail, provided quailty and timely service. Dr. Cosgrove is a true professional who takes pride in doing every job correctly. This is continually evidenced by the countless times I have been asked, “who is your dentist, and does he see new patients?”

I very highly recommend Dr. Cosgrove. I have never liked a single dentist I have every been to until I went to him. My teeth are in very poor condition, and every time I go to a new dentist, I get chastised for the condition they are in and for not coming in sooner, but with him, I was not. I was actually made feel better that I chose to come in and have some work done, rather than made feel horrible for not going in sooner. I’ve very rarely been to the same dentist twice in a row, because of the way that they have all made me feel, and I willingly went in to Dr. Cosgrove’s office two days in a row, and I have another appointment next week. He and his tech’s amazing!

Normally I don’t ever leave Yelp reviews. However Dr. Cosgrove and his staff surprised me and deserve a 5 star review. I have had the same dentist for all 23 years of my life. However he retired and I moved to Birmingham. I was putting off looking for a new dentist because they are often hard to trust and I feel try to do more work then needed. But, I needed a dentist ASAP because by I cracked my front tooth! I called the next morning and they were able to get me in same day. I was in and out quick, he gave me a great consult and did not overcharge -even undercharged- he also did not do more work to my tooth than necessary. My tooth looks great and I scheduled a future appointment for cleaning! I’m glad I found a new dentist and will recommend to anyone who asks!

Short story: one of my best dental experiences ever. Being new to the area, I didn’t have many personal recommendations, so I went on yelp, Google and my insurance website. I found another dentist and got a lot of work done on my teeth. Since I don’t have a dental degree, I generally trust what dentists tell me I should do. I ended up in Dr. Cosgrove’s office after all this work and immediately wished I had started here. The staff was kind and went out of their way to explain my insurance coverage and costs before I visited. Dr. Cosgrove took the time to explain the risks and benefits of the treatment he suggested. He did most if not all of the work himself, undercharged me for work he performed, and conversed in a very down to earth way with everyone he interacted with. I think I will switch to his practice: I was very impressed.
