I wrote a review for Dr Pandich before – not sure where it went, but I’ll do it again. She is really a fantastic dentist – extremely competent, sensitive to her patient’s needs and makes herself available for appointments, even with our crazy schedules here in the city! In addition to helping me with some pretty horrible cavities, Dr Pandich also correctly diagnosed and helped to treat an unknown jaw-clenching issue I was having (that was leading to terrible headaches). Excellent all around – highly recommend her!

Dr. Pandich is an amazingly skilled and extraordinarily gentle dentist. While I know that for many people a visit to the dentist, even for a cleaning, can create terrible anxiety. I have never felt that kind of anxiety, whether it is for something serious she needs to take care or or a routine cleaning. I highly, highly recommend her.

So, there is a story behind my review….. 30 years ago I was an eight year old daredevil kid who wanted to show off his jumping abilities. I decided I was going to jump over the two foot high azalea bushes in front of my neighbor’s house. To say the least, I was no Carl Lewis. I did not clear the bush and landed face first on a slate slab which was sticking up. I ended up losing half of my front tooth. At the time, after several trips to the dentist and using antiquated technologies, they were able to bond my tooth. I actually remember throwing up on the car ride home from the sleeping gas they gave me. Fast forward 30 years…. I’m currently out of work (doesn’t this recession suck!) and going on job interviews. A few mornings ago, I bit into a harmless cereal bar and instantly felt a weird sensation. I ran to the bathroom mirror and quickly discovered that I now looked like Mike Tyson after he was knocked out by Buster Douglas in the early 90’s. I began to freak out because I had job interview lined up and this was no way to present myself. Luckily, I remembered my friend telling me about Jessica and the practice she has in NYC. I called Jessica and gave her my insurance over the phone. To be honest I did not feel like spending the time calling the insurance company, being put on hold, and waiting to see what my coverage was or wasn’t. Jessica did this all for me. A few minutes later she called me back to tell me what was covered and also gave me a plan of attack on how to fix the tooth. The next day I was sitting in her office getting my tooth fixed. Jessica did an amazing job. She took her time to make sure the bonding matched my existing tooth color. She then sculptured the tooth to match my existing teeth line. Further she gave me the play by play of what she was doing to ease my anxiety of any pain. For example, “applying air” to clean the tooth area before attaching the bonding. I laughed to myself when I first heard this because my “Old” dentist from childhood would never do something like that. They would just do their job and not really worry about the patient sitting in the chair. Overall, I give Jessica and her practice a 5 star review. To wrap up this review, I will leave you with 1 thought: During my stay, I learned that Jessica took art and sculpture classes while in College. Who better to fix your teeth and play around with bonding than somebody who can make statues out of clay! Michelangelo would be proud of her :o)

ok, so i never write these reviews but i had to here bc this was an unusual dentist experience – i needed a crown which another dentist told me would cost almost 2000 – dr. pandich who doesnt take my insurance worked with my insurance company and it cost me very little, the crown was great and my tooth never felt better, then i had to go back last week bc i had a cavity, she injected medication to numb it first and i didnt even feel the needle go in, she was great!

A bright, sunny, modern office. A welcoming and professional atmosphere. A thorough and thoughtful consultation with clear explanations and options. I feel I’m in good hands. Thanks to Drs Alexandra Simpson and Lillian Mittl for the referral. I had a wonderful experience throughout my treatment with Dr Pandich. I was depressed and anxious when I first came in and so satisfied and confident when I was finished. The office was very accommodating with appointment scheduling and with my insurance claims. I highly recommend this super gifted specialist.
